Holding onto what I've got
Just a wild thought, we know Brainchip annouced they've join into Intel Foundry services. Would this trigger intel foundry or better yet the parent 'Intel' needing to sign a NDA so as not so siphon off akida tech into theirs (as they may be privy to some secret sauce), at that point you may as well go the full testing phase and then use it?

Well actually, Synsense have two neuromorphic chips; "Speck" is a vision processor and "Xylo" is an audio processor.

Unless I'm wrong, previous articles have only ever referred to BMW using Speck for vision processing functions.

I believe the "Xylo" chip is NOT mentioned anywhere in relation to BMW.

This might have something to do with the AKIDA technology from BrainChip which made the “Hey, Mercedes” voice control system in the Mercedes EQXX five to ten times more efficient than conventional voice control.

It's highly likely IMO that BMW are not intending on using "Xylo" because it doesn't pack as much grunt as AKIDA has proven it's capable of delivering.

Hi Bravo,

The attraction of SPECK may be that it comes with built-in DVS camera, but it has a small brain, something they could no doubt remedy in Son-of-SPECK. Or maybe that's the right number of neurons for the job. Akida is over-engineered so it can deal with all eventualities.

Learning to the Top 🕵‍♂️
My view on the Engineering Fees, is that BRN aren't charging the full costs to those selected Co's, just so as to get their foot in the door and keep the door and communications open indefinitely.
In my culture their a saying;

" Release the shrimp to catch the prawn"

And totally agree, when starting a new business (SNN), got to give the discount to get the customer, before making profit.

Senior Scientist, Neuromorphic Computing and Spiking Neural Network, TCS Research

Emergence of small satellites for earth observation missions has opened up new horizons for space research but at the same time posed newer challenges of limited power and compute resource arising out of the size & weight constraints imposed by these satellites. In our paper, titled "Low Power & Low Latency Cloud Cover Detection in Small Satellites Using On-board Neuromorphic Processors", accepted at #IJCNN 2023, a premier AI conference, we have shown how a multistage CNN trained on multispectral Earth observation images for Cloud Cover Detection, can be converted into an SNN using the CNN2SNN conversion toolkit of Brainchip. Further, the converted SNN running on AKIDA neuromorphic platform can achieve 95.46% accuracy while power consumption and latency are found to be upto 230x & 7x more efficient than the CNN running on a Jetson TX2.

“ A neuromorphic chip inspired by the human mind? It seems like a concept from a sci-fi novel, yet it's the perfect core for our cutting-edge space robot!

In 2025, we plan to launch our repair robot to orbit. Akin to the skilled droids from Star Wars, it will be repairing a spacecraft. Our robot needs an AI-driven brain that surpasses the limitations of current technology to perform complex repair tasks in the unforgiving vacuum of space.

We needed something exceptional.

We teamed up with BrainChip , the pioneers behind the neuromorphic Akida AI chip. This cutting-edge chip enables our robots to perceive and interact with their surroundings in space, learning in the process.

Our robot's brain, powered by this groundbreaking technology, is set to launch into orbit in January 2024 aboard the Space Machines Company spacecraft. Once there, we will refine our robot's vision system, training with a video feed directly from the satellite's cameras.

Working with the Brainchip team on this mission was a great pleasure! They supported us along the way, providing their chips and engineering advice.

In the coming weeks, we'll tell you more about the chip's capabilities and what we had to do to space-qualify our system.

Stay in touch.

I have to confess that im coming at an age where i write myself notes but i have a bit of a diary addiction where i have more then one diary for the same year be it like a daily diary or a weekly diary and then there is my phone diary. But then in my phone disry i write advance notes to remind me on the day why i wrote it such as this one below!

At the time it appears 25 April i read something so interesting that it provoked me to jot in my phone diary with not one but two exclamations and i don't even own Tesla shares. Now why did i do this!? Time will tell if my suspicions are founded and in which note pad im referrimg to !

lol I vaguely remember thinking it was worthy of me diarising this event. 😁 And yes i wrote it as i believe it relates to brainchip down the track. my opinion and im sticking to what ever my thoughts were on 25th april! 🤣

7. LAGUNA HILLS, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 6, 2023 / BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX:BRN)(OTCQX:BRCHF)(ADR:BCHPY), the world's first commercial producer of ultra-low power, fully digital, neuromorphic AI IP, today announced the second generation of its Akida™ platform that drives extremely efficient and intelligent edge devices for the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) solutions and services market that is expected to be $1T+ by 2030. This hyper-efficient yet powerful neural processing system, architected for embedded Edge AI applications, now adds efficient 8-bit processing to go with advanced capabilities such as time domain convolutions and vision transformer acceleration, for an unprecedented level of performance in sub-watt devices, taking them from perception towards cognition.

The second-generation of Akida now includes Temporal Event Based Neural Nets (TENN) spatial-temporal convolutions that supercharge the processing of raw time-continuous streaming data, such as video analytics, target tracking, audio classification, analysis of MRI and CT scans for vital signs prediction, and time series analytics used in forecasting, and predictive maintenance. These capabilities are critically needed in industrial, automotive, digital health, smart home and smart city applications. The TENNs allow for radically simpler implementations by consuming raw data directly from sensors - drastically reduces model size and operations performed, while maintaining very high accuracy. This can shrink design cycles and dramatically lower the cost of development.

Another addition to the second generation of Akida is Vision Transformers (ViT) acceleration, a leading edge neural network that has been shown to perform extremely well on various computer vision tasks, such as image classification, object detection, and semantic segmentation. This powerful acceleration, combined with Akida's ability to process multiple layers simultaneously and hardware support for skip connections, allows it to self-manage the execution of complex networks like RESNET-50 completely in the neural processor without CPU intervention and minimizes system load.

The Akida IP platform has a unique ability to learn on the device for continuous improvement and data-less customization that improves security and privacy. This, combined with the efficiency and performance available, enable very differentiated solutions that until now have not been possible. These include secure, small form factor devices like hearable and wearable devices, that take raw audio input, medical devices for monitoring heart and respiratory rates and other vitals that consume only microwatts of power. This can scale up to HD-resolution vision solutions delivered through high-value, battery-operated or fanless devices enabling a wide variety of applications from surveillance systems to factory management and augmented reality to scale effectively.

"We see an increasing demand for real-time, on-device, intelligence in AI applications powered by our MCUs and the need to make sensors smarter for industrial and IoT devices," said Roger Wendelken, Senior Vice President in Renesas' IoT and Infrastructure Business Unit. "We licensed Akida neural processors because of their unique neuromorphic approach to bring hyper-efficient acceleration for today's mainstream AI models at the edge. With the addition of advanced temporal convolution and vision transformers, we can see how low-power MCUs can revolutionize vision, perception, and predictive applications in wide variety of markets like industrial and consumer IoT and personalized healthcare, just to name a few."

"Advancements in AI require parallel advancements in on-device learning capabilities while simultaneously overcoming the challenges of efficiency, scalability, and latency," said Richard Wawrzyniak, principal analyst at Semico Research. "BrainChip has demonstrated the ability to create a truly intelligent edge with Akida and moves the needle even more in terms of how Edge AI solutions are developed and deployed. 16. 2023 – TATA CONSULTING SERVICES CONTINUE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH BRAINCHIP AND RECEIVE CONGRATULATIONS ON THEIR SUCCESSFUL WORK BY ANIL MANKAR VIA SOCIAL MEDIA -

Sounak Dey

Thanks to all the co-authors Chetan Kadway Arijit Mukherjee Dr. Arpan Pal and a special thanks to Gilles Bézard and BrainChip without whose active support this work would not have been successful. Tata Consultancy Services - Research #SNN #NeuromorphicComputing

18. BRAINCHIP’S AKIDA TECHNOLOGY MAKES AUTONOMOUS SATELLITE REPAIR ROBOTS POSSIBLE AND Gilles BEZARD FROM BRAINCHIP’S FRENCH OFFICE SHARED ANT61s SOCIAL MEDIA POST:

Just to let everyone know that I love this company and love the technology.

I have voted against all bonuses for the following reasons.

In any business there are targets that are required to be met before individuals receive bonuses.

I’m not referring to No revenue at this stage because I believe that will come.

The first IP deal was signed by our previous CEO Lou DiNardo
1682760398978.png

Our second IP deal was signed by Peter
1682760429581.jpeg

I was not worried about seeing the lack of revenue in the latest 4C, however the lack of new IP deals and lack of progress information was quite disappointing.

We have not signed any new IP deals under our current CEO, which for me is a target not met to receive any bonuses.

I also have voted against the 8,000,000 shares for Manny as I believe someone has not dot their I’s and grossed their T’s with this one.

They need to be made accountable.

It was quite evident why the CEO released the latest podcast before the upcoming AGM.

Again I still love our company and our technology.

We need our sales team to start to convert lookers into buyers ASAP otherwise our competitors will overtake us and then we will become old tech very quickly.

My Mum is Dutch like Peter Van Der Made and she is a very good artist (pretty cliche I know) but I am shit. But she taught me that the devil is always in the details others may not appreciate. Here are the ice forming details I cling on to why BRN is good.

1. The orginal hire of Sean Hehir, PVDM was part of this process. He describes himself on Linkedin as a 'collaborative strategic alliance executive' which is what he brought to BRN so far. He has connections with the best of the best in Silicon Valley. But yes. He did say other things last AGM that he may reget. He cannot go back to his Silicon Valley Executive Network as a failure at Brainchip.

2. Every podcast. Remember the Dell one? The whole tech industry is in awe of Brainchip. NASA is as well. Surely our tech patents are worth more than this current SP.

3. The bloody Australian market. Dumb as dog shit and backwards looking. This doesn't help matters. It was an uphill battle from day dot for Brainchip here. I really don't give a shit about the SP if I believe in something. ASX have somehow buggered up the integration of blockchain into its platform unlike NASDAQ. Why? We are already playing against 12, one being the referee.

4. Rob Telson. He is still around and a dime a dozen. I remember his enthusiastic presentations before Hehir arrived. IMO, when Hehir arrived, he and the whole team toned the whole enthusiasm down. Why? Don't know, but I guess it is good.

I think if I vote against Hehir, I should also vote against Peter Van Der Made, He was CEO and was an integral part of the decision making team.

Thank you so much for Dingo, Diagonese (BB!), Tech and other old schoolers from HC to keep on posting.

Baconlover, I don't agree with the way FF targeted you unfairly and never said sorry in public (at least as far as I know). I also don't agree with your constant negative sentiment about price in particular.

FF, if you read this. you need to stick around when the times get tough. Because the tough don't go. You have done this at least two times before BRN started having negative sentiment. All the best anyway and you are missed.

All IMO, Not financial advice, cheers,

Sarcasm is my middle name.
Obviously a very smart person, increasing your holdings, my wife and I are in the process of selling our business, it's been dragging on for 3 months now. I was hoping that it would have settled by now, but alas it will be another 6 weeks.
Was also hoping to put in about 10% of sale price into more BRN shares while the SP trend was heading south, but reckon though, that in 6 weeks time the share price will be back over the dollar. Good luck to all.
