Thanks Gero! I make this to an infinity loop
@teilenswert thank you for your initiative!
I think it's the EQS.Is that the interior of a Mercedes EQXX (with BrainChip onboard) that I spy?
It’s nice to see some cross-pollination marketing (even if unintentional) between Talga and BrainChip. Or is it unintentional? I expect they both soon WILL co-exist in the same car. And probably many more!
Ahh yes. I thought only the EQXX had a pillar-to-pillar display, but I see the EQS does also.I think it's the EQS.
That is the question! The WTM article mentions that Farasis is working with someone other than us on Si anodes.Ahh yes. I thought only the EQXX had a pillar-to-pillar display, but I see the EQS does also.
Makes more sense to have an EQS parked at an airport. Cheaper and more readily available. And it will also contain BrainChip in due time.
I wouldn‘t mind either car, especially if equiped with Talnode-Si batteries, when they are available.
Hopefully this will change in the near future, there appears IMO to be an increased willingness in the EU to act not just spot rhetoric on the mining / production of minerals. Time will tell…Sweden’s mining hurdles impede EU’s domestic battery push
Miners operating in Europe say prospects for getting projects underway look uncertain because of a lengthy permitting framework and fervent local opposition.www.mining.com
Unfortunately, I've spent too much time on it that I almost don't want to read it any more. But still, more attention is good. The article also speaks clear words. The producer of the greenest batteries in the world Northvolt in the self-proclaimed greenest country in the world has to buy its anodes from China. Because some are against using the greenest anodes in the world because they want to protect the environment. Does that sound absurd? It is.Sweden’s mining hurdles impede EU’s domestic battery push

The picture of the Berlin train station is the breadcrumb. Talga will deliver their product by train right into a well-known factory. Of course, imho.Musk was at a conference in Stavanger at the 29th, I assume he flew in directly from the US. If they had a chance to meet in Berlin, then probably just for a quick handshake. But you never know...
To fight off opposition is the main reason why I, some time ago, posted that Talga need to speed up their Talnode-Si development. They even stated its development would be expedited in a recent report and I asked about this in a webinar with Talga. I think the answer was non-comical though. That is the question! The WTM article mentions that Farasis is working with someone other than us on Si anodes.
=> However, the entire collaboration with Farasis and MB is in question. The construction plans for the plant in Bitterfeld have collapsed and the contract has been terminated by mutual agreement. MB itself says that Farasis remains a strategic partner, but at the same time MB says: "The supply of the Mercedes-EQ-Offensive is ensured, for which Mercedes-Benz has built up a well-functioning and very stable set of suppliers".
So we don't know how MB will do it. It is not impossible.
The article also states that some Talnode C has reached advanced qualification levels with a number of parties. Gradually it becomes exciting but before that it is called once again to hold tight next week. If Mitsui says goodbye they must have serious reasons. Everything speaks for a cooperation and extension. Hopefully we will get an explanation in the case of separation. I guess we wouldn't have fallen with LKAB so far with SP if the investors had known the LKAB explanation. This was not a secret but we had to fish it out of the local press over the months. So
I was with other topic on the exact same path today. And Mitsui is represented via an import export branch in Germany but in Düsseldorf I guess. With everything else from you I go 100% with you.I just checked Mitsui Europe’s Office locations - thinking that maybe Mark was meeting with Mitsui in Berlin, given the timing coincided with the agreement to extend the MOU.
Turns out Mitsui don’t even have an office in Germany, which i found interesting given it is the economic engine room of Europe. https://www.mitsui.com/eu/en/company/location/index.html
Therefore, it does lend credence to Mark meeting with Tesla or other Auto OEMs that Talga may be in ‘advanced’ negotiations with on offtakes and/or financing options.
Glad to hear Mark will be back in Europe again shortly for the Court visit to Vittangi! I was slightly concerned he was MIA and leaving all the heavy lifting to Martin Philipps. I’m enjoying seeing him out and about and posting regularly on Twitter.
We may have to call an Ambulance for Semmel if Mark posts a selfie one day with Elon Musk shaking hands
Ah good to know, thanks Cosors - I was very surprised that Mitsui don’t have any reference to their German office on the website.I was with other topic on the exact same path today.
