BRN Discussion Ongoing

A few days ago these guys / girls uploaded a KWS tutorial and code for those technically inclined to see what goes into creating something like this.

Dislike the AI generated voice myself but is what it is.

Hey akida keyword spotting demo: a deep dive tutorial

This tutorial provides a comprehensive guide to building and deploying a "hey akida" keyword spotting demo using brainchip's akida processor. we'll cover everything from data preparation and model training to inference on the akida device.

It is the last sentence that interests me for BRN and their model opportunities

Intel (INTC.O), opens new tab reported an annual loss of $19 billion in 2024, its first since 1986.
In the near term, Tan aims to improve performance at its manufacturing arm, Intel Foundry, which makes chips for other design companies such as Microsoft (MSFT.O), opens new tab and Amazon (AMZN.O), opens new tab, by aggressively wooing new customers, according to the people.
It will also restart plans to produce chips that power AI servers and look to areas beyond servers in several areas such as software, robotics and AI foundation models.

With that renewed focus we are positioned to benefit

This from inlets website:

I recall the Intel annual presentation where they showcased the 4 or 5 chips they planned to offer future customers, All were reported to be compatible with selected IP partners, we were on that list.

Hello everyone!

Unbelievable! I have just received a message and will try to summarize it for you.!!!! I believe this is huge!!!

[Holo-Transmission begins]

A distorted figure in black armor appears. Heavy breathing echoes through the room.

“It would be foolish to be surprised. The New Order decided long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, to integrate BrainChip’s Akida into all our devices and droids. Your futile attempts to analyze the market are insignificant.”

Behind him, a door hisses open. A nervous Imperial officer steps forward.

Officer:

“My Lord, the latest shipment has arrived. Our supplier delivered it in less than twelve parsecs.”

The black individual turns, crosses his arms, and nods.

“Excellent. The Empire does not tolerate delays. Akida is the future – and resistance is futile.”

[Holo-Transmission ends]

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???? 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

The timing is good with Mr Lewis mentioning BRN now have a good range of models available.

From the Tata Exsli 2023/24 Integrated Annual Report:
P71 Transportation:
" Software Defined Vehicle Platform is a key trend in the automotive industry, with OEMs investing in developing in-house SDV platforms.
We are now embedded in the SDV programs of 5 global OEMs, including a landmark multi-year large deal for SDV from one of the leading Automotive OEMs."
Context: Page 6 of the Annual Report:
" Partnership with BrainChip for driving Akida technology into medical devices and industrial applications leveraging its superior AI performance on the edge"
Tata find AKIDA technology superior for AI at the Edge. IMO under those circumstances it can only be us for Auto. Why would they knowingly go for an inferior product.
5 global OEMs'. Impressive.

Its amazing how the downrampers over on the crapper argue that the future BRN has with Tata is not relevant for the market.
5 OEM's including a 5 year deal with a leading OEM and Tata openly says AKIDA AI at the Edge technology is superior...... and that is on top of Tata's commitment to driving AKIDA into health and Industrial.

Reading the posts from 'thick as bricks downrampers' on the crapper the below extract from the possible US listing ann is put into perspective.
" US technology sector investors are generally more familiar with AI technology companies and have a deeper understanding of valuation methodologies for emerging technology companies like BrainChip."

I find it quite funny you come over here and cry every time the down rampers on crap are giving you a hard time, LOL.

You have a few options:

1: Stop posting over there.

2: Put all the repeatedly negative posters on ignore (I did). Some of them are negative for mainly trading purposes, they actually have no interest in the company as such but swing trade the stock. Not a bad idea actually, but I decided to be an investor myself and are still buying when I can.
Others are extremely bitter because they were likely forced to sell at a loss and their getting rich quickly dream went down the drain.

3: Man up and take it on the chin, ignore them. That would actually be the best if everybody completely ignored them.

Appears this young bloke is looking to fire up neuromorphic. Ex Intel working on Loihi previously.

Has tagged us and MB and Prophesee amongst others. Wonder if we bothered hooking up?

I also see a comment to the more recent post (2nd below) by old Rain AI agreeing and having also had a chat to an apparent mate of ours in Luca Verre at Prophesee.

This is my last week at Intel working on Loihi and I'm definitely sad to be leaving such an awesome team. But I'm also more excited than ever for what might come next. I'll be using my period of independence to kick off something new, code named Project Phasor! I see a number of structural gaps and inefficiencies in the broader #Neuromorphic and #NeuroAI ecosystems that could be solved better together. I bet many of you see them too. I'll elaborate more in the coming weeks about the ideas I've been throwing around in personal discussions, but I'm interested in hearing everyone else's ideas too. What major gaps and inefficiencies do YOU see? Bonus: What symbolism do you see in the attached logo for Project Phasor? Check out the homepage to sign up for the mailing list, join in, and help steer the direction of #projectphasor: https://lnkd.in/gzgrF4fe Stay tuned! #RhymeNeuromorphic: "...From neuroscience to device physics. Co-design is key for neuromorphics. Analog and digital and software too. Specialist? Generalist? The field needs you..."

Neuromorphs: After Tuesday, it’s all hands on deck! #Neuromorphic co-design has too much friction. Project Phasor will accelerate our iteration speed – but we need YOUR help with the 3-phase strategy below! We already have a lot of momentum. Join us in less than 20 hours to find out which company offered their software stack to bootstrap the compiler and VM efforts. (Or join the discord and mailing list to find out now ;) Meeting details: https://lnkd.in/gBXp_ipZ February is going to be a month of outreach. Join the kickoff presentation to understand what we are about and how you can help us with our 3-phase strategy: 1) Convince users of neuromorphic compute of our vision: Mercedes-Benz AG, PROPHESEE, Sony, Canon Inc., iniVation, Meta, Snap Inc., algorithms researchers. 2) Leverage that buy-in to get more producers of neuromorphic compute on board: Intel Corporation, SynSense, Innatera, GrAI Matter Labs, BrainChip , Non-Von, SpiNNcloud Systems, others. 3) Find a home for open governance of the shared compiler and VMs. Open Compute Project Foundation? MLCommons? EDGE AI FOUNDATION? The Khronos Group? There’s more, mostly captured in this spreadsheet: https://lnkd.in/gjYJHmjp Hope to see you all tomorrow! Congrats on the great run with Loihi, Brian. And great idea! I was speaking recently with Luca Verre about the missing pieces in the broader neurormorphic narrative, and am thinking about ways to unify the ecosystem. Would love to chat about it more sometime

And Sean gave disbelievers and downrampers a big wack with a padded sledgehammer 'in a nice way' in his contemplating a US listing ann.
The quote below from that ann is Sean's kind way of saying a lot of Aussie tech investors are dummies.
Its a classic.
" US technology sector investors are generally more familiar with AI technology companies and have a deeper understanding of valuation methodologies for emerging technology companies like BrainChip."
More familiar = Aussie tech dummies
Deeper understanding = Aussies in general are completely stupid when it comes to Tech
Guess that puts us in the top echelon of smart Aussie tech investors.
I can tell you Sean means every word of it.

Why do you feel the need to take offence.
This is a forum.
Treat my posts like you suggest i take downramer posts. Take my posts like a man and put me on ignore. Can't have it both ways.
Abuse, putdowns and repetitious posting is their stock in trade and trade aimed at intimidating posters. They want positive posters to either stop posting altogether or stop replying.
When i get sick of replying to a new down ramper i put them on ignore. I have a huge list.
A number of them post under different alias and bring them out when it suits.

move over VW sausage, I have more exciting news just came in! -

Actually, those “exciting news” you shared with us are totally wurst to me.
(It basically means ‘I don’t care’ or ‘it doesn’t make a difference’, and yes, that’s a really common expression in German, even though I’d personally use the variant wurscht in this context.)

Neither does Dana LeVan provide any source at all for his claim that “Mercedes-Benz & BrainChip are moving from R&D to commercial deployment”, nor does he have any connection to either company as far as we can tell.

One thing I was able to find out about him, though, is that he is the former CMO of Wevorce (“New Agreements. Peaceful. Relationships. Skip the courthouse, keep the kindness”). On their website, where he promotes himself as an excellent pick for “private judge”, he describes himself as being highly skilled at Divorce Coaching, so our company may want to save his contact details in case one day a joint partnership goes awry… 🤣 (https://www.wevorce.com/blog/team/dana-levan/)

Note that he is now the CMO of CrowdSmart.ai (https://www.crowdsmart.ai/about-crowdsmart/), whose “patented human-interactive AI helps groups share and refine their intelligence with curated insights to generate trusted and predictive strategies, plans, and decisions.”

My guess is that his post was largely AI-generated and he unfortunately failed to verify what the LLM came up with.

👉 Next-gen chips (Intel Loihi 2, BrainChip Akida) show 175x energy efficiency gains
👉 Real-world traction: Mercedes-Benz & BrainChip are moving from R&D to commercial deployment
👉 Scalability: Neuromorphic chips make previously cost-prohibitive AI applications viable

just came in 31minutes ago!

Let me see if i can add the link properly this time?

By Dana LeVan

By the way, when you shared that paragraph from Dana LeVan’s LinkedIn post, why did you cut off the header that reads “Neuromorphic Hardware: The Long-Term Play (3-5 years)”? Didn’t you consider it important to also share that timeframe with us?

68FE513C-B83D-4590-A0C6-CE8A221A6321.jpeg

Somebody asked Dana LeVan about his claim re MB & BRN on LinkedIn, and he cryptically responded with a quote. 🤔

Is it meant to be his own reply, which seems weird given the quotation marks and the fact he himself made that very claim in the first place?

Or was this quote taken from the Trump fan boys’ podcast he referred to earlier in his post (without sharing which episode it was, though)?

I noticed that he also gave Patrick Pasternacki’s second reply a 👍🏻, in which he was informed that the Vision EQXX concept car would never go commercial, but he still didn’t clear up the confusion. His self-description on https://www.wevorce.com/blog/team/dana-levan/ as a “passionate and empathetic communicator who untangles complex circumstances” doesn’t exactly shine through here…

DCEB1CDF-6EA3-49C5-9DE4-D74D3CB44556.jpeg

Anyway, not a trustworthy source at all, if you ask me…
I much prefer to listen to the horse’s mouth: “… we’re currently looking into Neuromorphic Computing as part of a research project. Depending on the further development progress, integration could become possible within a timeframe of 5 to 10 years.” (Mercedes-Benz on LinkedIn, January 29, 2025)

Manny the trick is very simple, if you feel stock is at throw away price keep on buying, convince your friends and relatives to buy brainchip. Hopefully the market will realise their mistake but in between if team brainchip offer more shares to LDA to sell.
The shorters will be again on top but you should not lose heart keep investing and who knows you will be the next multi millionaire.
