OK so Webinar tomorrow where.......... "Talga’s Managing Director Mark Thompson will provide an update on the Company’s Vittangi Anode Project and its recent corporate activities, followed by a Question and Answer (Q&A) session"

The Quarterly should have given us a reasonable update and that was Monday just past

What is there to update without an announcement or are we getting one tomorrow morning ?

I submitted about 6 questions to Talga on the weekend to be addressed in the webinar tomorrow. Hopefully, Dino man touches on a few of them in his presentation and leaves more time in his Q&A this time.

If there is to be an announcement tomorrow ahead of the webinar, then clearly there is no leaky ship with the SP down today.

Solid investigative work Monkey! I also believe, happy to proven wrong tomorrow, that we must be receiving an announcement before the Webinar tomorrow otherwise it’s almost a wasted day in Head Office

We had the same type of speculation last Webinar following a quarterly report. Last time we didn't have an update prior to the webinar either. There could still come one in, but i don't expect one. It looks like a webinar explaining the quarterly report in video format with questions and responses possible. Its a good thing, but I don't expect announcements. Looking forward to it :)

I'm wondering if the ACC agreement might become binding. I'm sure MT would want that before the AGM

I'm not holding my breath on that one. It certainly looks like they want to close, but past experience made me cautious regarding non-binding agreements.

I'm agree Semmel. From memory, last time out our 10 year old moderator hinted the webinars would become a regular thing each quarter. I'm anticipating a quick skim over the quarterly, hopefully a much longer Q&A, and with a little luck some further breadcrumbs from MT. It was great on the ASX Investor chat when he dropped the 1000% current demand number (over planned production). Maybe he'll elaborate on the Tal-si near term commercialisation he dropped - guessing this is one of TentCity's questions 👌

Who is the “10 year old moderator”?

There you go @WheresTheMonkey - got that announcement before the webinar!

Not the one I think many of us were predicting - but a positive development/confirmation on timing nevertheless given permits is the one item that Talga has least control over.

Offtakes and financing are well and truly in hand in my opinion.

Yeah I didn't see that coming.

It kind of jolts one to the reality that this is no sure thing in let's say March. I don't doubt the permits will eventually be granted but how long will the wait be ?

Not sure anyone has the answer to that - but I think the political and macro backdrop to get the necessary approvals are as favourable as they’ll ever be; so timing is perfect to give Talga the best possible chance to get the approval over the line.

Yeah I agree with that but I fear things will be stalled somehow by an appeals process.

But then seconds later I think of how incredibly advanced TLG is in getting upto speed with 60+ staff on board in Sweden, the pilot plant going full pelt, then non binding offtakes, positive noises from local authorities, the best "secret sauce" in Talnode C, the best legal team in Sweden in charge of the permitting and I can only stop and think.............................................MT must have been given some powerful positive whispers from various authorities that everything will be OK

Have a quick skim of judicial notes re recent H2 Green Steel permit granting. States any appeal would not hold up operations. I'm confident we'd get the same conditions 🤞

100! Add in recent stakeholder feedback and precedent from other permit grants I think we're in a very strong position. I don't believe Sami concerns alone are enough, particularly given TLG's willingness to address such.
Maybe I have my rose coloured TLG glasses on, so what am I missing here? 🤷‍♂️

OK so I didn't hear all of it as my car reception was dropping in and out on the motorway between Sydney and Newcastle plus the distortion in audio caused a lot of echo for me but not alot of new stuff at the beginning.

A bit on the unlikelihood of taking on a third party supplier if permits are not forthcoming but certainly no enthusiasm from MT on that and rightly so considering the probable need to then requalify.

Anything else stand out Gals and Guys ?

About to jump on a plane, so sorry for quick reply- but thought it was all good positive language, Mark seemed ‘On Form’ Positive on permitting and got the sense there is plenty of positive news flow coming (someone with more time can maybe fill in the details)
I’m happy I added through the SPP raise and will continue to add on any weakness in the lead up to the court decision

Happy to be wrong on the announcement 😊 I'll listen/watch the webcast on the weekend, I'm squarely boxed in by work and family until then.
