"Cutting edge" is just a term thats used to define something that is new and advanced in that field. Or to give someone a cutting edge, it means you have an advantage over your competitors. Generally when you see the word cutting edge, they are not referring to edge devices.

Just to confuse you even more, it could be used as follows:
Brainchip have a cutting edge technology that provides IP utilised in edge devices, enabling its customers to benefit from a cutting edge solution😂

By the simple fact that the amount of data that is going to be generated with all these devices, then the cloud etc wont cope. Also the latency created with sending data to the cloud and for a reply will not suit many applications. Also the power savings doing a lot of the processing at the edge will be a winner. The edge will serve a very useful market. IMO

Yes MD what you write about is what I mention in my bracketed paragraph.

The issue is we never know which of the many reasons for this being done is in play and therein lies the problem.

Why does the ASX not have a code that tells me it is a cross trade between related parties?

Why leave me and others to wonder?

Where is the transparency?

How does anyone know that massive numbers of shares that realistically should be properly traded on the ASX adding to liquidity are being dealt with in this manner?

We are told that we have to put up with short sales because it is good for liquidity yet they permit a situation where if you have sufficiently large holdings you can trade with other large holders outside the normal market which reduces liquidity????

No idea but all I know is all the exchanges are taking from Australian shares so all my plan is is to trickle feed them my shares at each $2 then every dollar after like a slow tap. So I see it as a good thing for us despite us not seeimg it straight away. With a crosstrade of 4 million like yesteday I agree we should be made aware what entity name was and I believe we will get to know. Onwards and upwards and keep on swimming, keep on swimming, keep on swimming :) happy Saturday :)

“How do we change the whole world…” truth is much of the work has already been done, the market is now coming to us. The realisation that connected AI's restrictive reliance and demands on memory, connectivity, data and power consumption is starting hit home.

We find ourselves in this position not by accident. Our founders had the foresight and conviction to pursue and develop the solution before the problem even existed. The hard work of our team over the last few years and continuing to this day in developing and delivering our technology, patents and partner network has us perfectly positioned. Connected AI has its place, but equally and perhaps more importantly in terms of scale of application so does edge AI. What Akida brings, be it stand alone or in conjunction with connected AI is undeniable.

What a great week, feels like the beginning of something special.

This means if my maths is correct 36,000 images of nothing happening is being sent to the cloud for processing to find and report 36,000 times nothing happening every hour on the hour 24 hours a day.

This results in masses of probably useless data being stored in case it is later needed.

Enter AKIDA technology because it is compatible with every sensor and every process the carpark owner can slot it in between the camera and the existing processor and it can monitor the 10 fps for events and only when an event occurs in a frame does it pass this frame/ photo on to the processor as meta data to send on to the cloud for further processing.

What this allows is the camera to run at higher frame rates (Nviso runs at over 1,000 fps with AKIDA) and resolution (even colour) while still dramatically lowering energy consumption and with dramatically reduced bandwidth and cloud storage saving running costs at every stage while reducing latency and improving accuracy.

I’m confused. How can someone buy 4,000,000 shares at .49 cents after trade closes? If this happened during open trade, there wasn’t 4.000,000 shares on sale at .49? It would surely have had to push the price up considerably to cover the 4mil??? Obviously I’m missing something?? 🤷🏻‍♂️
Hi GF, not 100% sure but could be an off market transfer. I do this every year as I transfer shares from my company into my SMSF. When this transfer takes place I do not know how ASX calculates the volume as a traded volume of shares.

In my opinion Cognitive Communications has huge potential.

Just think about going for a drive and you see standing in the middle of the road a policeman.

You obey his signal to stop. He walks up to your car window and advises you that a bushfire has closed the road 40 kilometres ahead and tells you that you need to use the alternate route to get to your destination.

In today’s world the Police Officer is often replaced by traffic Apps that tell you the best route to take.

This is what Cognitive Communications are all about. Choosing the best route for digital communications to be routed so that too many messages do not go the same way causing congestion or log jams.

In space radio communications are routed to Earth via satellites and at each satellite AKIDA will allow decisions to be made as to which is the best route to take.

On Earth you will know about 3G, 4G and 5G networks. You may even have heard they are working on another upgrade a 6G network.

In this technology age as more and more devices are made needing connection to the Cloud networks are quickly reaching capacity.

It’s the weekend and I am going to digress slightly with a light example of how the South Australian Stockexchange operated in 1971. A friend and I went to school in South Terrace in year 11. In year 12 I continued on and my friends father got him a job in finance whereby he commenced as a ‘Chalky’ at the Adelaide Stockexchange.Over his first 6 months his parents were very proud of him that he invested his money into two flashy cars - an MG and a GTR Torana . When he asked if he could purchase another one in the future his parents said he could trade up or do something else with his wage .Later the following year the police rang the home number and informed his father that they pulled over and apprehended three people who had stolen his car and if he could call in to No1 Angus Street and sort out the release of the car back to him and explain why he had not reported it missing .Well didn’t the shit hit the fan with my friend. His dad grilled him and he had to own up to to his practice of parking the extra cars he bought by parking them in the street close to where he lived . His dad also found out that most of his weekly wages went into tips he heard from the brokers and traded in those tips until this incident arose . He had accumulated 6 additional vehicles outside the two at home . The one the police had in storage as having been stolen was a GTHO Phase 1Falcon .Of the cars parked close to home was an RT Valiant Charger. A 360 V8 6litre . His dad arranged another job for him so that he could get out before being caught . They were the days .

What's going on with them? I've just had a look at their website. On the one hand I wonder what has become of pickle and his favorite stock, I mean us. And on the other hand I see that they are churning out superficial articles in bulk. Is that what all the fools do? Who pays for that? I mean, today alone he has cobbled together 18 articles, if he even knows what's all about.
When he was still writing about us I at least had the feeling that he was taking it personally. Now he produces articles in mass. Are they paid per article?

I picked out an article that recommended buying shares before a next week. And at the bottom it says quite clearly and obvious why. They hold the stocks that they recommend in this article! 🤷‍♂️

Even if AKIDA is adopted by say 30% of all these Edge applications the other 70% will still be there trying to send this collected date over networks to have it processed and stored in the cloud.

This is where even if it is not adopted at the Edge AKIDA will be needed to make networks as smart or cognitive as possible to handle the avalanche of demand that is going to crush existing and future networks.

Not as sexy as autonomous Tesla vehicles but still a massive market.

BTW, I bought BRN roller coaster 🎢 ticket from 7cent , still buying (any pocket money hinding from my wife ) and still holding . Just a little bit nervous about recent increasing this time . Even I can feel the BRN’s difference compared to before.
I also learnt a lot from here, from you.
Wish this ride will last longer to it’s real value.
