@Bravo you have done it again.
Wow, now that's an ecosystem to be a part of, just 1% of each of these massive companies will do just dandy.
I think you'll find that @Fact Finder has a patent on the 1%.

I've asked this question previously, but does anyone know if it's possible for Akida to go to a 3nm process?

View attachment 28158
Hi Van @Bravo ,

Akida is built in standard CMOS technology, so it can go as low as CMOS can go.

I think that, at 3 nm, they need to do special tricks with the transistor architecture:

"Samsung's 3 nm process is based on GAAFET (gate-all-around field-effect transistor) technology, a type of multi-gate MOSFET technology, while TSMC's 3 nm process will still use FinFET (fin field-effect transistor) technology,[10] despite TSMC developing GAAFET transistors.[11] Specifically, Samsung plans to use its own variant of GAAFET called MBCFET (multi-bridge channel field-effect transistor).[12] Intel's 3 nm process (dubbed "Intel 3" without the "nm" suffix) will use a refined, enhanced and optimized version of FinFET technology compared to its previous process nodes in terms of performance gained per watt, use of EUV lithography and power and area improvement.[13]"

FinFet is turning the transistors on their side to take advantage of the aspect ratio. I imagine that this would be a slower process as they would need to build up the layers "transversely" to the older configuration. Probably not for NASA/DOD.

This would probably entail a considerable amount of re-design.

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
@Learning published this article on Morse Micro and Chicony partnering and MegaChips being involve, then the wonderful @Diogenese piped up with some ménage stuff.

In all seriousness (how can you be serious after mentioning that?) can we unpack the potential likelihood of us being involved? Please?

On the back of this is MegaChips mentioning both us and Morse Micro as partners in a report on their website.

It's interesting that Chicony partnered with with Emza on an AI-based human sensing product back in 2020. Sounds like something Akida could do lying down drinking a Pina Colada.

Chicony and Emza demo human sensing at CES

At this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Taiwanese firm Chicony Electronics and Israel-based Emza Visual Sense will launch a battery-powered, AI-based human sensing product for IoT smart home applications.

A reference design is available and this can be experienced at Emza’s suite in the Westgate Resort.

Chicony Electronics makes input devices, power supplies and digital imaging products. Emza Visual Sense provides visual sensors allowing for the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in various applications.

The reference design is claimed to be the world’s first battery-powered human sensor for the IoT.

Chicony and Emza say they are bringing the sense of sight to IoT products and systems. Where cameras and motion detectors do not have the intelligence or accuracy to sense and differentiate people effectively, this jointly developed human sensor does. Its ability to detect human beings and their activities exclusively results in reduced false positives and increased cost effectiveness. The compact unit installs easily, with no infrastructure requirements, and maintains privacy by not storing images.

“Sight-based human sensing is a truly disruptive technology opening up an entire realm of AI opportunities in IoT,” said Roger Lu, president of Chicony. “By integrating Emza’s human sensing capabilities with our advanced camera modules and communications components, we can now enrich products and systems with the intelligence and accuracy they never had before.”

Chicony and Emza invite everyone in Las Vegas for CES to experience the battery-powered, AI-based human sensor first-hand.

“We are excited about addressing the rapidly growing demand for IoT together with one of the largest original design manufacturers in the world,” said Yoram Zylberberg, CEO of Emza. “With its broad product offering and global reach, Chicony is well positioned to extend our visual sensor into a host of markets, including security, smart home, smart building, consumer appliance, notebook, automotive and industry.”

Chicony Electronics is a Taiwan-based multinational electronics manufacturer of input devices, power supplies and digital imaging products including desktop and mobile keyboards, digital and PC cameras, integrated webcams and digital video cameras, as well as motherboards for personal computers and notebooks. Founded in 1983 and based in Taipei, it has operations in more than 15 countries worldwide and a client base of top-tier brands including Dropcam, Google, GoPro, HP and Lenovo.

Emza Visual Sense designs, develops, manufactures and markets always-on, low-power visual sensors allowing for the adoption of AI. It enables computer manufacturers, appliance OEMs and IoT providers to make their products and systems smarter. Its always-on WiseEye platform – which integrates machine-learning trainable algorithms with a CMOS sensor and AI SoC processor – sits at the edge of the cloud to optimise data and bandwidth use, increase privacy and reduce latency and computing and storage costs.

Emza is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Himax Technologies.

While we're on the subject (world domination), someone has found the fact that MegaChips has teamed up with Morse Micro

This means we are one degree of separation from potentially the next communication network of the IoT.

If we can hang on the coat-tails of MorseMicro, we could find ourselves having a couple of Akida IP implementations in almost all the IoT connected devices.

That was quick - they must have read my suggestion about MAC processors 114/164.
Well, truth be told, they have probably been familiarizing themselves with Akida at least since they hooked up with MegaChips.

Greetings from sunny Boomerang Beach, voted Australia’s second most beautiful beach last week.
I need the brains trust here to answer a few questions about the cap raise. Why do they call it put option? The definition of an option is the right but NOT the obligation to buy/sell a commodity, in this case BRN shares, at a predetermined price and exercise date.

There is an obligation in this instance so that in itself demonstrates incorrect terminology.

When does BRN receive the cash? Is it already, or in some time in April when the 91.5% VWAP is calculated? Because if it is already then LDA will not know at what price they are exposed at.

I have emailed TD but no response so far.

So, I think I was the straw that broke the camel's back and forced FF into self imposed exile. But not all is lost and I believe that FF would be occasionally visiting to see what we are carrying on about (no doubt with a sigh and shake of his head). If this is the case then I have some good news for you FF - the camel's back wasn't actually broken but instead 'only' severely bruised. After much physio, application of rare essential oils into padded feet, cleaning of teeth and rubbing of hump, the camel is now even fitter than before and ready to bear more load than ever. This is my hope anyway, it'd be good to have you back Fact Finder (Today Or Monday, or whenever suits you😉).
I do not understand where you are going with this Foxdog?

Are you trying to say that you were the one who made FF leave? That's very entitled of you.

You do understand no matter what information or sewage you may post.... This has 0 effect on the progress of the Co. It might effect short term share price minimally... My point being is that you should kindly shut up.

Do you feel good that you may have been the ''straw which broke the camel's back''?

Your entire sequence of words makes you out to be a D-head. Please post solid information or stay off the forum.

I think the best instances are when people are disputing facts with no evidence, yet they believe they are the winners of the argument...

''Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience''

IMO - DYOR - Don't listen to numpties & cheers Foxdog for making yourself out as an anonymous twat.

Hi @mrgds

Last AGM we heard "share price will do what share price does".

I doubt they'll use company resources to fight shorts. It's just not viable. It's time consuming, resource draining and a fight they won't win. Seriously, shorting is here to stay whether people like it or not. Manipulation is here to stay whether people like it or not.

Why bother? They should bring in sales, revenue, IP contracts and shorts will be covered and thereby share holders rewarded.
Yeah I highly doubt this will go any further than BRN receiving an email. Also I don't see any need for it unless people don't have the belief that BRN will eventually trigger the avalanche of news flow that will burn these shorts to a crisp. I certainly believe the company and its associated partners will light the fuse.

I was actually attempting a bit humour to try and get a very valued and respected member back on the forum, that's all. No harm meant, sorry.

I must say though that with a forum name like yours I suspect you are small of stature, small of appendage and clearly small of intellect.

More importantly is the fact, that BRN with the CEO and BOD being now " PUT ON NOTICE " about this situation and the potential outcomes of not taking or putting any precautions/actions/ scrutiny or protocals in place .......... imo, I don't think that any publicly listed Co can now just sweep it under the carpet so to speak .... the ramifications of this developing media exposure and s/holder enlightenment will drive things to new heights and most likely open up a whole new revenue stream for the legal profession and cause change to this whole "Shorters" situation.
