Very interesting,

'It's doing this on hardware 3, on 100W of inference compute. So its not on massive Data Center. If we are off-line, their will be no different. All the inference is happening locally and does not need an internet connection"

I do think 100w is high for what we know of Akida. However, what happens if Akida is add to a Nvidia GPU. Because all that processing would require the processing power of a GPU and Akida can help with some of the local inference when the internet is disconnect. (Just layman thought)

HG can you imagine your and anyone's dot joining have much less meaning as compared to what the company is telling us.
Brainchip had reached at 5th position in short selling. Three months ago at investor update Sean told us SP will do what it has to do and this time Antonio told us akida 1.0 was not robust enough to support the sp. And partners are waiting for akida 2.0 now
So what you want to get from those investor updates. Is that the company is trying to tell holders that shorters had out smart us?? Or company is thinking actually shorters are right and we holders are idiot.
There was a time when I always get happy when shorter increase their bet, because that will mean holders can benefit but the last two investor updates had ruined my confidence in management. Just today 27 million shares are traded and we holders does not know other than dot joinings.
At the AGM Sean cannot speak well with share holders but the same Sean was confident while interviewing with someone on social media.
To me last two investor updates only benefitted the shorters.
Why the company could not tell us 2 years ago that we are getting headwinds with software. That would had be detrimental at that time but would had been wise advise to holders. Now when the shorters are all over us they are telling us that akida 1.0 was launched without any after market support. Donot you think LDN was removed because of that reason but company never try to tell to the holders what is going wrong.
Rob was saying to us tip of iceberg while they were not having right partners to support the iceberg.
I have only simple point if they keep quite that long and product is really good then why to come out and talk about weaknesses at a crucial point and demotivate the holders.
I believe SP would had been better without those investor updates. That is a reason I assume the investor updates are either to support the shorts or the worse has to come yet.
WAT?

Have you have been sharing the braincell with @Jamescan again?

Mate, I can't do anything to change the past, and dwelling on it would turn me into a nervous wreck. All I try to do is remain calm in the current moment and have a positive outlook on the future.

Some of you should try changing your mindset - you'll feel a whole lot better.

You’re correct. What baffles my mind is that all the posters with their “burn the shorters” attitude started rallying against them when we were at >1$ claiming that they loose money.
We have to face that the first generation failed massively. We have to face that none of the dot joining in the past 3-4 years ever eventuated to something material. We know that valeo won’t use the current Akida technology.

I’m sure our technology is top notch especially the following generations.
However, it doesn’t matter as long as the management board fails to deliver. If companies choose other technologies over ours no matter if ours is superior, then management ist not able to handle our company.
Now we have to hope that a cap raise won’t be coming and that the management team chooses action over words. Something up until this point they were never able to do.

LDA are our finance partners. We still need to make another call to satisfy our obligation before the end of the year. That's why so many shorts are hanging around, a near guaranteed supply of new shares from the company itself as there is no revenue to pay the bills.

Not popular but a reality of business. There is no free lunch.

Abstract from a Research China report.

I see Arteris IP in there. Geez be nice if Antonio had some input somewhere given he's a NED at Arteris too. Isn't that what networking supposed to help with

Not look like our gear but this was HW3 not 4 yet.

The technical barriers for chip fabrication are not particularly high. The primary threshold is enough capital and order intake. The chip industry now adopts the block-building model, namely, purchasing IPs to build chips including CPU, GPU, NPU, storage, NoC/bus, ISP and video codec. In the future, as chiplet ecosystems and processes get improved, the threshold for independent development of autonomous driving SoCs will be much lower for automakers just need to buy dies (IP chip) directly and then package them, with no need to buy IPs.

In the case of Tesla HW 3.0, the architecture design is based on Samsung Exynos-IP; the CPU/GPU/ISP design uses ARM’s IP; the network-on-chip (NoC) uses Arteris’ IP. Tesla only self-develops neural network accelerator (NNA) IP, and the foundry is Samsung.

Tesla deepens its cooperation with Broadcom on HW 4.0 development. To improve AI computing power, the easiest and most effective way is to stack up MAC units and SRAM. For AI operations, the main bottleneck is storage. The disadvantage is that SRAM occupies a large space of chips, and the chip area is however proportional to the cost. Moreover, it is difficult to increase the density and reduce the area of SRAM using advanced processes.

Therefore the area of Tesla's first-generation bare chip FSD HW 3.0 is 260 square millimeters, and the area of the second-generation bare chip FSD HW 4.0 is expected to be up to 300 square millimeters, with the total cost estimated to increase by at least 40-50%. By our estimate, the cost of HW3.0 chips has dropped to USD90-100, and HW 4.0 should cost USD150-200, but even so, Tesla’s self-developed chips are far more cost-effective than the bought-in.

I'm not sure how to interpret that. What do I care about the umbrellas of my friends and I think:

I am here for many years to look back later with Schadenfreude.)

I will never have to say to myself again - if I had once (Amazon, MS, Google). The game at the table goes into the next round. I am very patient. So patient, in fact, that the vacation season in Sweden which pushes the MC down by dozens of millions doesn't make me itch.

Looking forward to the MB with
Akida, Talnode Si and ReRAM on board, sometime. I still don't find that improbable. Rather the opposite.

I am not familiar with Linkedin and how the communication mechanisms there work. What purpose can it serve for someone (here from TCS) to link to two of their colleagues in Cc as a comment? Is it just to draw attention so that the other two see the post as well?

Sorry cosors,

A couple of feeble translingual puns:

s(c)hade = umbra -> umbrella

Na, all fine. You know English is my Archilles' verse. I'm here to learn. At first I thought something like: Schadenfreude of the friends and that as a defensive shield ~ umbrella because of the frustration they might suspect in me because not only BRN looks badly beaten up, but also TLG and on top of it WBT.
But then I immediately thought, no, Dio is not that schadenfreudig(ly) he sits in the same boat after all.
Actually, we need an umbrella against schadenfreude until we are out of the situation and to make schadenfeudig(ly) fun of the unbelievers.
But I'm blurring that too.
We don't need that.)
But schadenfreude is sometimes really fun when it hits the right people, I admit.
Adjusted my post above...

_______
schadenfeudig(ly) [schadenfreudig]
reminds me somehow of the Swiss. I think they also hang an li/ly (same pronunciation) on everything. The Swiss German and South Baden suffix -li (pronounced [lɪ]) is a diminutive affix and diminishes a noun (cf. diminutive) or sometimes other words such as pronouns. Functionally, it basically corresponds to the High German -chen/-lein.

...a diminutive form such as Micklelein or Micklechen ≅ small dick or bobtail or small wiener or wienenerli

____
good example for schadenfreude that comes in my mind:
Schröder.jpeg

screwed ? or fooled ? (ass as a verb; assed?)
A well-done anti campaign ad full of schadenfreude. Our ex-chancellor, the Putin-licker. It was about that he was accused of concealing the true budget situation and about the statement before the election that he and his party firmly promised they would not increase the tax. After the election everything was forgotten and the money was welcome.
