Fascinatingly Intuitive.
Imagine the safety and luxury features the brain chip edition of Maybach will have!

Im thinking a designated camera will scan the chosen bottle of champagne, then proceed to give a detailed flow of information referencing key attributes all while the lucky one or two pop the top and sip diligently as they're chauffeured around.

'Ha ha ha, ah yes the unmistakable taste of 59' Dom.'

All while your vitals are being monitored and the probability of external threats are being calculated.

'Another bottle dear?'
Afternoon LordByron,

AHhhh, personally I'd only get a Mayback if the seats were crafted from the shavings of black truffles, well Mercedes are into fungas fabrics.

Not long now, can taste the bubbles.

I haven't looked at Tempo project for a couple of years so have started revisiting it. Time for dot joining again. I'm putting this up early without too much follow up in case someone wants to join in. I'm going to throw up Infineon as a company to watch. The following link is to their site and on this page you should open their 2nd qtr presentation as there is a lot to interest me here. (Don't know how to post a pdf by phone, if someone can add it here). Concentrate on the cars that have a red cover over them especially the german one, there is also a picture of a screen in car that reminds me of the mbux. Note that Valeo is a customer as is a few other well known names. It also says how many MCU's will be in a car, 35 in total next to a car with a red cover. They mention neural networks further down and found it very interesting. I will leave it to others here to pull this apart but will continue reseaching this.

Great to see holders here upgrading their tickets and increasing their level of comfort, on the Brainchip bus 😉

I know the ones buying today, have strong hands!

No one can say, what the price may be tomorrow, next week, or next month..

But in my mind, the ones with the best seats on the bus, will benefit the most, as our journey, eventually heads to higher and higher ground, with better and better, even stunning views.

Just remember, that some rather portly, fundy and institutional types, also want on the bus.

They tend to take up more than one seat..
And in spite of their wealth and purchasing power, they always want to get their first class ticket, at a discount price..

Good luck to all holders 👍

Still low volume , but on the up.

Hey all!

I've been working on a small project - hopefully something useful for you all and for future investors of BRN. It's a small website that has a BRN timeline of important past and future events, and a few links etc. I made it so that we can have a quick reference of important BRN information and an easy way to introduce people to BRN.

https://akida.io/

Hopefully it's going to be useful. I have done my best to include as much as I can initially and will keep adding as new things come up.

A big thank you to TSE's "Founding Members" for their ideas and support and also to @Esq.111 for providing a list of upcoming events and @Fact Finder for allowing me to share his "The Brainchip Story".

I have made it on behalf of and for all of us shareholders and BRN supporters, so if there's anything you would like added or changed feel free to let me know!

Also a big Thank You to all of the 1000 eyes, your work is amazing and I love reading it all every day!

Valeo Group | 14 Jun, 2022 | 5 min

Valeo’s third generation LiDAR chosen by Stellantis for its level 3 automation capability

Stellantis has chosen Valeo's third-generation LiDAR to equip multiple models of its different automotive brands from 2024. The Valeo SCALA 3 LiDAR will enable these vehicles to be certified for level 3 automation, allowing drivers to safely take their hands off the steering wheel and their eyes off the road.

As Yves Bonnefont, Chief Software Officer and member of Stellantis’ Top Executive Team, explains: “What sets cars apart from others today is the driving experience they offer. Thanks to our L3 autonomous driving solution leveraging Valeo’s latest generation LiDAR, we will offer a more enjoyable driving experience and give back time to the driver during their journeys.
Marc Vrecko, President of Valeo’s Comfort & Driving Assistance Systems Business Group, commented: “A new chapter in driving assistance systems is being written with our partners at Stellantis. Level 3 vehicle automation can only be achieved with LiDAR technology. Without it, some objects cannot be detected. Yet at this level of autonomy, the system’s perception capabilities must be extremely precise. Our third-generation Valeo SCALA LiDAR offers a resolution nearly 50 times that of the second-generation device. The technology comes with unique data collection features, allowing Stellantis to pave the way for new vehicle experiences.
Valeo’s third-generation LiDAR sees everything, even when an object is far ahead, invisible to the human eye. It can identify objects more than 150 meters ahead that neither the human eye, cameras nor radars can, such as a small object with very low reflectivity, for example a tire lying in the road. It recreates a 3D image of the vehicle’s surroundings using a point cloud, with an as yet unparalleled resolution for an automotive system. It can map the ground topology and detect road markings.

lidar_valeo_stellantis-1.png

Valeo LiDAR also features embedded high performance software based on artificial intelligence algorithms, which enables it to steer the vehicle’s trajectory, anticipating obstacle-free zones on the road ahead. It can self-diagnose and triggers its cleaning system when its field of vision is obstructed. Like all Valeo LiDAR, the technology is automotive grade, meaning that the data it generates remain fully reliable and accurate in all usage and weather conditions (from -40 up to +85°C). It stands as the key component in a sensor system enabling vehicles to achieve approval for SAE conditional driving automation (level 3), meeting the legal requirements of UN-R157.
Valeo’s third generation LiDAR makes driving safer and gives time back to the driver in bothersome driving situations, such as when traveling at low or medium speed in heavy traffic. These challenges are central to the partnership between Stellantis and Valeo. Through its data collection capabilities, this LiDAR will enable new services to be offered to Stellantis’ customers.
Valeo is already world number one in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), equipping one in three new cars globally with its technologies. It was the first, and to date remains the only, company to produce an automotive LiDAR scanner on an industrial scale. More than 170,000 units have been produced and the technology is protected by more than 500 patents. The Group intends to accelerate even further in this field, as announced in February 2022 with the launch of its Move Up plan, the value creation strategy at the heart of the four megatrends disrupting mobility (electrification, ADAS, reinvention of the interior experience and lighting).

Wow, that’s awesome. There won’t be many cars left that won’t include Akida soon.

Bit of a humble brag but I think I mentioned this might happen:

Post in thread 'QUALCOMM / BRN'
https://thestockexchange.com.au/threads/qualcomm-brn.14998/post-75577

:)
Following on from that we might as well go with the clean sweep as we already have links to Daimler, Ford, Tata and now likely Stellantis:

And I’ve put this one up before but Stellantis have a few customers for their Valeo/Akida sensors:

I’m just dissapointed I’ve run out of money to buy more!

I’m not selling anything until Valeo/Akida sensors are ubuiqutous!

Also think Aurix Microcontrollers worth looking at further up page. Infineon has a chance of being a link to many companies we have looked. Some menrioned by BRN in the past like Continental, Aptiv which I haven't been able to find anything on. There is also Denso, Bosch etc which would be handy. They are into a lot of the fields we would expect to play in like smart home, ADAS etc.

yeah, but ...

they may be flying under the LiDaR.

Their tie up with continental (20210426) postdates their 10 million ADAS by a couple of months. I took it to mean a cumulative 10 million, not 10 million p.a. They have been around since 2004, and tied up with Bosch since 2012:

@Bravo do you mind putting up slides 6 and 41 together please?
The reason being, on slide 6 there is a car with a red cover over it that says German Luxury OEM, and on slide 41 they mention an Aurix plarform win with an OEM and says how many Aurix are in that car and it is 35, and it also breaks it down to how many for each use case.
Found it very interesting. Love dot joining.

I was just reviewing some of my original slides I copied from Valeo and saw that my earlier slide shows Valeo already has the clean sweep therefore if we are in their sensors so do we!

The day our trusted partner Valeo publicly confirm Akida is in their Scala 3 our SP will go ballistic!

Despite the current price it’s my belief it’s still a great day to be a Brainchip shareholder.

Valeo liked this on linkedIn: https://www.inpi.fr/palmares-2021-des-principaux-deposants-de-brevets-l-inpi

It looks like the top French Patent list. A few interesting names there:

2021 list of the main patent applicants at INPI

06/13/2022
INPI unveils the 2021 list of patent applicants: an edition dominated by Safran - in the lead for the first time - closely followed by Stellantis and further Valeo. This year, the list is enriched by the top 3 patent applicants by field and technological subfield.
1655198758227.png

TOP 10 major patent applicants 2021 - INPI

The highlights
  • Safran, the number one patent applicants in France, closely followed by Stellantis
  • 2 midcaps (midcaps) present in the TOP 50
  • The top 50 patent applicants account for 53.2% of applications published at INPI
  • "Mechanics" at the top of the main technological fields, followed by "electrotechnics" and "chemistry"
  • "Transport" at the top of the main technological sub-areas, followed by "electrical machinery, appliances and energy" and "motors, pumps, turbines"
  • Gaztransport and Technigaz (GTT) No. 1 in the "ETI" category
  • Aledia No. 1 in the "SME" category
  • CEA No. 1 in the category "Research, higher education institutions and state institutions"
  • Safran and CNRS No. 1 in research/industry co-deposits
"The 2021 edition of the list of patent applicants at INPI honors our great champions of French innovation, especially in France's "strong" fields of aeronautics and automotive. The top 50 also has two mid-sized institutions, as well as many public research institutions. And some SMEs stand out for their regular presence in the Top 10 in this category. This demonstrates, if necessary, that innovation is everywhere, including among small players. It is these that INPI teams accompany on a daily basis, to convince them of the relevance of filing patents and to provide them with a toolbox allowing them to build their intellectual property strategy, in parallel with their business strategy. The Pact law, now fully implemented and proven, allows more flexibility in protecting their innovations, and even more robustness. Innovation is an essential factor in French competitiveness, and its protection is an absolute necessity," comments Pascal Faure, Director General of INPI.

The first two applicants shoulder to shoulder

Safran takes the lead in the ranking for the first time since 2004, the year the ranking was born, with 1,037 patent applications published.
It is closely followed by Stellantis with 1,035 applications published in 2021*.
Ranks 3 to 7 remain unchanged from 2020:
Two midcaps - already present in the ranking last year - are among the top 50 patent holders at INPI this year: Gaztransport and Technigaz (GTT), a naval engineering company, and the Soitec Group, a specialist in the production of semiconductor materials.
12 research, higher education and state institutions (RESE) are present in the Top 50 (compared to 13 last year).
The first three research, higher education and state institutions in the ranking are identical to last year: the CEA (4th), CNRS (6th) and IFP Energies Nouvelles (13th, +2 places).
In 2021, the top 50 applicants accounted for 53.2% of all published patent applications, compared to 54.8% in 2020, a slightly lower concentration. As a reminder, they accounted for more than half of all patent applications since 2018 (52.5% in 2018; 52% in 2019; 54.8% in 2020).

The main technological fields and sub-domains

The three most represented technological fields are "mechanics" (39%), "electrotechnics" (22.1%), "chemistry" (15.1%) and "instruments" (12.9%).
"Transport" (15.9%), "electrical machinery, appliances and energy" (8.2%) and "motors, pumps, turbines" (6%) are the three technological sub-areas in the lead.

He-he-he! This tweet is as subtle as a bowling ball. I wouldn't blame it if Infineon took it to heart (or to BRAINchip). 🤭
