First mention of the deal. At first I stumbled over the first sentence a bit. I can only hope that it is an oversight and not intentional.

Chilean Sociedad Química y Minera (SQM) has signed an agreement with the exploration company Talga Group for the development of the Vittangi graphite mine in Kiruna. SQM is considered the world's largest lithium mining company.
Vittangi is a graphite mine, but Talga Group also wants to develop the lithium resources in the area through its subsidiary Aero.
Through the agreement, SQM can take over 70 percent of the shareholding in Aero and finance up to $19 million in exploration funds over a seven-year period.
Mark Thompson, CEO of Talga, believes that the collaboration with SQM can give the company an opportunity to build a European lithium supply hub.
SQM International Lithium division's CEO, Mark Fones, says the deal with Talga is part of the company's efforts to build a global and competitive lithium asset portfolio.
"Expanding into new and promising jurisdictions, such as Sweden, has been a strategic goal for us, and the partnership with Talga, which has demonstrated expertise in the region, further strengthens it," says Fones.
SQM began expanding lithium exploration outside Chile, to Australia, three years ago.
