Howdy Brain Fam,

I've been keeping a bit of a low profile today because I discovered a phantasmagorical Mohito recipe last night and have been suffering the consequences of my reckless abandon and exuberant over-indulgence today.

So with that said, I'll try to make this as coherent as possible. Remember back in November 2022, Nils Shanz, was appointed Chief Product Officer at Cerence. Well, it just so happens that before that, Nils was responsible for user interaction and voice control at Mercedes and he worked on the Vision EQXX voice control system (which, needless to say is five to ten times MORE EFFICIENT than conventional voice control systems thanks to BrainChip's AKIDA).

Well, Nils Shanz is cited in the first recent Cerence announcement linked below. And the second recent announcement refers to Native Voice. bAck in December 2022, Chris Smith liked a post that John Goscha (Founder of Native Voice) made about Native Voice being chosen by iHeart Media to build the voice Assistant for iHeartRadio Audio Content.

What all of this means is anyone's guess but between you, me and the lamp post, I would't be at all surprised if we're involved in some of this action whether directly or indirectly IMO.

I was going to underline some of the interesting bits but my eyesight is still a bit bung, so please accept my sincere apologies and don't forget to drink responsibly unlike yours truly.

iHeartMedia announces a new series of voice assistant and automotive integrations for its iHeartRadio streaming service. The news was released ahead of CES 2023 in Las Vegas, which runs Thursday, Jan. 5 through Sunday, Jan. 8.
The integrations include Cerence, Fisker Auto, Native Voice, TomTom, and VinFast.

• Cerence, an industry leader in mobility AI, will deliver new paths to access iHeartRadio’s portfolio of audio content to automakers and their drivers. When combined with its voice recognition and natural language understanding, Cerence unlocks a seamless iHeartRadio infotainment experience that automakers and mobility OEMs can leverage for drivers across the country, iHeart says.

So, the 4C should be in, in a fortnight, and it's hard to expect any significant business development before then, as only renesas and megachips have licensed our ip.

I don't think we are doing enough to force Renesas' hand to use our IP. It would be hard to see renesas not producing a publicly available chip with akida ip if they have a client asking for one. They have only ever doubled down on their own DRP AI solution, and have even bought out whole software companies to get it to work (reality.ip).

I don't see that we have an infinite amount of time to land a deal. What we need is very very simple. A three way deal with a sensor maker, and megachips and us to produce a product that can be purchased. In the mean time Renesas are screwing us just as Edison stuffed Tesla and it's high time we sent them their invoice, collected the money and phoned megachips. If renesas can not show BRN a timeline for sale of chips with akida it's time to take them on.
