Yeah, had a look through the course of sales, and it's incredible the number of 2 figure trades there have been today. Not sure the %, but has to be pretty high.

We're now half way through the day and the volume sits at 510,100. The lowest volume for a day this year was 2,686,383 back on 4th May. The way things are going, today could beat that low easily.

Yep, it's quite interesting.
I've got around 6m on a daily chart but you are correct 3rd/4th of May were the lowest.
Interestingly enough, a 50% rally occurred almost immediately after!

The trouble is that Qualcomm and Sony manufacture their own chips. So one of them would need to license Akida, and this would require an ASX announcement.
My thought is that Prophesee would be the licensee as they are (apparently) integrating it with their vision sensor. Whether or not Qualcomm chose to use it for other functions is another question altogether.

Good to see Brainchip Akida name up on display in presentation by Tomas Navarro, European Space Agency at 6m48sec

Aerospace Technology & Applications neuromorphic computing video from 2022

Description
Devices that fly or travel through space are some of the most SWaP-constrained systems and need neuromorphic advantages more than any other. We will discuss the latest developments and plans in this area.

Maybe in a hypothetical senario, to give Sony and Qualcomm the ledging edge 'they' in the interim go through a 3rd party until everything on their end is sorted out this avoids showing their cards and going public.

I would suspect if Akida is truely groundbreaking as the tell us there is going to be a lot of backroom deals done like we have never seen before. IMO
I donot think they need a 3rd party as well. They may had signed an NDA and keep on working on our product like a partner and tell the market just before commercialisation.
We know the announced partners and that is why we jump on every product from those partners but there can a few other partners hiding under the EAPs and or NDAs and Sony and Qualcomm can be one of them.

This may help some understand the process on disclosure and how certain conditions (boxed) may come into play for interpretation from a BRN / EAP / NDA view.

Particularly 2, 3 & 5.

Haha, of course, just after I've posted this, someone has decided to put a 500,000 volume trade on. Just like that, we've gone up 1,200,000 in just 15 min.
Somebody blinked!

If Prophesee and Brainchip were partners and combined the sensor and processor. Maybe they just share in the profits and no licence would be required. Watch the financials.
Just guessing DYOR

In the article I posted earlier it stated....
'A development kit offering compatibility between the Snapdragon platform and Metavision sensors is expected this year.'
Pure speculation, but are they waiting for Akida 2.0????

I really really hope you're right. Prophesee outsource their chip making to Sony. But the only Akida licensees so far seem to be renesas and megachips. Maybe Sony is a client of MegaChips? Who knows? That would need to be the type of link we need.

Mabe this is what Peter was referring to when he mentioned that the market did not understand the significance of the Brainchip/Megachips licensing deal????
