BRN Discussion Ongoing

If i can put him on ignore or admin should not allow this sort of stuff. What was wrong in my message.

Look I'm not gonna speak for The Big W, but IMO your message was pretty dumb.
CES maybe brings a little extra attention, but for me, it's just further confirmation that investing in a company like BRN is a good choice.
Everything is on track, partnerships are ongoing. This is nuggets of info to us here, that an avg investor doesn't have.

Did you rush out and buy thousands of BRN shares when CES started off? If not, why would someone else, let alone the entire market?

CES 2023 didn't help with the SP. What will? Waiting game.

While I understand the frustration, one must remember, last year Mercedes did us a favour during CES by putting Brainchip's name out for all to see, but we cannot expect that to happen all the time.

The company is still making progress, share price fluctuations will be here for ever, the semiconductor index also took a hit over the last few days so that wouldn't help companies in similar markets.

This is exactly why I try to keep my expectations very low when it comes to road shows and exhibitions like CES. I just observe what they show, but don't think these shows are price sensitive for markets.

To answer your question, revenues would help with the SP.

Edge Impulse seems to have an IP contract with BrainChip, which didn't get announced, possibly because they didn't have a dollar amount in the contract so not material enough for ASX, so I am thinking the only thing that could help the SP would be actual revenue and financials, unless a company similar to Merc does what they did last year.

Agreed. The days of hype runs are now over in my opinion, and honestly that’s a good thing. But as long as shorters and institutions consider us a speculative company though, we’ll continue to be pumped and dumped.

Continued climbing revenue is what is needed now to demonstrate that we’ve entered the growth phase of the business. We need to see some decent quarterly reports and this is what I expect to see moving forward. The company is over two years into commercialisation and I think the grace period is approaching the thin end now, and I fully expect management realise this, based on Sean’s comments from the last AGM.

If you don't mind can I ask how long you've been a holder for. I know you've been around for a while.
I've ridden the emotional rollercoaster ride many times but when I sit back and see who/what we are associated with it just makes me 😁
And imo since we are on the cusp of being mass produced it sometimes gets a bit edgey for me also.

Long enough for the CES to be a deal breaker

Another 3.4M shorts taken out Friday!

Sure it would have been great to announce Akida LSTM was available etc but it has to be very pleasing to know SocioNext is heavily invested in cockpit AI and relying on Akida. We know Prophesee has a very positive future and we are what they were missing. There is some serious dots to Iphone sensors through this relationship with Sony.

If i recall our CEO mentioned at the last AGM that the Next AGM would have seen the next edition of Akida released publically (I do think it has been shared with EAP VIPs forsure under a NDA. In the last 4C i got sense there were very close to converting some licence agreements which was their focus. If that occurs the 4C records cash and it may not be paid so I am more interested in revenue receipt.

investing in BRN has been derisked a lot from the partnerships we know about. Intel would not in this world associate and promote us if they didnt validate, accept us and know customers will want us in their chips. The potential is massive but fairly for the majority of people, they want to see a business that has paying customers.

BRN could have been still in VC at the moment just like NVISO, Prophesee, SiFive. We are growing with these companies but we have the chance to be invested earlier.

Everything positive is happening to start having really nice revenue streams at highprofit margins very soon. Once that happens PE ratios of 50 will not be questioned at all in a growing market with no debt!

That is like share prices of $8 on profit of 270M. Its coming and there will be a rush to acquire and a rush to close over 100M shorts.

the good news is we don't have to hope the tech works, that there is a need for it 10 years. It's happening now and 2024 we can be comparing Akida products we own on this site. The question i have is what will you be doing with your time while your car is driving up the coast to your beach home. Will you be reading TSE or talking to your new panasonic fluff ball!

At this stage the share price seems reasonable until we put numbers on the board. Which will come in due course. We will be in a Renesas MASS produced chip by the end of the year.

The strong foundation that Brainchip is laying is unquestionable and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the company is tracking in this climate. Lack of ASX announcements is not the same as lack of announcements. We’ve had plenty recently. So much is going on behind the scenes - the recent interview reiterated we have an ongoing relationship with NASA and Mercedes. Why would they both still be working with us after so many years, if we won’t be utilised in any/many ways?

Not to mention the reach our partnerships with ARM, Prophosee, NVISIO, Edge Impulse is going to have. Licence agreements with Megachips and Renesas. Joined Intel Foundry Services. Massive talent from major companies with enormous experience coming aboard the BRN train and gushing about our capabilities. I’m missing countless other noteworthy achievements no doubt on my limited lunch break.

How could one be frustrated?

Because everyone reacts to SP fluctuations differently.

This is why share market is a psychological game than anything else.
And this is why even the most intelligent ones may fail in this game, but someone who has a methodical approach may win due to his/her psychological approach to wins and losses.

A cautionary tale:

Defamed mining investor awarded $275k

Story by Jack Gramenz • 1h ago

A New Zealand-based stock picker will have to pay at least $275,000 after defaming a prominent Australian mining investor via social media, a court has ruled.

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/aust...sedgntp&cvid=bc1fcc9543734df79e0fff02267d1b88

Alan Francis Davison, the man behind the Stock Swami Twitter account, defamed Tolga Kumova through a number of social media posts alleging he was involved in a syndicate engaged in "pump and dump" schemes to inflate the value of stocks they owned, Justice Michael Lee told the Federal Court on Monday.

Mr Davison's various defences fell away in a manner which "should have been obvious from the start", the judge said.

The stocks did not appear susceptible to a "pump and dump" scheme and there was no evidence any "dump" took place outside normal trading activity or that Mr Kumova was involved in a criminal syndicate conducting such a scheme, Justice Lee said.

He accepted Mr Kumova's claim his social media posts about specific stocks he had invested in growing in value were prideful boasts, not designed to encourage others to invest.

"It was at least in large part an exercise in swaggering braggadocio," Justice Lee said.

Mr Davison had pursued an ongoing campaign against Mr Kumova through his own Twitter account and complaints to regulators, and an apology he offered the court was not accepted as genuine by the judge.

Justice Lee also criticised the conduct of Mr Davison's legal team, withholding documents and commenting publicly on the ongoing case, when deciding to award aggravated damages.

Mr Kumova has been awarded $275,000 in damages with a future hearing to determine payment of legal costs and restrictions on material being republished.

Absolutely spot on BL .... It's also the new contacts/relationships that would have been made and more Global exposure for Brainchip Akida that will be the positives moving forward from the CES conference, These things will take time!!! (Not an overnight success!!)

IMO... I think we will see a positive 4C coming out within the next 3 weeks even if it's $3/4Mil that's 3000/4000% increase from the last 4C!!

Happy days around the corner :cool:
