With Sean's HP background this is one to watch.

It wasn't a good looking them closing down that significant investment. If this was true I would have thought they would buy it while their car division is still up and merge them. Taking all that is better from the acquisition.

If they buy it now it sends a clear message they failed and someone does it better.

I’m pretty sure one of the posters here wrote this article and asked us for our comments. I can’t remember who but I feel like it was one of our German posters 🤔

Here, but maybe I misinterpreted and they just found a good article that explained in simple terms suitable for their parents 🤔

Hi JoMo68,

no, you didn’t misinterpret it - it was indeed @Berlinforever himself/herself who wrote this excellent summary six months ago, as also evident from this recent post:

So....would we expect, that it they get traction and their smart bins in locations and if still going to use Akida, that we should see a formal agreement sooner than later? :)

The 10c deposit scheme in Australia for containers is gathering momentum with all states and territories implementing the scheme. This interesting article highlights where the opportunity lies in collecting more. Circle 8 Clean Technologies has identified these same opportunities and will target our smart bins in these location from 2024!

Hi @DerAktienDude,

From the articles I've read so far, it would imply that KAIST are using neuromorphic technology, which doesn't necessarily mean they developed that component of it.

Here are three examples.

And then there's also Tony Lewis's previous comment on Linkedin.

Finally figured out how to attach the article! We’re referenced in Box 4. A great journal to appear in.

Samsung, is certainly a big spicy cabbage, but some prefer fruit..

I think you're being a bit dramatic, saying we're screwed, if we are not in with them.

Yes, they are a huge player, but they don't control or dominate the World product markets.

For example..

"Apple has overtaken Samsung as the world's top smartphone seller, ending the Korean tech firm's 12-year run as industry leader. The iPhone took the top spot in 2023 with 234.6m units sold, according to figures from the International Data Corporation (IDC), overtaking Samsung's 226.6m units"
17 Jan 2024

Are you saying, that if we got in with Apple, or some other Big players, but not Samsung, that we may as well pack up and go home?..

Of course no guarantees anywhere, but your arguments don't make sense, in my opinion.

I'm not saying you can't have one..
It's not necessarily about smartphones. They're interesting too. Don't get me wrong, but I'm worried about the products of the road map 2024.
For the first time these will be ultra low power, including all the other good stuff.
Since they create their own chips, this is where the danger lies if they caught up with us.
This is what I'm talking about: https://www.koreatechtoday.com/samsung-unveils-2024-generative-ai-roadmap-for-home-appliances/

We do have a history with Samsung.

Anil Mankar, cheekily thanked Samsung, for giving them the DVS? camera to use, in the first demonstration of the now famous (to us anyway) Tiger identification demo.
Just before the infamous 100 million shares at 3 cents, to that shark mob (Royal something?) who sold most of them at 4.5 cents 🤣..

So there is a good chance, that our tech will be somewhere in their offerings.

The other thing is, that the Company (Sean) has stated, that when the dust settles, they want to be one of the 3 major players, in the Edge A.I. space.

It's possible that Samsung, may be one of the other 3, in the end..
If that's the case, I think they will have got there, by "playing" with our tech first.

I believe we have the technology, the people, enough irons in the fire and a strong enough ecosystem, that we will prevail through the inevitable heated competition, in this space.

Would be nice to see some meaty IP deals drop this year, for sure.

If we are not apart of this then we are in deep pop imo as all the talk to date about our 3 year lead in Neurmorphic and the discussion of BRN and SNN uniqueness will be thrown out the door and I will be very disappointed. I do think we may never know the details of many partners however explosive growth this year may or should be coming from this new product as it goes on sale 2 quarter this year.
I very much doubt they have invented their own working version of AKIDA If they did they would be shouting it out loud from roof tops all over the world.
At least they would be working with AKIDA.

I agree, and would there not be pending patents available for review? A foot note or even a reference?... something? A scrap of paper in a dust bin? @Diogenese ?

If someone had written that about me, I would have used the :ROFLMAO: emoji and said yes, my wife has the patience of a saint.

Then I would've moved on and enjoyed my day. But hey maybe I have tree bark for skin and not much bothers me. It wasn't to be nasty, it was all about his style of posting and the manner in which he responds to posts he doesn't agree with or doesn't like.

Anyway if FF took offence I apologise, or to anyone else. Lets all drink a cup of concreate and harden up a little huh?
Just a thought, have you considered his reaction from his side of the fence?
He has generously shared great research and sublime viewpoints while the SP was being destroyed and has therefore, had to deal with the most abhorrent personal attacks from posters some of whom are in this forum.
I don’t know FF, more’s the pity, but if you can truly say you understand why, after years of providing this research, that he may be a little miffed then I question your judgement and intention.
You don’t have to like him but shame on you for your lack of empathy

BTW, I wasn’t being rude about parents/older people (query the sad face reply). The author said they wrote the article as if explaining to their parents.

Yep,
thought so
Ever had any empathy for the people that have tried to put their view across and had to read the masters words trying to belittle them because he's not in agreement? No, thought not. Like I said cup of concrete buddy. (Or they /them? Sorry if your pronoun is something else)
