Did anyone manage to catch the 7 news (Cairns) last night? showing a handheld Covid detection device, with results in seconds, and 98% accuracy

You can catch up with last nights news here and it on at the 10 minute mark.

Nothing to do with Akida.

Well, that'd be a shame if this is true.

Saw DB mentioned it, so thought I'd ask.

Some companies are not required to produce a 4C. I would have to look it up. Something to do with cashflow positive for 3 qtrs or something like that.

An article in Kalkin Media. Nothing that we don't know but any publicity is good publicity.

Apologies if previously posted.

I'm very hopeful of BRN for the future and any explosive news that will come in the weeks and months forth.

That said I'm negative on the markets in the sense I see them range here for a while maybe revisit the lows or go below those support levels.

These don't mean BRN is immune to the general market but my long term prospect is blue sky's! And news can come any time! Exciting times ahead!

Very interesting! $650k grant by the government seems much more appropriate compared to the $20k for Biotome. Are we absolutely certain there is no link between Brainchip and Examin Holdings? This sure feels like the spotlight Biotome should be receiving.

This is what I found on ASX re: waiver. Very interesting why TMH is eligible for this ''highly unlikely waiver''.

It still has to undergo clinical trials. Nanose I think have completed their trials( I think) they have yet to compile and document before May ( once again I think) I imagine their testing to requirements will take that long too.

I must admit like many of us, I did go over the top a bit when Rob mentioned his now famous "Tip of the Iceberg" line in last years Christmas email to SH. Was starting to worry Rob had thrown a curve ball at us.

But by Jan 4 holey hell what a surprise, the Akida commercialisation rocket ship DID take off.

So the question on my mind is - has Rob done it again?

When Melissa Darmawan (from FNN) asked the question "Who's you favourite AI character, Rob?" Rob gave the answer as Robot Ken. And then he went on about how Ken needs a buddy. Maybe a dog.

Now you have to ask yourself - who needs 5 sensor modalities on board - very low power consumption and - complete disconnect from the cloud.

The breathalyser-like device that can detect COVID-19 with a minute

A Queensland inventor has created a handheld COVID-19 breath testing device, which can detect any virus variants within a minute.
Speaking to Scott Emerson on 4BC Drive, Colin Hickey, Managing Director of Examin Holdings, said it was a very simple device.
“It’s very straightforward. It is exactly like any other breath test. It’s non-invasive, a five-second blow into the device, and that’s all we need to track the virus to determine the exact viral load that you have from very low levels to whatever is possible,” he said.
“The result is then produced onto a QR code on the screen, and the person who took the test can scan that to get their result.”
Mr Hickey said the device uses a “biosensor” to detect a viral load in your breath within a minute and is similar to blowing into a police breathalyser.

When asked how reliable the user can expect the result to be, Mr Hickey said they had been very successful in precision from the trials that have been completed for two years.
“We’re in excess of 98 per cent accuracy, and specificity is very high as well, around 97 to 98. In other words, it can tell the difference between one virus and another.”
Industry Minister Angus Taylor today announced a $647,665 grant for the project’s development.
