And why are some people waiting to vote until after the next 4C? is a few million in income going to really change your mind on giving the employees millions of shares? especially when you know the following quarter could be low again as Sean stated income could be a roller coaster journey.

I have no idea what they did to deserve those shares on top of the salary... especially our non exec directors? I think they are already being paid high

And to say NO to all is the best way to express our dissatisfaction about the present situation and the lack of information. That should wake them up for a moment.

I realise that you have a lot on your plate and again wish to thank you for providing this forum for us all to enjoy and profit from. 🤣

I am glad to hear that it requires a minimum of 5 complaints before action is taken on any particular post but wonder if any weight or consideration is applied to the "likes", " hearts", "fire" emoji's that are also bestowed upon said posts?
Surely these "votes" have a similar value as clicking the "report" icon?

Perhaps we are mature enough here to contemplate the incorporation of a thumbs down icon whereby it is possible to show public displeasure at any particular post or sentiment expressed. At the moment the closest we can go towards that is to express sadness.

I think we are close to a satisfactory solution that may just involve a little detuning of the hair trigger and desensitisation of the application of what is currently being condemned as profanity, personal abuse, baiting and flaming and interpretations of what is confrontational and aggressive behaviour. In the posts where I have been accused of such things I have been flabbergasted at these reactions.
Much is seeming to be banned on these lines when in fact the intent behind their use was humour, sarcasm or irony as a way of making a point.
Without these subtle tools it can all become too dry and brittle.

I am glad to see that you are open and aware of the potentialities of throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

One thing which has been consistent ever since we first engaged our EAP was we listened, created, shared engineering ideas which led
to the creation of CNNSNN then we listened and created MetaTF, now we have listened and created AKD 1500, yes I realize it hasn't
officially left the foundry yet and will require some testing, then we (Peter and Co) created AKD 2000, this I am sure was after a lot of
discussions had taken place between our EAP's still hidden behind the cloak of darkness and Anil, Kris and Co to better understand, to
better facilitate all the needs of our prospective customers moving forward, then just recently more great progress, committing to make
available for all developers, PyTorch.

The Brainchip design and engineering teams are bending over backwards to accommodate any potential major client, all in a bid to see
our company succeed...try to appreciate that before racing to judge our Executive please.

I am aware that there has been a lot (maybe an exaggeration) of tweaking going on, but ultimately, once the samples are released, if not so
already, the individual companies concerned will obviously have their own in-house engineers put the tech through it's paces, then and only
then will an IP finally be signed off on, I see a number of companies sitting at stage 2 or 3 on the IP License Agreement scale, so once again
were are held captive if you like until they decide to 100% commit.

The Brainchip team stationed at Head Office in the US (still think Perth is HQ) :ROFLMAO: can only CONTROL the CONTROLLABLES.

My opinion, simply just that.....Tech :coffee:😉

our company succeed...try to appreciate that before racing to judge our Executive please.

I’ve had my suspicions and could be completely wrong, but who are you Tech within the company? As that’s so written like someone that works within like many before.

I agree the technical advances are not a signal of Sean's success in his role as CEO.

It's important to look at where Brainchip was as a company prior to Sean's appointment to fully assess his performance to date.

Prior to Sean coming on, PVDM was our interim CEO during the search for a new CEO which we now know to be Sean Hehir.

I've met Peter multiple times, he's an amazing human, a true innovator and no doubt works himself more than he needs to given his age and financial position, but he's not cut from the CEO cloth and I would hazard a guess probably hated his time in the chair and would have much preferred to be out the back in the shed (or Brainchip Research Institute) tinkering away on our next gen technologies instead of facing up for a stocks down under presentation.

I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to say there was only one-hand on the steering wheel while Peter was temporarily driving the bus, and you know what, that's probably fair. The fact is prior to Sean and given the stage that the company was at, Peter's role as CTO was the most important role at the company at that time. During Peter's interim tenure as CEO, NVISO's driver monitoring system would have been flashing red and beeping at the detection of an unalert driver because Peter simply had more important things to do day-to-day.

Fast forward to Sean's appointment as CEO, 9 months or so after the search began. Peter takes his one hand off the wheel and gets to walk down the aisle to the back of the bus where he takes a seat next to the cortical column he had been heavily working on 9 months prior but has had limited time to tinker with of late due to his increased responsibility as interim CEO. He picks up the cortical column and looks at it intently, his eyes begin to shine and a large smile crosses his face.

Sean climbs the steps of the bus, looks around, gives a wave to those on the bus and then sits down in the warm seat left behind by Peter. Sean pulls a pair of aviators out of his jacket pocket and puts them on before then placing two hands on the steering wheel and gently steering the bus back into the centre of the lane.

I'm aware a lot of the above would have been a team effort including the likes of Rob Telson and Chris Stevens, but Sean's top priority upon appointment was to [rephrased] "prepare for the broad commercial launch of Akida silicon and intellectual property".

In addition to the above, I wonder how many of the podcasts guests that have come on since Sean's appointment have come from his strong network of top-tier global companies. Jean-Luc Chatelain (Accenture's [$183B company] Managing Director and Global Chief Technology Officer of Accenture Applied Intelligence) being at least one of them.

Long gone are the days where Brainchip turns up to CES with an unironed table cloth. The company has taken significant steps forward in its commercialisation efforts since the appointment of Sean.

Sean can't make the technology hit the market quicker, he relies on Anil, Peter and the rest of the team to get it to our customers to test. Timing of commercial deals is then out of everyones hands. I'm sure we're not far off deals landing, it is and has always been a matter of time and I believe that time is getting closer.

What Sean can do is get the company positioned well from a partnership and ecosystem perspective, to ensure smooth and fast uptake of our technology market wide in an ubiquitous manner. The above developments, in my opinion, confirm Sean has done a great job of positioning Brainchip in this regard.

There's more work to be done no doubt, but in my mind, Sean is doing a great job, irrespective of the share price, which will do what it'll do.

Great post @SERA2g , Sean was also on board for the ISL EAP announcement early last year. This was a significant development imo as it is a direct connection to the AFRL as a big chunk of the DOD and probably feeds into the Blue Ridge collaboration.

What about poor Manny ?
Doesn't he deserve a bonus 8,000,000 shares for resigning ?
I hope they don't feel the need to dilute shareholders everytime someone decides to leave.
I won't be voting till last minute in case of a lates reveal , like the Arms deal.
It’s been a while since Manny resigned but it’s my understanding instead of taking the shares owed at the time there was a handshake deal he could take them later although I can’t recall the circumstances now but it was quite logical at the time. They then lapsed. I wish I could recall the specific circumstances to properly convey what occurred back then but I don’t have FF’s memory.

When it came to returning the shares owed to Manny as per their agreement at the time it was realised that technically they couldn’t be re-vested to him without shareholders consent: hence this vote to authorise it.

Given there was an agreement to re-vest them to him at the time I think it’s only fair to honour the agreement. As well as it being the right thing to do it also shows the company will look after their staff.

The other side of the coin is that if the shares aren’t returned then I imagine it will be pursued through the courts in which case it will likely cost more and tarnish Brainchip’s reputation as being a company of choice for future employees.

I have to admit that I‘m not very knowledgeable about licensing IP and so on. But I remember some statements (I think it was Sean Hehir) that they are awaiting some more patents to be granted.

And I wonder if you are a company planning to sell chips or sublicenses in the markets/countries the potentially granted patents apply to, maybe they are just waiting for these grants to materialize.

I‘m assuming that they might need to wait as long to de-risk their investment in Brainchip licenses. Could this be part of the reason for the current silence regarding additional license sales?

As stated at the beginning, this is not my area of expertise and I would like to hear the opinion of someone who knows more than me.

Btw thx a lot for this great platform and all the informative and funny contributions. I like it a lot.

That's right.
It was certainly something along those lines.
And, as you say, it is a debt owed that a shonky company might try and delay or get out of, but which, when tested in court will likely go against us with all the extra associated ill will, costs and unnecessarily distracting drama.
So, a bit like getting a parking or speeding ticket. 🤣
You can jump up and down, raise your blood pressure and pay the ticket......or, just pay the ticket and move on.

already, the individual companies concerned will obviously have their own in-house engineers put the tech through it's paces, then and only
then will an IP finally be signed off on, I see a number of companies sitting at stage 2 or 3 on the IP License Agreement scale, so once again
were are held captive if you like until they decide to 100% commit.

The Brainchip team stationed at Head Office in the US (still think Perth is HQ) :ROFLMAO: can only CONTROL the CONTROLLABLES.

My opinion, simply just that.....Tech :coffee:😉

Probably have been, but until we see real $$$ I think they should wait to reap the rewards until we do as well.
I vote yes only because I want the execs to have a financial interest in an increasing share price

It's a real shame there isn't more transparency around the Incentives.
Hard to vote yes blindly, but if they are making good progress that deserves recognition, hard to blindly vote no.
Without knowing the kpis and targets met it's a bit airy fairy
As others have said I think waiting for the 4C would be prudent, I'm not sure why people are voting prior.

I will wait until the 4C is released to look for a few things:
1. Will it be a near copy and pasta job again?
2. Progress on patents and the tech side of the business (this has also been quiet lately which I wonder about). We have so many in the works but no official word lately from the company on these with a little more specifics than the usual broad brush statement.
3. Of course receipts. But that is a roll of the dice as we can speculate as much as we like about that.

I feel salty about the SP as many of us all have every right to, but I remember we are in a risk-off investing envronment and with the world in a shoddy macro economic postiion, I can be a little more forgiving. That and we are in the tech/ai category. Explosive gains and rollercoasters. I have deep down the Web 3 (crypto really) rabbit hole for a few years now as well and understand we as an AI company can be exposed to the same volatility. Also the ASX/Media and sundry are seemingly against Brainchip, but that is all orchestrated for penny stocks with potential IMO.

That being said though, the 4C will validate mostly what I think has been lazy and vague communication to us shareholders about details that can be revealed. Also the strategy must be reiterated for Sean's sake. I know bulding an ecosystem first is important to our strategy, but I didn't know that until I heard the second from last podcast. How many shareholders know about this?
I will vote after the 4C that may change my mind. But right now, I understand why some posters are voting the way they are.

As a natural optimist, I am hoping for some positive news anyway that can blow our minds soon. I want to open an announcement and run rings around wherever I may be (or a turtle waddle really).
