Sean said less that a week ago that the expected release was August. He needs to be either more careful with his words, or more accurate with deliverables, either way it isn't a good look.

Yes, I few mixed signals, but I will still suggest that late Q3 is more likely....what's a few weeks either way, let's get this right, if not, it would be an arrow through our (my) heart...this is precision revolutionary technology, one mistake now would be devastating.

"We have previously stated that we are targeting late Q3 as the date for release of Akida 2.0, and we remain on track to meet that deadline".

cheap, many others haven't had that opportunity, but still believe in our company delivering...Tech xx

Hi Guys.
ASX200 and 300 rebalance will be notified tomorrow morning as I understand it.
Given our share price's decline, particularly over the last year, I am expecting we will be given the boot.
Todays share price action has manipulators paw marks all over it IMO.
We all know the game where they push it up a bit selling from one rat account to another all to try and take advantage of something they can exaggerate as a disaster tomorrow.
Whilst I would prefer us not to get pushed out of the index as its a path we eventually have to tread anyway, don't be surprised if it happens and be prepared for all the catastrophizing that may accompany it.
Just maybe, after all the rebalancing occurs, we will get some respite from the rats, and restart our slow and steady climb back up the charts, but backed this time with more and more reliable income.

I'm not completely sure what will happen but there likely is no doom and gloom for being booted.

Likely is the institution needs to sell off holdings they would either cross trade to an account that can hold and then the shorts would be called on to return the shares.

It would not be a straight down event like some would think. Now the other part would mean the short will need to cover which would benifit tge sp.

All and all I think for some reason we will still be in the ASX200 imo

My old memory banks tell me that the potential announcement which will be tomorrow happens before trading begins and then the actual rebalance occurs two weeks later (as you say 15 Sept.) and that happens after trade finishes along with all the other witchy coven stuff.

I don't see how this statement could be made with an educated estimate on 28th August and not be delivered until LATE September as Tech is suggesting.

Yes, keywords being = "expected release". As a shareholder reading this report, I would then "expect" they deliver on their most current stated timeframe. Just say end of September if they mean September. They still have tomorrow to come good on the announcement from my perspective (US end of August).

I realise end of September is just another month to wait. But I do think a little more professionalism and follow through on loose statements ie "explosion of sales activity" need to start being backed up in a timely fashion. Everyones excited for the break through moment for Brainchip - lets get the ball rolling on time now.

Whilst I don't care if its the end of this or next month, for me its an accountability thing. I want our management to learn that shareholders (and the market in general) take comments at face value, and that they shouldn't say X if they mean Y.

I want comments, announcements, predictions, timeframes to be concise. Not because I'm a control freak tyrant with unrealistic expectations, but because I want our company to be a global leader in AI and I believe that reliability in management (amongst other attributes) is how we get there.

Sean does not have a good track record in this area (or have proven to have a good track record in any area yet if we're going to be honest), and I strongly believe he needs to work on it.

Ie, the August 2023 reference is to the timing of when the customers decided to defer their evaluations of Brainchip's technology, instead deciding to wait for gen 2 to be released which is as Tech suggests expected to be released end of September.

If that's the case then whoever wrote the paragraph needs to write better the paragraph was worded terribly.

If as you say, the statement is suggesting that Gen 2 is due for release in August 2023, and the announcement is confirming this circa 4 days before the end of the month then they not only miss August but miss it by almost an entire month, then that would be inexcusable. There'd be reasons i'm sure but you can't committ to a date 4 days out and miss it by 30 days. That's just poor communication/management.

As Jesse mentioned, the board run on US time so perhaps this is all for naught and we'll receive an announcement tomorrow on the 1st of September.

If not then I think the first sentence in this post is the reason for the confusion rather than it being a missed deadline.

Edit. I'm going to ask Tony Dawe, will report back when/if I receive a response.

I can't believe it and expect and announcement after trading hours.

The ASX have the ability to release announcements until 7pm AEST on trading days.

No, I'm trying to use logic and reasoning.

There are three possibility here.

1) the board have mentioned on the 28th of August that akida 2.0 will be released in August 2023 and the deadline has been missed (3 days after they've commited to the deadline) - not a great reflection of management.
2) They haven't missed the deadline and the announcement will come tonight or tomorrow, August 2023 US time. - lets forgive them for being yanks
3) I'm correct, the paragraph was worded poorly and the board was telling us in August 2023 several customers elected to defer their evaluation of brainchips technology - management need to work on their grammar and you can start sucking on my salty balls

Don't waste my time again unless it's to ask me to unzip my pants.
