I agree but on the known facts of which there are few:

1. Phd or not he may have an IQ of less than 100. There is significant research around this area and as I mentioned once before there is a Harvard graduate with an IQ of 90.

2. The fact that he leads with his Phd suggests he trips over his ego on a regular basis.

3. A true enquiring mind would seek further information before making a pronouncement.

4. He may have an agenda such as seeking a research grant to do what Brainchip has already done. We have prior evidence of this occurring.

5. He may be chasing a position at Intel and has a vested interest.

6. It’s a comment on social media he may be a lab assistant just out of high school.

Before we suggest that there is any issue at Brainchip’s end consider the known facts:

1. @uiux a non PhD has mastered the technology.

2. @Diogenese a retired engineer has mastered the technology.

3. NASA, DARPA, ISL, the US Airforce, Mercedes Benz, Valeo, Vorago, Renesas, Socionext, MegaChips, SiFive, Nviso and Intellisense have mastered the technology.

4. Arijit Mukherjee, Arpan Pal and at least ten other engineers at Tata have mastered the technology.

5. All the new staff at Brainchip on all the reports master the technology.

6. The people at Noisy Gut Belt, Biotome and NaNose have mastered the technology.

7. Rob Lincourt DELL Technologies and staff mastered the technology.

So while your point is valid I think on this occasion the problem is not with AKIDA.

Good points and totally agree - confident in the technology. My comment speaks to the challenge of removing friction in the adoption/sales process, which I think SH, JN and RT have the skill set to manage. It’s a complex sell by any measure and the speed of success will be tied to the customer and user experience - both throughout the sales cycle and once adopted. This guy whether he has an IQ of 90 or 160 needs to be able to grasp it quickly and not be put off… although as you said he may have an agenda etc. Not enough information but it’s feedback that shouldn’t be dismissed. I don’t want Akida to be a Betamax!

Emailed Tony last night and he stated the amount of abuse his received from shareholders, sure the report wasn't good but is it Tonys fault
That is really poor form. Some shareholders need to grow up.

Fascinatingly Intuitive.
Morning Chippers,

I don't suppose anyone has contacted Tony Dawe concerning the release of the latest Top 20 holders list.

I remember someone from BRN stating this would become a standard event going foward, it has accompanied the last two 4C updates, yet this one they have not for some reason.

I will give TSEX members an hour to get back to me with a answer, if knowone has contacted Tony regarding this, then I shall give him a call.

Regards,
Esq.

Cybersecurity in HPC environments operates at much larger scales than traditional IT domains and the traditional Machine learning networks are not fast enough to handle large volumes of computations. Neural networks combined with Edge-based hardware-resident next-generation technologies such as neuromorphic processors can monitor and even predict events in high throughput environments and hence provide an up-and-coming solution to cybersecurity in HPC. To that end, we propose to develop a real-time HPC-scale neuromorphic cyber agent called Cyber-NeuroRT. Cyber-NeuroRT will be a real-time neuromorphic processor based monitoring tool to predict and alert cybersecurity threats and warnings using an ensemble of unsupervised and semi-supervised Machine Learning algorithms. Cyber- NeuroRT is a combination of software cum hardware appliance with neuromorphic processor chips and this will be installed at a server level or at distributed node-level for cyber threat detection. It uses Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs) to learn new attack vectors in addition to labeling known attacks and uses an ensemble of semi-supervised and unsupervised algorithms. Cyber-NeuroRT is a combination of hardware cum software appliance with neuromorphic processor chips that can be installed at a system level or at distributed node-level for cyber threat detection. Neuromorphic based processors excel in identifying patterns and intrusion detection with over 100x efficiency as compared to a GPU based system. In addition, neuromorphic systems can learn to adapt to novel attack vectors. We will use different training techniques like CNN to SNN conversion, direct backpropagation training through surrogate gradient methods or local unsupervised Spike Timing Dependent Plasticity (STDP) enabled approaches. Neuromorphic hardware appliance will have the ability to connect up to 64 neuromorphic processors if additional processing power is required. The neuromorphic processor-based system can surpass the traditional intrusion detection tools (IDS). Some of the features of Cyber-NeuroRT shall include: (a) Ability to monitor, predict and provide system wide alerts of impending cybersecurity threats and warnings by collecting and prioritizing data from real time logging tools/ analysis tools including Zeek (Bro) Logs, PerfSonar, ftp logs, user behavior data, or any type of relevant logs, and other types of sensor data including IoT devices, HVAC, power systems, etc. Initially, we will work on Zeek (Bro) log files in Phase 1 and 2; (b) Ability to process the data system-wide at an unprecedented scale enabling adaptive, streaming analysis for monitoring and maintaining large-scale scientific computing integrity; (c) Training SNNs through direct backpropagation training is computationally expensive due to the gradient descent updates through time. So, potentially we could train our models using ORNL’s Summit type super computers and then perform actual detection of threats using neuromorphic processors; and (d) In addition to neuromorphic processors at the server level, we will also provide an option to process larger Machine Learning Models that can be hosted on next-generation neuromorphic systems under development.

Someone let him know it's still sinking, what a flog
Some of you might be interested in my still ongoing exchange with Motley Fool Australia on Twitter over their quite misleading article about the BRN share price sinking on the back of a disappointing quarterly report. In my latest tweet I have said to them:

'If you allow the article to appear in news feeds after circumstances have changed then yes it is misleading as you openly admit. How about some responsible journalism and you take the article down now.'

They keep responding so I keep firing back. I notice one or 2 of you have also challenged them. I think it's well and truly time we did. I'm really tired of their downramping and nonsense.

Just a quick update.

Received another email overnight from the founder of Orbai AI in California, he thanked me for the connection with Brainchip and has a meeting with the team on Friday...Brent the founder also sold a gaming program for $860 Million USD at the age of 24...he's had 3 very successful companies to date...I think we have crossed paths at just the right time, as they are in the same space as us, are looking for a partner who specialises in SNN's in hardware, they have been specialising in SNN's using software and GPU's, so you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realise that we are more advanced than them and can immediately add value to their company, check out some of the heavyweights that they are already partnered up to, with some great communication we may end up sharing in their client base....equals revenue.

Behind every door is an opportunity just waiting to be hatched, it's simply knocking on the right door at the right time.

The known knowns, the known unknowns and the unknown unknowns are accelerating at a very aggressive pace.

The strength of the share price might suggest that the known unknowns and the unknown unknowns, know more than those who think they know the knowns.

On this basis now might not be the time to think you know but to wait for the known unknowns and the unknown unknowns to become known at the very least.

I seem to be on a mailing list from Edge AI and Visual Alliance. Their latest email to me includes this from Intel:

Also, this link seems like code used to write this detection?? Way beyond my pay grade, but some of you may find it interesting. I hope I am not wasting your collective time, it just seems like Intel are just so far away from us, thankfully.

Hi LuWil,

Thanks for sharing, great find, I was just looking at Quantum Ventura Inc other SBIR's and came across this, seems relevant to me, it expired 13th Oct 21 & it talks about "high-performance neuromorphic processors and algorithms to provide a low power, real-time detection system with high accuracy and low false alarm rates."

Abstract
Improving detection of illegal threats and materials passing through US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Ports of Entry (POE) is sought by the DHS S&T. Concerns for both materials and persons at these border crossings limit the type of inspection tools that can be used safely. Although current systems are capable of screening vehicles and large freight containers and conveyances, maintaining and running them can be expensive. Additional detection technologies that offer similar or improved material discrimination and object/anomaly detection are thus needed. Quantum Ventura Inc has partnered with Bodkin Design & Engineering (BDE) who are hyperspectral imaging specialists with over 3 decades of proven experience. We propose to develop and demonstrate a portable contraband detection system. Our solution employs a unique combination of hyperspectral imaging (HSI), Transient Infrared Emission Spectroscopy (TIRES) and high-performance neuromorphic processors and algorithms to provide a low power, real-time detection system with high accuracy and low false alarm rates. For Phase 1, we will conduct exhaustive trade studies, design a system capable of detecting opioids and simulate optical systems using tools like Zemax and predict performance. In Phase 2, we will build and demonstrate the imaging system and its ability to rapidly scan conveyances, cargo, or other complex surfaces, at standoff distances and at speed.

Is this a riddle?
And if it is, is the answer:

The known unknowns knows that the unknowns knew that the knows are really just unknowns?
