Well we can blame Snapchat’s poor results which cause a late tech sector selloff in the US aftermarket during the night. BRN is moving up and down pretty much with the larger tech sector sentiment until we have “new” confirmed SP moving news from the company or one of the confirmed partners. There is some anticipation of the 4C of course which helps keep some forward momentum.

This is just daily inconsequential noise though in the grand scheme of BRN’s future. Next year and beyond they should be flying.

Anybody got a figure on how many additional shorts taken out yesterday?

I know someone said Wednesday's figure was around 900k.

Look at the volume, shorters look like they have blown their wad for now and are just trying to massage the price lower.

They may have created a bit of fear, which was their intention.

I think shorters know they got till next Friday to get this price in their range. BRN fairly consistent on waiting till end of month to put out 4c. Be nice to get it early for once though.

Could be. At US.69 cents to AUD$1. US1.18 = AUD$1.711 exactly. So someone tried to XT at AUD1.18 and did it at US1.18. Too big a coincidence to not be the case. Someone is in Trooouuuble. Good pick up.

I believe there is some profit taking before the weekend. If you want to top up now looks like it might be a good opportunity, not advice so DYOR.

ASX as a whole has been working its way back up towards open after an early morning panic.

Shorters on BRN appear to have done their best but have now run out of puff. Lets see if BRN and the market as a whole continues to recover over the next couple of hours. I see things as setting up nicely for a late afternoon run up. Particularly as the seller depth looks patchy to say the least.
