Can someone please explain to me how you can have 3x the amount of buyers and 3x units wanted and still the SP drops.
Not that it matters to me as I’m in for the long haul.

Yes.
As has been stated here and elsewhere on numerous occasions there appears to be a certain level of manipulation of our and many other stocks on the market.
We retail investors with relatively modest sums to risk are on the very short end of the stick with our limited options of Buy, Hold or Sell at market retail rates for each transaction.
Large players/ entities who effectively own the market have set it up as something like a casino, with "the house always wins in the end" as their eternal motto and primary reason to be.
Utilising vast sums of borrowed capital and with a whole set of tuned tricks, proprietary software, stables of tame trolls (rapidly being superseded by AI enabled programs) and tried and tested true tactics, unavailable to the vast majority of retail, they run the show opening and closing the market each day, both before and after retail has access.
Retail is effectively fodder and like the great whales with their bubble traps and coordinated hunting strategies we are grazed upon and manipulated by our own greed and fear.
Usually we can but ride their wake scrambling for the scraps they leave behind, except when the occasional unexpected event occurs, usually driven by
genuine news.
At these times, whilst the Leviathan's and Kraken's dispute outcomes amongst themselves and realign their positions, suddenly shifting vast quantities of shares from column A to column B, the turbulence created can allow opportunities for those who have prepared and positioned themselves for just such an occurrence.
Whilst these events can be few and far between, timely entries, exits and re-entries with sufficient personal capital can see worthwhile profits made and unfortunately, many times evaporated.
I have learnt to have a plan to stay alive long enough to benefit from the possible contingency's.
Just need to control my own greed and fear.

As the old saying goes, "your method is your message" and I do get frustrated at our method from time to time, as for the $$$ wrapped up in this, these are the little things we should be kicking ass in.
