It won’t have much impact. You’ll still be able to Roe and Wade across the sea of green next week

Team, how are we looking for the week ahead?

Is this whole US abortion stuff gonna impact?

No impact whatsoever - unless you're an American woman who requires an abortion or any person anywhere in the world who is concerned about the erosion of women's rights.

Because men have no right to be concerned about woman's rights? Or because men have no right to be concerned about the rights of unborn children?

This paper is interesting from the perspective of independently proving what Peter van der Made and Anil Mankar have already shown and brought to market which is the benefits of 4 bit activations without loss of accuracy:

It also confirms how far ahead AKIDA is and how far behind are many of those working in academia.

My opinion only DYOR

Thanks for pointing that out @Quatrojos . I have just edited my response to be more inclusive.

I was just listening to a BBC discussion and it was proposed that this decision may (fingers crossed) act as a catalyst in the ultra conservative Republican states for change at the ballot box.

It occurred to me that a consequence of this could be that over time a new less conservative Congress and Senate will be prepared to move on gun law reform to protect children at school.

The one thing that did come out of this discussion on the BBC was the fact that this decision is in a practical sense only going to affect the poor as they will most likely not be able to afford the cost of travelling to one of the many US states where abortion will continue to be legal.

Being poor has little to commend it.

That is why to have true choice you need some wealth so DYOR as those with wealth hold onto it very tightly.

My opinion only DYOR

One should realise not everyone is supportive of abortion, I for one don't support the idea if killing babies just because the mother doesn't want the baby, I prefer not to go into too much argument and would be my last comment on this subject, but every lives matter.

If there's a crime involved, obviously things would be different and a blanket law either way is not the way to go imo.

Anyway, as I said, I know there'll be some backlash on this post, but I don't mind, it's just my opinion and would be my first and last comment on the same.

In a practical sense, there are many more people affected by this than the poor, such as lawmakers, defenders, doctors, etc. Oh, and some unborn babies, too.

I made a mistake before. I was too general and off the cuff and didn’t check who the person was looking at my profile when I made the above statement. I was going on memory and got it wrong. I need to correct the record as I like to be as accurate as I honestly can. Sorry about that.

Funnily enough I’m not that interesting so they would have been very disappointed!

:)

Brainchip’s the real story here!
I think when your shareholdings are large enough to attract the attention of Treasury, there are many people who would find you interesting.

Who wants to live in an idiocracy where the conscience of one group is imposed on the rest?

Roll on the mid-terms.

Up early today as I'm off to Bali with the kids and the grandies.
Text message from Jetstar, "Your flight has been cancelled. Go to http:// etc etc or contact your travel agent yada yada yada. We're sorry your flight has been cancelled." Are you kidding me????
Contacted Jetstar for "Free" alternate flight. None available for next two weeks. Bang goes our accommodation. I've got insurance so should be OK.
Reason given..."Operational Reasons". How can they get away with that shit?

When are you migrating as there is an argument that all that has happened in the US is that the Federal Supreme Court has ceded back to the States a power which was wrongly removed putting the USA in line with Australia.

In Australia each State makes laws with respect to abortion and euthanasia they are not issues for the Federal Government except where the NT is concerned and that will likely change.

Yes, @MC🐠 I do believe we are going to be working both in space and on Earth with Alexa.

This SBIR says in regards to BrainChip 's Akida that "The system will be available as a “plug and play module” for all future spacecraft".

And combined with this information, it's a shoo-in IMO!👯‍♀️ 🚀🌜🍾🥳

PS: Amazon wants to focus on enhancing Alexa in remote environments on Earth that have no connectivity. Hello AKIDA! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It is a matter for individual conscience*. Most theocracies are not very pleasant places to live. The Republicans have subverted the court system in the US - added to Trump's allegedly treasonous behaviour, it looks like the cradle of modern democracy is on the skids.

Probably investing in pregnancy test manufacturers would be a good move.

*I do believe it should be retrospective and compulsory in a couple of cases (I've got a little list).

I never said Americans were as smart as Australians or progressive but there was a time when abortion clinics were seen as criminal enterprises here something which we both are old enough to remember.

The issues that plague the US could be largely resolved by compulsory voting.

If politicians thought they were accountable to their whole electorate it would improve their approach to issues.
