My unreasonable hopefulness is saying they got a last minute positive anouncement and are rushing it through!

Of course my unrelenting terror is also saying the ASX are refusing further extensions and the company is scarambling like fuck to say something before we dive to 1 cent.....

They must be copping a pineappling from ASX to provide further justification for extension of the suspension........otherwise ASX would have put into pre open and allowed orders to start being lodged without an announcement from the company by 10.00am

In the case the asx don't allow further extensions did they need to make a announcement before the trading start? Or can it start without a annoucement?

If it's price sensitive there will be a 20 minute gap between announcement and trade . Just enough time to kiss our arses good-bye if it's negative .

No announcement needed as AVZ approval for suspension expired at 10.00am...so ASX could put it into pre open at any time if they havent received anything from AVZ.

The most probably explaination is there is some more information in the extension anouncement that the ASX wants clarification on, and there's a back and forth going on right now.

Surely AVZ cannot be that incompetent ? Wait a minute , let me think about that for second.......

You would hope not and i wouldnt expect so.

My guess is they are having discussions and the ASX giving them a hard time and requiring further justification for another extension...otherwise ASX is compelled to open trading as the previous approval has expired.

The previous extension was valid until 1 November, so the new extensions was granted prior to expiry of the previous one.

This time is different...the suspension has actually expired without a new extension being granted so far.

Imagine you invested in a Stock which get suspended for 11 months. A new extension is overdue and you start to get worried it’s crashing down to sub 3 cents.

1 minute before close of the after market, a new mining decree is falling through the roof
