Management touched on this at the Melb roadshow. I got the feeling they're itching to take him to court for a good rogering and not the sort or rogering he likes from boatman.

Over the last 6 years in the DRC, AVZ have carried out Soil Sampling, Field Mapping, Consulting, Drilling, Metallurgical Testing, Completing a FEED Study, Environmental Study and Impact Assessment Reports including Groundwater Management, a 160 page Definitive Feasibility Study, a SEZ Agreement, Tendering for Mining Infrastructure, Legally Obtaining and Paying For an Increased Share of Dathcom, Obtaining Several Offtake Agreements for both Lithium and Tin, Raising Capital, Negotiating Funding with Pan African DFI’s and a Funding and Offtake Agreement with CATH, Presenting at the Battery Minerals Conference, Legally Fulfilling all Requirements to Obtain the Mining License, Including Receiving the Ministerial Decree to Award the Mining License and producing an 85 page Sustainability Report, Spending millions of dollars and Supporting the Local Community….

Now corrupt State owned Cominiere is working with the Minister of Mines and Director General of the DRC Mining Cadastre (CAMI) to deny granting AVZ Minerals a Mining License

Remember this when attending MINING INDABA 2023 if you are thinking of investing in mining in the DRC

I'm open to sharing any documents and sourcing them on request. I think by having full documents rather than snippets people here can get more clarity, I know i'm definitely in that boat so, yeah.

To avoid calls of being a gatekeeper or cherry picking, i'm going to just continue reading the thread as i have been and provide what i can: be it photoshopped pics of the Twot Engine or DRC docs that have been requested, and my favourite Spongebob.

I think we should finally learn now that the president is not our rescue hammer and can not work against so many bad people in his government in the same time. He is the first president after a long kabila regime. The MoP is against us for many months now, the MoM clearly showed that she has enough and want the project go forward. I think the government don’t care if with us or without us. All that fighting against cominiere and zijin instead of working for a relationship had bring us in the situation that they finally try to get the complete license back. They had 18 months to cancel the deal with zijin but nothing happened in our favor, after two times the MoP accused by the IGF she is still there. I’m not sure why I was so blind and imagined that a few people and a little company have a chance to change this corruption influenced by the Chinese. The world know about the image of the drc, nothing will change and nobody care if they kick us out. I’m not sure how anyone can believe that everything will go in our way. I can’t believe they restore the complete license and give a new decree, the unwilling of working with each other still exist. The government would not benefit. Zijin would work with us they don’t care and want to make money with the project, maybe they would take us over later but who cares. If we don’t come to a agreement I don’t think the government will wait many month’s until the ICC is settled. Their people are dying and they need money, and a little Australien company don’t want to work with corrupt guys (what I completely understand but what choice did we?) and this generates a situation nothing can go forward. The president, the prime minister, the MoP or MoM could give their best to cancel that deal and show they are behind us. But they didn’t. Our lawyers or marius didn’t changed the situation. What else can we do anymore than just accept the situation and take zijin money what would help to start with the project? Go to ICC and claimed for money the next years? The government showed they can’t be trusted. We can loose all our money or make a agreement with this assholes and hope it’s not to late for it. I’m the first one who hope the best but I’m the first one too who can accept when a fight is lost. even if you want to shoot against me, but I think the management misjudged the situation and hoped they working in accordance with the law.

Ive tried look at the positive options but it Looks like it's the condition of doing business in the DRC.

Work with zijin, or don't mine. From what I've seen, most mines in the DRC has the zijin name attached to it.

What's really fucked us is dathomir coming back and saying that their sale of the 15% was null and void.

At this stage I just want clarification and certainty as I have no idea which way it will go.
It's the lack of definitive information that's really getting to me.
