I recall he may be assisting DK6161 with another BRN article on MF. Maybe he is on holidays and taking a well earn break from posting jibber on TSE

I have clarified

to distinguish between the TeNNs patent and the newly granted Australian one-shot patent:

"Basically the patent provides a means for discriminating between "spatio" data and "temporal" data and processing them appropriately, ie, it recognizes an object and where it is at any particular time in a way that is much more efficient than current methods.

Scratch that. These comments relate to the TeNNs patent application. I have a few people on ignore so I missed the reference to the Australian one-shot patent grant.

Apparently @mcm was asking about the Australian one-shot patent grant, not the TeNNs.

The one-shot patent does add additional neurons to the last layer under human control where the system identifies differences between a new object and other objects in the class. The new neurons serve to identify the new object.

That is, a human operator types in the name of the newly classified object
."

Hmm, very rare that Valentina posts like the one above - could be something more in this one........
Maybe the boss has spoken and she’s been told to start earning her money instead of sitting around doing nought, like a few others I guess

Perhaps tomorrow we will see a post from Pia Turcinov about Brainchip, rather than everything else she posts about that is WA related :)

But on a serious note what has she done for BRN? Has she been instrumental in any benefit? Can anyone name even one thing at all?

Always interesting thoughts and dot joining by all on this forum and I’m going to chip in given the researching by many on TSE linked to NDA’s, partnerships, employee movements etc

Was it TSE forum members that initiated departure of two salesman a lot quicker given highlighting Wavious and their names? Investigation then occurred by BRN management to determine fact and fiction?

You would think with both of them leaving there would be a non compete clause in their contracts but maybe BRN management didn’t think this was necessary when setting up their conditions of employment etc.

Also did the BRN BoD know a key sales , revenue etc. we’re coming anyway by end of 2024 / early 2025 so called Rob’s and Nandan’s bluff on leaving and the rest is history? You can always leave on good terms regardless how it ended up.

The above can and do happen with many companies and how they find out employees are looking elsewhere etc. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t when management have to make a call (if they have a choice).

Pure speculation on what happened but as Tech has said he has moved onto another challenge whether that is at Wavious or elsewhere. As always DYOR.

Have a great week !!
It does make you wonder. TSE members discover 2 key sales staff are (possibly) moonlighting on BRN or its partners. Company spokesperson denies it, and weeks later they both leave under a cloud of suspicion. Was management alerted to the alleged moonlighting by TSExers and pulled the trigger on their employment? One wonders. If anyone knows, his holiness would know , and I don’t mean Tech 😂. He’s just a naughty boy 😁

Interesting that it's a picture of the Engineering Sample and not from the 2nd run of chips?

Would be really nice to know what numbers of both were produced, but we will never know.

Or it does say "B02" (batch?) so maybe the 2nd improved run, was also marked as ES?

Event based vision solution? Surely we're in there?!
Prophesee's sensor "is" event based.

AKIDA is a natural fit, but their Metavision solution, doesn't currently include our IP.

Possibly asked before but is BRN in this linked to Renesas using latest M85 chip from ARM?

Comments from Amir Sherman updated 5hrs ago on LinkedIn below
(Steve Thorne (BRN) and Coby Hanoch (WBT) are both connected with him)

It is amazing to see NVIDIA TAO Model running both on Jetson Orin Nano and on Renesas Electronics latest Arm CortexM85 - RA8 Family.

Also this extract below from BRN website that many of us have seen before.

The integration of Akida and the Arm Cortex-M85 processor is an important step forward for BrainChip, demonstrating the company's commitment to developing cutting-edge AI solutions that deliver exceptional performance and efficiency.

Anyone wish to rule out this connection based on BRN connection with Renesas and them using the latest Arm M85 chip?

Kria runs Zynq CNN but hey, that obviously good enough for Prophesee to do what it's designed to do.

Prophesee imo would probs just be happy about partnering with big names as they can get Prophesees product to the masses...AMD, Sony, Qualcomm....

Doesn't matter at this point how good a fit Akida would be...down the track once Prophesee build their supply chain into products maybe but by then...plenty other players at it now.

This is the most recentest AMD NN patent application o be published:

AMD are under the impression that NNs are software run on CPU/GPU.

[0003] FIG. 1 is a block diagram of an example device in which one or more features of the disclosure can be implemented;

[0024] In various alternatives, the processor 102 includes a central processing unit (CPU), a graphics processing unit (GPU), a CPU and GPU located on the same die, or one or more processor cores, wherein each processor core can be a CPU or a GPU. In various alternatives, the memory 104 is located on the same die as the processor 102 , or is located separately from the processor 102 . The memory 104 includes a volatile or non-volatile memory, for example, random access memory (RAM), dynamic RAM, or a cache.

https://www.amd.com/en/products/system-on-modules/kria/k26/kv260-vision-starter-kit.html

The Kria KV 260 uses OnSemi Image sensor processor AP1302 ISP and Zynq development processor - this is a demo, not a mass production commercial product.
