I think commercialising a nascent technology in a high inflation world and a current bear market has heavily influenced price action this year. Management has little to do with that.Donot you think the sp reflects the experience and work of management?
as one example shorters started their game approx 2 years, and they become merciless since it was 50 cents and management is coming out and telling us
a. Shorters will do what they have to do.
b. Akida 1000 was not robust enough to support the sp. ( I think that is what motley fool was saying for a year)
Yes the prices look very opportunist but a solid calm from management is not helping the holders.
How will someone invest in a company when things are going down freefalling and management is looking as spectators.
Contrary to that AI is the hottest topic right now and price of Nvidia is an example of that.I think commercialising a nascent technology in a high inflation world and a current bear market has heavily influenced price action this year. Management has little to do with that.
As a fact sp has declined beyond anyone's expectations. So right now saying someone troll or manipulator is irrelevant. Right now the strategy of trolls and manipulators is working and holders are hiding while company is giving them nothing to hide.A couple of flow of consciousness thoughts.
It hurts to see the value of your assets fall. 100%. We all respond to that hurt differently. Those of us that have been here for a while wish we had sold some or all at north of a dollar let alone over $2. But if we didn’t then that opportunity has now unfortunately passed.
Every day we still have a choice to sell or hold or buy more at much lower prices. As the price has fallen regret and hurt come together.
Our choice to hold though (as investors as opposed to traders) is influenced by our views regarding the likely success of the company and our ability to manage our emotions. These emotions include hurt, regret (or anger) and also fear of missing out.
To those that respond to this hurt/regret by abusing other forum members (both positive and negative) it won’t help BUT it will ultimately destroy the value of this forum and the research and insights of many to all genuine shareholders. Please try to play the ball and not the player. Facts and issues are useful, slander, abuse and rudeness are NOT.
To those that are trolls or merely posting to influence others to act as they want them to, you suck. Genuine holders should put them on ignore because they seek to pray on our emotions.
For what it is worth I am holding because I remain convinced that success is probable (not guaranteed) but rest assured I ( like all holders) am hurting.
If it goes a lot lower I will buy more (in the absence of any info that makes me less inclined to think the company will be successful).
I do not expect the Gen 2 announcement to push the share price up but hope I am wrong. I don’t expect an IP announcement to be linked to the gen 2 announcement but once again hope I am wrong.
I am concerned that Gen 2 prospects now need to start the 2-3 year assessment/design process over but hope I am wrong. I would welcome other more knowledgeable thoughts on this issue but suspect that it may depend on the magnitude of the difference between the design of gen 1 v gen 2. I am not knowledgeable enough to have a strong view on this though. Dio and others may have more to add in this regard.
I do think there is an element of truth to some but not all of the dot joins and much of the positive views on the prospects for success. I remain very confident that the company will be successful and try to divorce the hurt from the share price decreases to keep a focus on progress and the overall prospects of the business. We have cutting edge tech in a massive growth market. Competitors are few and a small sliver of market success will pay big rewards. Of course, success is not guaranteed but apart from new IP agreements and revenue (which are of course the true measures of ultimate success) we are heading in the right direction. If the share price was strong we would all be happy and positive.
For what it’s worth I also believe the company would have done some things differently if they had their time over but they are learning from these. Ce la vie.
I also don’t think the company is lying or trying to mislead us. If I was of this view I would probably sell.
I look forward to shouting some beers at a future AGM where success is clear but if that never happens then I will try and learn from the experience and manage my emotions.
Good luck to all of you ( except the trolls and manipulators).
I did exactly the samealso topped up to a nice round number only because easier to workout how much total worth is.

Rgupta, there’s other more influential factors..The last time there was a pressure on share price was when LDN had to sell, then PVDM joined the party and there were a few million LDA shares were ready to be sold. But the SP goes down as low as 35 cents. Since then it recovered quickly upto 50 cents and then to 70 cents and then merc announcement.
This time company did not care for institutional holders and for them a few million this way or that way does not matter. They can keep the sp down for long time even after some average announcements.
I really feel management kept it for too long and a recovery in sp may take a long time without a big IP contract.

Haha just saw this.. Yeah it’s a huge factor..I think commercialising a nascent technology in a high inflation world and a current bear market has heavily influenced price action this year. Management has little to do with that.
I think AI has peaked in terms of its initial hype cycle.. Look at the leaders are all back into correction territory..Contrary to that AI is the hottest topic right now and price of Nvidia is an example of that.
Every company working in AI is bouncing back even in this inflationary environment.
But if the company will not communicate for more than 2 years that is what you will get. A matter of fact is brainchip could not come out with any revenue for more than 2 years. The only time a revenue was visible on sale was 4 million dollar to megachips but the same money is still recoverable ( or they already become bad debts) anyone's guess.
Yes dot joiners can keep on joining left, right but their is nothing coming out from company.
By who buddyAnyone who is not sure if the release of Akida of 2.0 will be definitely happening by end of this week, don't be.
The release of Akida 2.0 general availability is confirmed to be happening either tomorrow or on Friday, (mostly like Friday)
And it will be announced via ASX.
Yep your blowing smoke out your back side. If you dont understand what race is on to develop AI to highest capabilities then your living in the past.I think AI has peaked in terms of its initial hype cycle.. Look at the leaders are all back into correction territory..
It will just take more time to swing around..
The real explosive period I believe will be in the early part of the next decade..
At the beginning of cycles I follow which is the early 2030s, you get young people becoming prominent, disruptive technologies, and innovation in tech in general at the bottom of its boom cycle..
2010s tech boom and IPhones
1990s Internet
1970s I have no idea.. Maybe industrials, energy and agricultural disruption..
Go back a lot earlier, the telegram, the telephone, the automobile.. Soon it will be flying taxis..
Never in the timeframe we want unfortunately..
Hi mate, thank you for your response. All though I agree with some of the things saidHi FM,
The problem is that all our potential customers are delaying making any decision on using Akida. The board doesn't seem to be flexible to do deals. The head of world wide sales has departed 12 months to the day he commenced. The board clearly wants us to follow the ARM IP revenue model ie through licensing but the companies interested in us are too small to produce their own chip. The ARM model might work for $1000 phones, but why would it work for a $50 door bell? If it's too expensive for us to produce a chip, how can we expect a sensor manufacturer to? Somehow the board seem disconnected to sales. What potential customer would give any credence to year old tweets from Renesas, MB etc.? Why is it not possible for Sean to pick up the phone and ask those two companies for an update tweet? Why is it so hard to get the ball rolling? The one thing Sean promised was that we would not end up like betamax video recorders. But that exactly where we find ourselves - unless there is an announcement on the ASX regarding the formal release of Akida 2, and a timeline for distributing it to some customers.
mate, could you please provide a link? This is crazy if it’s true. I can’t find anything googling for itAnyone got any further information or opinions? View attachment 45630
Have seen this around also. I too have asked to provide a link. And they can’t.mate, could you please provide a link? This is crazy if it’s true. I can’t find anything googling for it
At the moment hidden institutions and individuals happily short BRN shares and accumulate more for dirt cheap prices.
The outlook for BRN in 2024 looking positive with Valeos Scala3 and others likely to start bringing in visible quarterly revenue.
When revenue arrives, the hidden hands will stop shorting, for a while, instead institutions and individuals will aggressively push prices higher.
Social media will likely pump the stock again with institutions then selling back to retail.
the stock will likely reach new all-time highs as company vision meets incoming revenue.
At this new all-time high peak, the stock will again be heavily shorted.
After that the crystal ball gets a bit hazy.
Spend 2 bucks and find outHi mate, thank you for your response. All though I agree with some of the things said
