I believe the reason is a completely different one, namely one of a religious nature: It so happens that “Akida” very closely resembles a term in Islamic faith, and I presume that’s why the Omani company founders won’t use it for marketing purposes in the Arabic-speaking world.

I assume as usual neuromorphic on chip learning AKIDA) wins out.
I suspect Onsor has quickly worked out the value of AKIDA and is acting quickly to get 1st mover neuromorohic product advantage.
I note Onsor also have a partnership with Aysad shipping and introducing sensors and IOT on their ships. It's a fair bet they will be using AKIDA.
Aysad is a huge ME logistics business. They are also involved in public service activities such as postal express activities and people movement eg buses.
