Wrong.

Nothing is perfect.

But the strive for perfection, can accomplish Great Things. 😉
As an imperfect creation you have never had the ability to judge and be correct all the time and this is one of those occasions unless I am wrong.

Just received a spam call recommending "Canadian Lithium stock". I yelled at him "Go f***ing research ASX Brainchip and recommend to everyone you call to invest.
Hate spam calls!
That was actually @BaconLover catching you in an unlicenced financial advice trap.

Should have finished it with "IMO, DYOR" you rookie!!

This is 💯 percent irrelevant but I imagine it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for me to sell a dining table on Gumtree.

Some dude called Ricardo keeps arranging with me to take a look at it and then he cancels at the last minute. He's done it to me 5 times! He probably finds it really hilarious and I probably would too if the stupid thing wasn't blocking my driveway.

The data is a little flawed though. I have two holding in Brainchip - the first being in a standard trading account, the second in my personal SMSF. I expect there’s plenty of people in a similar situation.

Yes good point we to have two holdings and quite a few here have mentioned something similar.

What intrigues me a little is the large jump in total numbers being in the thousands clearly has not come from large institutions so the majority are retail getting on board.

I was told by the company that there has been a significant spike in German retail interest but could it be in the thousands???

The sort of environment we have been in does not lend itself to FOMO buying but bargain hunting in the markets.

This being the case these retail investors will probably be a more stabilising influence than those who chased BRN up to $2.34.

They probably know much more about BRN and see the potential.

My opinion & speculation only DYOR

Great post Stable Genius 👍
You are indeed showing your rationality!

The way I see Renesas, is that they are trying to fill every ecological niche possible, in the semiconductor World.

They are a Global leader, they would have a partner list, a mile long..

They want to be everything in the semiconductor World.

Their IP licence with us, fills one of those niches.

It might only be a particular group "suite" of insects, to use a natural analogy.

But insects as a whole, make up 75% of all animal species and 40% of all living things (these flies were plucked from the Web).

So nobody, should discount, the smaller applications, when it comes to the semiconductor World, their numbers are magnitudes greater!
We are only just beginning.
I'm happy to be in insect grade applications whilst Bigger established players learn to deal with us and get comfortable with what we can do.
Ants, cockroaches and bees may not be very sexy, but there are gazillions of them, everywhere and even if we're only getting percentage of a cent on each one, thats still good money getting us towards cash flow positive.
If the next steps up are to the level of rats and pigeons, I'm happy to be in that niche too, again billions of applications, most of which are still gleams in the eye of their developers.
We all want the cachet of being incorporated at the eagle, tiger, whale, EQXX level, and that too will come.
We will inhabit SEXY BEAST land in time. :ROFLMAO:
But it's a process to get there and I want us to live up to our potential, in everything and everywhere from microbe to Godhead.
We are starting at the edge, far edge, as it is the quickest path to commercialisation at present, but as we grow, over time, I see us migrating inwards becoming an indispensable part of the greater GAI whole.
I believe this to be in part, some of Peter's vision for the future.

Hope you're feeling better FF. :)

BELOW is a 30 min Chart of BRN when @ 0.89c

This shows a rebound off that low of 0.87c yesterday and SUPPORTED by the 100 DAY/MVA.

Quite possibly the last low point before a new uptrend. Especially if we do not break that 100 DAY/MVA.
Good time to buy if you want more which is what I have done!
Encouraging!

Personal opinion only. This is a BRN project and will form part of the applications library that is constantly being built out by Brainchip.

I can just see @uiux and @butcherano at a Westfield offering free breast screening with their home made AKIDA powered microscopes. Taking blood from finger pricks and running the slides past AKIDA.

Morning Diogenese ,

I have not sold / traded any shares in the last 15 months.

Only added 5,000 odd extra shares two weeks ago .

End result, risen substantially on holders list.

Woo Hoo.

I think many here would be pleasantly surprised where thay sit in the pecking order.

Top 5 MCU suppliers accounted for 82% of 2021 sales

New ranking from IC Insights shows some revenue gaps expanding between the largest microcontroller manufacturers.

Single-chip microcontrollers for embedded control and computing functions are ubiquitous and continue to be designed into more systems. Much of the new growth in MCUs is driven by embedded automation and the spread of sensors. The pervasiveness of MCUs was a key factor in suppliers being unable to keep up with the strong 2021 rebound from the 2020 global recession caused by the start of the Covid-19 virus pandemic.
After falling 7% in 2019 because of a weak global economy and then dropping 2% in 2020 due to the Covid-virus crisis, MCU sales rebounded with a 27% increase in 2021 to a record-high USD 20.2 billion. The 2021 surge was the highest percentage growth in MCUs since 2000. The average selling price (ASP) for MCUs climbed 12% in 2021—the highest annual increase since the mid-1990s. Production-constrained MCU shipments grew just 13% in 2021 to 31.2 billion units.
In the strong MCU recovery last year, the sales rankings of the five largest microcontroller suppliers remained unchanged from 2020, according to IC Insights’ new second-quarter update. The 2Q Update shows three of the 2021 top five MCU suppliers headquartered in Europe (NXP, STMicroelectronics, and Infineon), one in the U.S. (Microchip), and one in Japan (Renesas).
2021 RankCompanyHeadquarters2020202121/20 change (%)2021 marketshare
1NXPEurope2,9803,79527%18.8%
2MicrochipUSA2,8723,58425%17.8%
3RenesasJapan2,7483,42024%17.0%
4STEurope2,5063,37435%16.7%
5InfineonEurope1,9532,37822%11.8%
Leading MCU suppliers (USD million)
The five largest microcontroller suppliers develop and sell ARM-based MCUs. These companies accounted for 82.1% of worldwide MCU sales in 2021 compared to 72.2% in 2016—meaning the big keep getting bigger in microcontrollers. The increase of the biggest MCU suppliers has resulted from major acquisitions and mergers since 2016. The five biggest MCU suppliers are significantly larger than the rest of the top 10 in microcontrollers, according to the update report. For instance, the second half of the top 10 (Texas Instruments, Nuvoton, Rohm, Samsung, and Toshiba) accounted for USD 2.3 billion in MCU sales last year, or 11.4% of the market total. Outside the top 10, MCU suppliers had just 6.5% marketshare in 2021.
In 2021, top-ranked NXP in the Netherlands slightly widened its MCU revenue lead over second-place Microchip by USD 103 million. Microchip increased its sales lead over third-ranked Renesas by about USD 40 million last year, according to new estimates in IC Insights’ 2Q Update report.
Fourth-place STMicroelectronics saw the strongest sales increase in the MCU ranking with revenues rising 35% in 2021, which nearly lifted the company past Renesas—putting it just USD 46 million behind its Japanese rival. Renesas had been the largest MCU supplier through the first half of the last decade but was passed in 2016 after NXP acquired U.S.-based Freescale at the end of 2015. Renesas’ marketshare in MCU sales stood at 17.0% in 2021 compared to 33.1% in 2011.
Germany’s Infineon remained in fifth place in the 2021 microcontroller ranking with sales that increased 22% to USD 2.4 billion—about USD 996 million less than ST in MCUs last year. Infineon moved into the top five MCU ranking after acquiring U.S.-based Cypress Semiconductor in April 2020 for USD 9.3 billion to expand further in automotive microcontrollers, power management, and other embedded systems applications.

Wow! Sorry if posted previously but some of the work that Prophesee is doing is really impressive including using its sensor in a medical trial for the partial recovery of visual function in a blind patient. This is a "must see" (no pun intended) video IMO! 😁👀

Nice rise so far on small numbers 👍
That's the beauty of it Rocket, in regards to the current shorters.

They've tried so hard, selling millions of borrowed shares, to get volume at lower prices.

But the majority of the volume there, is their selling! 😂

Now if there is no capitulation, at lower prices and people are smart and don't set "stop loss" orders (which they can see and are simply sell orders)..

Then where will they get the volume, to cover their shorts? 🤔..

A small rise in buying volume, already, puts them in the red!

Every day, they are not covered, is another day closer, to an announcement, that will totally ruin them! 🤣 🔥🔥🔥

And make us rich, at the same time!
Now where have I seen that scenario, played out before? 🤔..

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗤𝗫𝗫 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀!

Our VISION EQXX, the most efficient Mercedes-Benz ever built, has just broken its own efficiency record, driving 1,202 km from Stuttgart (Germany) to Silverstone (UK) on a single battery charge, achieving average energy consumption of 8.3 kWh/100 km!

This week, the research vehicle set off on a summer road trip from Stuttgart to Silverstone. During the 14 hours and 30 minutes of driving time, the #VISIONEQXX crossed the French border near Strasbourg then cruised across northern France at highway speeds to Calais, where it boarded the Eurotunnel.

In the UK, it stopped off at Brackley, hometown of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Waiting to greet it there were the Formula 1 and Formula E experts who helped develop its advanced drivetrain. It then continued on its way to the home of British motorsport – the iconic Silverstone racetrack, where the first ever Formula 1 race was run in 1950.

There, Nyck de Vries, driver for the world-champion Mercedes-EQ Formula E team, put the VISION EQXX through its paces on the track, taking it up to its maximum speed limit of 140 km/h. Making the most of the occasion, he completed 11 laps, using the last of the charge on the pit lane.

The main challenges were summer temperatures of up to 30 degrees Celsius, paired with increased traffic density around Stuttgart and in the southeast of England. Nevertheless, our VISION EQXX kept a cool head the whole way thanks to its innovative thermal management system.

Honestly, I am once again extremely proud! Plus, these long-distance journeys on a single battery charge under real-world conditions provide my R&D team with valuable data for our ongoing development programme. As we at Mercedes-Benz AG are striving to go all-electric by 2030 wherever market conditions allow,

I think it is important to show to the world what can be achieved in real terms through a combination of cutting-edge technology, teamwork and determination. One thing is for sure: Work continues on the development of many VISION EQXX technologies for application in future series-production vehicles.

For our team behind it, gathering invaluable real-life data, the most important question is: Where next?
