Don’t believe anyone has posted this yet. Brainchip mentioned in the key players list ( I am sure not a surprise for all of us here :))

Hi @Jchandel good find.
This article lists the key players, and BRN is well and truly rubbing shoulders with the big boys now for all to see, there's no down playing this anymore.

According to Next Move Strategy Consulting the market for artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to show strong growth in the coming decade. Its value of nearly 100 billion U.S. dollars is expected to grow twentyfold by 2030, up to nearly two trillion U.S. dollars ($2,000,000,000,000) The AI market covers a vast amount of industries.

The Global Neuromorphic Computing Market Size is expected to reach USD 8,275,900,000 U.S. dollars by 2030, at a CAGR of 85.73% during the forecast period 2021 to 2030.

As the old master used to say, if BRN captures just 1% of the market.
1% of AI market 2030 =$200 billion
1% of Neuromorphic market 2030 =$82,759,000

Happy days are just around the bend, my opinion only.

I agree, we are in THE growth market of the next decade which is soon going to be gushing money, with a unique solution that no one else has but many will need, we have a product that has almost limitless applications, we have a wall of patents, we have partners signing up now on a regular basis to develop products with us, we have 2 of the biggest chip manufacturers in the world who have already signed IP Agreements and are busily making products and we have the likes of Mercedes publicly endorsing us. That sounds like a pretty good launch pad for a business for the next decade.! Anyone that really believes we will never sell Akida or who can only see red flags - feel free to reach out to me and sell me your shares - because I can see a chequered flag in the distance at the finish line (a flag hanging with dividend cheques that is). In my opinion, it's just the waiting game now. I've got a lot on the line with this company, I could have sold out at $2 and made millions but I didn't because I am GOING FOR GOLD with this and you don't get a chance to go for gold like this and make really big returns in the market every day, every week or even every decade. This is still a rare opportunity. Hang in there, it's a hell of a ride, but it's all about where we end up not where we came from AKIDA THEY-NEED-YA and when they discover you they won't want to live without you.

BrainChip teams for grid AI cyber threat detection

eeNews Europe - BrainChip teams for grid AI cyber threat detection https://lnkd.in/gNAiuqqw via Nick Flaherty

BrainChip has teamed up with security researchers Quantum Ventura to use the Akida neuromorphic AI technology to develop new cyber threat-detection tools for the energy grid.

Quantum Ventura in the US is creating cybersecurity applications for the US Department of Energy under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Programme. The program is focused on “Cyber threat-detection using neuromorphic computing,” which aims to develop an advanced approach to detect and prevent cyberattacks on computer networks and critical infrastructure using the event-driven neural network.

Event-driven, or neuromorphic, AI, is inherently lower power than conventional neural network accelerators, providing energy efficiency with high performance for chip designers to provide AI on battery-operated or fan-less embedded, edge devices.

The grid is a key vulnerability and there are several projects looking at new ways to make it more secure at the edge.

The Akida neural processor and AI IP can find unknown, repeating patterns in vast amounts of noisy data, which is an asset in cyber threat detection. Once Akida learns what normal network traffic patterns look like, it can detect malware, attack signatures, and other types of malicious activity. Akida has the ability to learn on device in a secure fashion, without the need for cloud retraining, allowing it to quickly learn new attack patterns and adapt to emerging threats.

BrainChip IP supports incremental learning, on-chip learning, and high-speed inference with unsurpassed performance in micro watt to milli-watt power budgets, ideal for advanced AI/ML devices such as intelligent sensors, medical devices, high-end video-object detection, and ADAS/autonomous systems.

“Neuromorphic computing is an ideal technology for threat detection because of its small size and power, accuracy, and in particular, its ability to learn and adapt, since attackers are constantly changing their tactics,” said Srini Vasan, President and CEO of Quantum Ventura Inc. “We believe that our solution incorporating BrainChip’s Akida will be a breakthrough for defending against cyber threats and address additional applications as well.”

“This project with the Department of Energy offers an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how Akida opens up new possibilities in cybersecurity, including the ability to run complex AI algorithms at the edge, reducing the dependency on the cloud” said Rob Telson, Vice President of Ecosystems & Partnerships at BrainChip. “We are excited about the progress that Quantum Ventura are making with BrainChip in this project which is extremely vital to the safety of the nation’s infrastructure.”

PhD Studentship: Neuromorphic Devices for Optoelectronic Neural Networks

University of Southampton - SEMS Research Group

Qualification Type:PhD
Location:Southampton
Funding amount:From £21,110 For UK students, Tuition Fees and a stipend, tax-free, per annum, for 4 years.
Hours:Full Time
Placed On:15th May 2023
Closes:23rd June 2023

https://www.mindscdt.southampton.ac.uk/apply#how_to_apply
Project title: Neuromorphic Devices for Optoelectronic Neural Networks
Supervisory Team: Dimitra Georgiadou, Frederic Gardes
Project description
Neuromorphic engineering is poised to revolutionise information technologies by developing electronic devices that can realistically emulate biological neural networks. The aim of this project is to develop a new form of neuromorphic systems that merge photonic, electronic and ionic effects, bringing new prospects for in-memory computing and artificial visual memory applications. This will be achieved upon developing photoelectric devices that are created using nanofabrication and multi-functional materials, employing low-cost processes compatible with large-area flexible substrates. You will develop, characterise and optimise single optoelectronic devices and arrays that emulate biological synapses in the human visual system, capable of detecting (in analogy to the retina in the eye) and memorising or even processing images (like the visual cortex in the brain).
This novel electronic technology can be used in various computer vision applications such as Internet of Things devices for visual data communication, human/environment detection/tracking, Augmented/Virtual Reality, etc. Furthermore, the manufacturing of these devices and systems relies on low-temperature processes and can thus be integrated on flexible substrates, which paves the way to incorporation of AI functionalities to wearable devices.
You will have the opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team as part of the Flexible Nanoelectronics Lab in ECS and in the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC), and to be trained and work in the world-class facilities of the Zepler Institute.
If you wish to discuss any details of the project informally, please contact Dr Dimitra Georgiadou, SEMS Research Group, Email: d.georgiadou@soton.ac.uk

Stable Diffusion typically runs in the cloud via a web browser, and is driven by data center servers with big power budgets and a ton of silicon horsepower. However, the image above was generated by Stable Diffusion running on a smartphone, without a connection to that cloud data center and running in airplane mode, with no connectivity whatsoever. And the AI model rendering it was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile chip on a device that operates at under 7 watts or so.
I can recall Anil like that post from Qualcomm on linked in. That was around 2 months ago. Someone posted here.

I am the first to put my hand up for a mailchimp mess up, but it's still frustrating to see these little things constantly pop up for us 😳 This is definitely not a negative sentiment toward what we've got, where we're going etc.. But when you're an AI company, it feels your digital comms mean more. When your preferred method of communication is email and socials, again, it feels like these need to be right.
They've obviously replicated the previous email and nor changed the header?
I'm all in on BrainChip, which is where the amateur hour moments like this feel particularly hard at times 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s not managements job to drive 5km under the speed limit or stop prematurely at an intersection, it’s their job to drive professionally and optimally. If they sped and got a ticket, then in future do the limit, don’t drive under it. This is why they earn the big salaries, this is whey they were engaged in the first place. Many other companies on the ASX have zero issues announcing partnerships - there’s literally a mechanism for this… it’s called a non-price sensitive announcement.

As an investor, it isn’t my job to check the website for updates, it’s the companies to ensure I’m made aware of that information. This is done via the ASX, and distributed by my trading platform. The system was designed to work this was and every other company on the ASX runs this way - why are we any different?

Agree with the caveat..

A lot of grey areas there unfortunately, so if the news is not $$ material at the present time there is no obligation for the company to release it.. BRN is choosing the safe road to avoid unwanted red flag issues already presented historically for false starts on commercial success.. And it suits their NDA related narrative.. So we’ll only see Ann’s related to financials, parents, new tech, or new IP deals, unless a customer specifically releases that information publicly, that is “material/market sensitive”, then BRN is obligated to release it via the ASX..

They could release all media related and website related newsflow, and the ASX would likely present that information as non price sensitive or ask many to and fro questions to clarify all the information..
