AKD 2.0 is on schedule, has been progressing as expected, Sean confirmed this recently when he stated that he expected the
general release of AKD 2.0 to be made available LATE Q3 meaning LATE September 2023.

Any earlier would be a blessing, EAP's have already had access to the IP from my understanding, but I'm always wrong, not !

Has it crossed your mind that some of the named partners this year have potentially been engaged with us for a while now and are

TeNN is, by the company's own statements. and those of the EAPs cited on the Akida 2 webpage, a compelling proposition.

I think Lassen Peak will not take long to develop the product, it's basically plug-and-play once the model library and NN layer configuration are settled.

Prophesee and SiFive are particularly exciting prospects.

But with Lidar, Bosch and ZF were extremely short-tempered. In too late and out too early. Bosch CEO Stefan Hartung can take credit for being a manager who likes to make decisions. But in McKinsey style, Bosch would never have invested over ten years in the development of anti-lock braking systems (ABS) or driving stability programmes (ESP), which are extremely successful today. Bosch already refrained from investing in battery cells for financial reasons. Now the company is left out in this key technology. Bosch prefers to invest in software and chips rather than in battery chemistry and lidar. But chips also play a role in lidar. Nvidia or Qualcomm have been investing in automotive applications for a long time without great economic success. They can easily afford to do so because of their highly profitable core business beyond cars.
And these are precisely the new competitors that Bosch is encountering in the field of software. But Bosch must not run out of steam in this key competence for the car of the future.
