AVZ Discussion 2022

Through the last 6 months I’ve tried to remain positive and constructive, and I’ve backed Nigel every inch of the way….

But @wombat74 you might have to prop me up mate because I’ve got to the stage I’ve had a gut full and when I think about Roadshow Presentations, all I can visualise is a lot of power point projections showing unmet and unrealistic forecasts, unanswered questions and a hidden agenda to pass the hat around again. It’s just what I seem to have seen at every fucken presentation I’ve seen.

If they had any concrete good news to share, they could have done it, and fucken well could do it at a piss worth of the cost of a roadshow by just telling us in an ASX announcement.

Someone’s post above this said it looks like the DRC are running the show and AVZ is just doing what their told, and I’m starting to agree.

I’ve pretty well made allowances for the DRC being incompetent, and allowed for them having many different dialects among their people and having to translate everything from their main language (French) into English, Chinese and Arabic but I’m worn out by the lack of transparency and the only thing I like being kept in the dark and fed bullshit is magic mushrooms.

The last company I owned that had a picture of the exec’s at the local port talking about infrastructure and approvals went into administration…. You remember that one @Frank. If our executives can’t be more open about what’s going and give appropriate responses at the roadshow presentations they just might hear swearing all the way from NSW to Perth.

Huge thanks to those here who provide the jokes to keep me going

Mate surely they will have good news to report prior to the road show/ AGM . Why the f--k have a roadshow if it's not to spread the love ? This is a roadshow for celebration imo . A group wank if you will .

Sounds like a big wank alright. No news for 5 months but one day we'll do some money grubbing roadshow - Fuck off.
We're supposed to be constructing a mine as of 6 months ago.
Just the word 'roadshow' is reminiscent of some carnie freak circus imo.

If the "roadshow" doesn't deliver the goods the BOD will be the first Up against the wall when the AGM revolution comes.

If your referring to WFE you’re going to trigger my nervous twitch!
Lost a good bit of coin on that. Would love to meet Brewer in a dark alley…..
Anyways, in my limited experience roadshows are normally preceding management passing around the tin can.
I wonder if we lost some % therefore CATH % decreasing therefore we don’t have the funds to prove we can build. So we need another 50-100m to satisfy the conditions to get the ML.
But I’m just talking gibberish. I have NFI what’s going on.
No time really to organize the roadshows before AGM. I wonder if it’s their tactic for the AGM. ‘Hey guys we have nothing to report but we’ll tell you all about it at the roadshows, so please Mr Wombat put the baseball bat down’

Should be ok. Zijin hasn’t declared victory which I doubt they would hold back if that was the case.

hey Sammael,

It's that exact type of reaction/attitude that the BOD will be expecting to receive at any roadshow... no way in hell will they volunteer to go stand before shareholders without available, good news...

imagine the shit they've had thrown at them this last 5 months from frustrated shareholders... they wont want more of the same, especially in a place where you can't hide...they'll be well farken aware that they'll have some crosshair's on them...

surely we've got to recognise the possibility that their hands have been tied, and they did need some criitcal elements to be ticked off before they could speak and inform us... and well, they're predicting that all to be ticked off any day now... and well, that will then enable an open communication path at a roadshow...

not defending BOD, just trying to think logically about it..

I don’t know how much everyone on these threads takes into consideration but here are just a couple of things to ‘maybe’ think about

I doubt CATH are going to want to build a battery manufacturing facility in the DRC, they have spent $billions building those in China to process the minerals there

What happens to their contact and there offtakes if the DRC wants all the processing in Africa?

Why do you think the MoM was in France trying to convince they’re manufacturers to go to Africa?

Roadshow Revelations?

“Dathomir, Zigin, Cominiere, CAMI and government negotiations are progressing well but are confidential”

“No need to worry because Momentum Attorneys have advised us on all steps to get our ML…, They currently upload progress on twitter and quickly remove it so as to keep it safe”

“We have a crane on site”

“Our drill cores are excellent and assays are imminent”

“BOD doing an excellent job, one even had his photo taken at the local port”

“No more questions, I will be going around with a hat so I hope you brought money, now enjoy the refreshments…. No Jack Daniels for you MoneyBags, you’ll have to buy your own like last time”

I know I’m getting sarcastic now, but you have to be realistic and think about what you are expecting and what you are going to ask.

Hopefully I’ll be back to myself soon but in the meantime, just because I’m shitty here’s their recent attempt at infrastructure

You can process ore in country without building a full battery plant, if that’s what you’re suggesting. Don’t think DRC is saying they want to make the batteries. Just move further up the value chain.

Thanks Mr Bison, I need positive feedback, but the offtake contracts are for SC6. I’m hopefully out of here for the day now 👍

Mate who's talking baseball bats ? Not me . Good way to end up in court with a pineapple hanging out of your arse . I'm saying they most probably have good news . A road show with no positive news makes zero f--king sense . If these boys can get this across the line and make share holders lots of money then they can have all the freebie shares they want . As as long as I'm staring at a number with 6 zeros beside it after tax I could care less .

I guess we wait and see.
AGM in a little over a month, I'm personally not convinced this roadshow will happen simply because of the lack of resolution to any of the issues to date.
Hopefully they suprise us with a bunch of positive news instead of creating another rod for their own back.
It's a thin hope imo.
But many think I'm a pessimistic bastard.

I for one would not be happy with snouts in the trough again. Jesus just for a bit of perspective ( 500 000 ayear for say 5 years 2.5 mill 50 000000 shares to be consecutive say one dollar a share = 52500000 for five years work) christ the prick from qantas only gets a bit over half that. And your happy for them to take more after this fuck up. Mmm not for me.

i hear ya, they'd want to be rock solid with dates... they've been wrong 312 times so far...

and of course... there is absolutely nothing (other than logic... which can be a stretch with avz) to say the roadshow is before the AGM.... the sentence puts it before the agm in order... but, doesn't specifically say that...

"The Company will provide an update to the market on the status of its activities in the DRC ahead of its planned roadshows and AGM which are scheduled to be held next month."
