Bravo
If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
How cool is this? Here's an interview with Professor Steve Furber who is involved in the Human Brain Project and has worked within the focus area of neuromorphic computing on SpiNNaker.
This podcast was published 2 days ago.
At 8.30 mins Prof. Furber says something like this:
"There's been this huge transformation of the world of artificial intelligence with neural networks coming to the fore. And now there's a strong sense that neuromophics is positioned to merge with mainstream AI and provide potential solutions to the huge energy requirements of the standard AI solutions. So that in the future we're probably going to see far more neuromorphics in engineering applications, particularly where energy efficiency is a major criteria in the choice of architecture and design".
