Bloody good job mate.
Im on the run short of time but just had to say great stuff.
Might just be my muddled mind at the mo, but reading this post, to me, just confirms loudly we are partnered with NVIDIA Jetson at the very least here. It describes Brainchip Akida as a "supported platform" but then mentions the NVIDIA etc.
Happy days, got to run, yeah. (wish the SP reflected my excitement, but still HAPPY DAYS (y)(y)

I'm not sure why this was sent out?
Isn't this old news? or is there something else coming soon that is relevant to this press release?

my take out from this other than the millions of potential use cases is

"Edge Impulse is the leading machine learning platform, enabling all enterprises to build smarter edge products. Their technology empowers developers to bring more ML products to market faster, and helps enterprise teams rapidly develop industry-specific solutions in weeks instead of years."
It was only old news to the 1,000 Eyes. ARM will be old news to us as well even to MF who read about it here first and even they made the point there has not been a specific release by Brainchip.

The general market does not deep dive into Brainchip website everyday looking for changes as the 1,000 Eyes does.

Mmm, I seem to recall someone from here (dhm?) contacting him about Brainchip, but he was less than complimentary in his response…

Hi JoMo, I remember that too and I always wondered what to make of it. Perhaps @LuWil or @Diogenese knows a little more about what his (Ryad Benosman's) response implies?

What part was wrong please. - (Yak52)

The part where ....................IF you have not loaded up already then you have missed the BUS and must play catchup?

or The part where ......
This forum is for LTH and INVESTORS who want to communicate info and news and not have to read/hear the same shit as on that OTHER forum has!

or the part where....
Rish from ashes.....................we know you are a trader and DT but we do not want another HOTCRAPPER here thank you !!

Some of it or ALL of it ????....... Rise from the ashes.? Hmm?

Your own posts confirm at least one of those mentioned above! Lol.

Yak52.
ps. WE here think a long term trade (hold position) is far more than just 5-7 days also. lol.
Yak rise has been in Brn since the beginning he has traded a couple of times but wouldn’t call him a day trader. More a believer I would say.

While we are all thinking automotive and robotics do not forget Biotome and Nanose:

"The global pandemic is not yet over. Public health experts suspect it will last at least another five years, but how this ongoing crisis plays out is ultimately up to us.

Here's How The Next 5 Years Might Look: Scientists Outline 3 Likely Pandemic Outcomes
© Orbon Alija/Getty ImagesHere's How The Next 5 Years Might Look: Scientists Outline 3 Likely Pandemic Outcomes
A new report from the International Science Council (ISC), an international organization who's aim is to unite scientific bodies around the world, has laid out three scenarios that could occur by 2027.

The report was written by a panel of 20 experts on public health, virology, economics, behavioral science, ethics, and sociology.

While their commentary isn't an attempt to predict the future, their report helps narrow down and illustrate some of the possible actions the world can take to minimize the pandemic's impact going forward.

In the coming years, improving vaccine development and distribution could help the SARS-CoV-2 virus reach low endemic levels, with only limited, controlled transmission in most countries.

Scenario one

If the percentage of people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 increases from roughly 61 percent of all adults to over 80 percent globally, many lives could be saved and the risk of emerging variants could be reduced. In turn, there could also be benefits for mental health, the economy and sustainable development.

Even in this optimistic scenario, the coronavirus won't disappear, but its spread will become far more manageable.

In all likelihood, however, that's not where we're headed. The ISC report argues that governments have so far prolonged the pandemic, by focusing on national strategies instead of international collaboration.

Scenario two

Our lack of action so far instead suggests a more likely result is that vaccination rates are below 70 percent worldwide. If they don't increase, the novel coronavirus could become endemic with seasonal surges that would overwhelm hospitals in multiple countries and require "updated vaccines and the use of antiviral pharmaceuticals".

By 2027, the ISC report finds the most likely scenario is "an exacerbation of global inequalities". The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals will be set back by a decade.

"The key lessons are, nonetheless, very clear. Even if the acute phase of the pandemic is winding towards an end in those countries with high vaccination rates, the risks will remain high while many in the world do not have access to an effective vaccine," the report concludes.

"New variants may yet emerge, and vigilance and ongoing vaccine and therapeutic development remain essential. There is no policy domain that remains unaffected, and governments must recognize that the pandemic's myriad impacts will not be resolved quickly. They must not pretend that the crisis is over just because mortality is reduced. For many citizens there will be many years of difficulties and challenges ahead."

Vulnerable people, like women, children and the elderly, will be most impacted. Meanwhile, low-income nations will face future health system collapse and growing food insecurity.

Scenario three

If nationalism and populism keep growing, the authors of the report worry that trust between governments and between states and their people will further deteriorate, reducing vaccine uptake.

They call this the "Missed Recovery" scenario. As geopolitical tensions grow, protectionist policies could seriously hamper global collaboration. The exact opposite of what is needed to deal with an international crisis.

In this worst-case scenario, less than 60 percent of the global population would be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and low-income countries would still have limited access to initial doses and antiviral medicines.

"As a result, COVID-19 remains largely uncontrolled, with severe recurrences in parts of the world," the report reads.

To avoid a grim reality like that playing out, experts argue governments need to collaborate and invest in health care systems, integrate scientific advice systems, and address widening inequalities in education and wealth.

The ISC report urges governments to resist the temptation to cut climate targets for short-term gain.

It's possible that increasing climate change and environmental destruction will only make future pandemics more likely in the long run. And no one wants to go through this again.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated the value of international scientific cooperation, even in the face of cascading environmental risks and geopolitical tensions," says Mami Mizutori, the United Nations secretary-general for disaster risk reduction.

"We must renew efforts to build a multilateral system that addresses inequalities while preparing us for the next crisis. Whether it be another pandemic, climate change, or conflict, we have the chance to learn from the last two years. If not, the Sustainable Development Goals will slip out of reach."

The report was published by the International Science Council."

What Brainchip and AKIDA offer the need for will only ever increase in line with the worlds ever growing population and inequality of health, food, education and employment opportunities.

Of course my opinion only so DYOR

There are two words to explain his response. VESTED INTEREST.

Even in the scientific community we have individuals who put self before other.

That is why we have victims of a drug Thalidomide around the world and there are many, many more examples.

Hey @Rocket577
You like graphic cards and were excited by what you have read about AKIDA, Nviso and frames per second. I wonder if the fact that Brainchip and Nvidia have some sort of relationship could have something to do with the following story. We can all dream just a little from time to time:

'Nvidia could beat AMD to the punch by quite some distance when it comes to getting next-gen graphics cards to the market, or at least that’s what the latest rumor from a prominent leaker suggests.

Kopite7kimi on Twitter just dropped a brief – and admittedly somewhat unclear – tweet which seems to assert that Nvidia RTX 4000 GPUs will land early in Q3 (bear all the usual caveats around rumors in mind, naturally).

This is a follow-up to a tweet from last August in which Kopite7kimi said that Lovelace (presumably RTX 4000) graphics cards would emerge a “bit earlier” than thought, and the leaker now asserts they’ll arrive “Q3 early”.

Presumably that means early in the third quarter, which would seem to indicate July, the first month of Q3. However, maybe it could mean early August – which is still relatively early on, and certainly much sooner than previous rumors have suggested Lovelace will turn up. This could spell trouble for AMD, of course, in terms of RTX 4000 being able to establish a beachhead well before the arrival of RDNA 3 GPUs.

Analysis: Let’s treat this one with extra caution

Another possibility regarding the meaning of this brief tweet is that it could simply reaffirm that Nvidia is going to hit a Q3 launch, and that is earlier than expected – but it’s a badly worded message if that’s the case. If so, this might point to a September launch at the end of Q3, but then again, September is a date we’ve already seen floated several times for the Lovelace launch, and this tweet would then hardly represent an update or new info.

So, that way of reading it doesn’t really make sense to us, which leads us back to the conclusion that RTX 4000 could debut before September, although there’s another question that must then be answered: are we looking at a paper launch? Or an actual cards-on-shelves timeframe?

Who knows, frankly, but if Kopite7kimi really is putting up the theory that even July might be a possibility for Nvidia’s plans, then we surely can’t be talking about on-sale dates, but maybe just a first initial reveal or teaser."

The leaker has not felt the need to clarify any of these questions, many of which have been raised in subsequent replies to the original tweet, so for now, we’ll exercise more skepticism than normal around this one, and classify it as one of the vaguer pieces of speculation we’ve seen on Lovelace.

What we can take from this – with a whole lot of caution – is a broad indication that Nvidia’s next-gen graphics cards might be here a bit earlier than we thought, and that they could get the drop on AMD’s RDNA 3 offerings which may not appear until Q4 going by some rumors (although September has also been suggested as a date for the RX 7000 series to kick off)"

No opinion just speculation because of @Rocket577 's excitement about the opportunity for AKIDA to deliver unrivalled performance in a graphic card setting, Nvidia and Brainchip meeting up casually in out of the way places and second half of 2022 has been labelled by everyone at Brainchip of note as when things will start to 'heat up' or should I say 'cold up' because of the technology advance that AKIDA offers ie no cooling.

What I can't understand is why BRN cannot formulate an update for shareholders and the Australian audience, via ASX release, regarding all their fingers in all of the various pies, without divulging info subject to NDA's. I feel like there's alot of information available publicly but only a select few have the insight to read every page in this forum, and the BRN website. I feel like the europeans and Americans are up to speed with where we are at, but your average aussie is unaware of what this amazing company is about to unveil upon the world. I reckon many of the benefits will be recognised by non-Aussies despite BRN being an Australian company. Id also like the local media to be on the ball to raise BRNs profile locally. And of course result in a feeding frenzy, hopefully.

Hi Jimmy, Perhaps do this one for the team........ or anyone else feel free to contact Tracy.....

(Pitch it as a "feelgood" story that will change the lives of everyone in Australia and the whole world."

Sounds like a crazy idea, but imagine what a story like that could do to the company's exposure :)

A chip load
Do you think they could sell more chips if they gave a free fish with every order.

This is a green selling point. They would donate ‘x’ number of fingerling to environmental groups repopulating rivers with native fish based on the size of the chip order. 🧐🤠😞
