AVZ Discussion 2022

I understand the optimism, but what you are hoping for, journalism being accurate, would warrant an announcement. No announcement ... no news. If we are going to rely on a single journalist we may as well rely on what Boatman says as well. One is full of it, without an announcement so is the other !!
Hopeful Is exactly what I am. I agree until official company announcement it is not real news. Let’s hope we are all pleasantly surprised soon.

Got the same result using Safari. Try opening up in Firefox, which worked for me, or maybe Chrome (assuming you’re using Mac or IOS). The page has been updated as at 21 July and still no change to 13359.

An article on Tantalex Lithium and Manono’s tailings in The Africa Report today. The Tantalex CEO suggesting demand for lithium to rise about six times between now and 2030 and hoping for an agreement between them and the Govt to repair roads and bridges between Manono and Lubumbashi. Be nice for someone else to pay for infrastructure rather than AVZ paying everything but I think AVZ will probably already have this sorted before Tantalex get anything done. The Tantalex permit covers the surface area where AVZ has under ground rights. Not really the information I’m waiting for but I guess any information referring to AVZ and the lithium price going up six times might have to do today https://www.theafricareport.com/224...unds-for-drc-lithium-tantalum-tin-production/

Mate, on reasonable authority, @Roller62, Tanalex can't touch it without AVZ approval. In the Mining Code apparently, but who the fuck knows. Klaus seems to be running for Min of Mines role, the way he spouts the crapola

But I'll take the 6 times demand equation

believe it when I see it. Good news is
Company Announcement :
Nigel Ferguson States "Guess what you long suffering bastards, while we were in radio silence we managed a cheeky 66% project holding for us and 24% for CATH and we are going to mine we got money fucking falling from the skies, oh by the way BFS on its way soon boys, better go get some hand cream and wipes"

We really need the BFS to come out with the announcement to support the SP.

Does anyone know if the BFS needs to be approved by either partners or the government, or is it entirely in AVZ’s hands.

Tantalex plans to raise funds for DRC lithium, tantalum, tin production

Canada-headquartered Tantalex Lithium plans to raise funds to bring its assets in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) into operation and continue exploration, CEO Eric Allard tells The Africa Report.
The company aims to raise $15m by early next year, which could be from an off-taker or strategic investor, Allard says. Tantalex is also working to secure bank loans and plans a small equity placement, he adds. Further fundraising would then be needed to build a mine at the largest project, Manono Tailings in south-east DRC, which contains lithium, tantalum and tin.

Drilling continues at Manono Tailings, with a resource estimate due by mid-September and a final investment decision planned for 2023. Production could then start there by late 2024 or early 2025, which would coincide with a forecast peak in lithium demand, Allard says.

Lithium boom

Lithium is a key component in electric vehicle, wind turbine and solar panel batteries. Prices have surged this year as high oil prices accelerate global roll-outs of zero-emission transportation policies.
According to Susan Zou, a senior analyst at Rystad Energy, the battery-grade lithium carbonate price in the domestic Chinese market currently is up by around 832% from the start of last year. Rystad says that the lithium carbonate price in China has room to increase further in the third quarter.
  • Allard says that global demand for lithium is likely to rise by about six times between now and 2030, driven by climate change and electric vehicle adoption.
  • Tantalex is listed in Canada and Frankfurt. This month, the stock started trading on the OTCQB venture market in the US.
  • Executives including Allard hold 14% of its shares, and Swiss metals trader AfriMet Resources is a core shareholder.

Colonial roots

Mining activity at Manono was started by Belgian colonialists in 1913. Poorly maintained Belgian residences can still be seen there, says Allard, who lived for five years in the Republic of Congo and a year in the DRC.
Parts of the road between Manono and Lubumbashi are difficult in the wet season, and some bridges need repairing, Allard says. He hopes to reach an agreement on paying for the repairs with the government, which is a minority partner in the project. It is “obviously in their interests” for the road to be fixed, he argues.

The company has a smaller tin and tantalum project at Lubule, where it has invested $10m. Electronic components such as engine turbines and semiconductors contain tantalum, while tin is used in anti-corrosive plating and coating.

Allard is waiting for Tantalex’s exploration license to be converted into a mining permit. The process is “clearly procedural” and the permit is likely to be “days or weeks away,” he says.
  • Starting production at Lubule would show investors that the company can operate in the region and generate positive cashflow to help fund more exploration, Allard says.
  • The company’s Pegmatite corridor project also has great potential, Allard says. The lithium resource held by AVZ Minerals in the area is “the best lithium resource in the world,” he says.
  • The Tantalex permit covers surface areas, where operating costs will be low, while AVZ has underground rights. The area has “high potential for further discoveries,” Allard concludes.

The bottom line

The world needs the DRC’s lithium resources if a mass shift to electric vehicles is to become reality.

I thought it was in AVZ's hands.

From what nigel has said in the past, it's all ready to go pending ML. So i don't see why it can't come out same time as ML announcement if they wanted to.

Hi All

Just looked up Joseph Kabila net worth.............over $2 billion dollars in offshore accounts from 2001 - 2019 as president of the DRC.

wtf-geezer.gif

Presidential salary is roughly $150 / 160, 000 a year...................thats what Felix is currently on , so my guess it was less than that in previous years, especially around 2001 and the early years there after.

So 19yrs of presendential service for Kabila ................19 x $150,000 ( lets be generous )= around $2.8m.

So how the fuck is he worth $2b ?..............:mad::mad:

DRC minerals value is around $24 trillion.

DRC is the second poorest country in the world.

The average earn for the common folk is less than $2 a day.

In western worlds, if a criminal / or anyone is found to be in posession of exhorbitant amounts of unexplained money, they confiscate it / and imprisonment.

China coys and Kabila need to be probed big time, need to be punished big time, like this mother fucker

Its a disgrace whats going on in the DRC, its a disgrace with whats going on with AVZ.

When will the DRC folk wise up ?

I am looking forward to future posts whereby AVZ get what they thoroughly deserve from this extended suspension, i am looking forward to discussing the updated BFS, SEZ, FID, construction processes, battery hub development, production, dividends and a better future for the poor suffering locals.

I am thoroughly sick of discussing corruption........it makes me vomit brown paper bags full of snacks

In Felix we trust, in Nigel we trust, in justice we hope.
