For the first time in a long while, it feels like all we have to do is wait..
Tommy’s quiet, Shane and the shitpost crew are losing their minds, MMGA are tucking their greasy gold chains beneath their legs, CominiereSA is scrambling to spin stories about a hydro plant while not understanding how magnets even work, and Beijing Joe is out. Meanwhile, America-First Trump is on the verge of taking office with his EV loving butt buddy.
Can you feel it?
We’re finally in the driver’s seat. The ball is in their court. The DRC now faces a choice: either come to the table and negotiate in good faith, bringing both Chinese and Western investment to accelerate a globally significant project, one that could also fulfill their vision of creating a major battery hub with the world’s largest player backing it or they risk facing the consequences. Logically, what option would you choose?
The reality is, we have the funding and the backing to see this through. Many of us have been waiting for this moment for years. We’ve advocated, we’ve endured, and we’re no longer willing to be played with. If it takes another decade to get what’s rightfully ours, so be it. If necessary, we’ll go all the way, through the courts, through every channel available, and make sure Zijin and the DRC are held accountable for the games they’ve been playing. We won’t let them get away with it even if it means every cent goes back to lawyers and we end up starting a pineapple farm.
Let’s not forget: the world is watching. China, the West, investors, and even the DRC itself everyone knows this is a pivotal moment in the battle to secure metals. The window of opportunity is closing fast, and they can either make a smart decision now, or they can pay the price later.
We’ve been patient, but our patience is running out. Every day that passes brings us closer to a showdown they can't run from. If they think they can drag this out, they’re sorely mistaken. If they think they can get away with breaking their cotnracts, they’re in for a rude awakening. This isn’t just about a single project anymore, this is about proving that integrity matters, that international law means something, and that we won’t back down from corruption.
I’m sure an ultimatum has already been issued. With February looming, the pressure’s on. It’s up to them now, either they join the winning team , or they’ll need to start buying expensive Scotch to try and lawyer willing to defend these scumbags in an open-and-shut case.
Either way, it's time to face the music, and we're setting the playlist.
