It really does seem to fit this SNN rocketship team called Brainchip. Just trying to help spin some thoughts.

True, and I am also hopeful of smelling scorched arse, but all the while they are making good coin on these transactions with the volatility. It's pleasing that there are plenty of LTHs around, and at least a decent proportion of the top 20 (top 20 hold 45%) aren't selling or trading - so if the big announcement comes then a fire may get lit - but these are sneaky bastards and generally have some sort of forward sniff (not suggesting leaky boat at BRN at all - just that this is the business of Shorters and they are generally good at what they do, even if I despise them). So they may get a bit hot at the end but will have good profits to draw from on closing I suspect.

BrainChip Tapes Its Akida AKD1500 Out on GlobalFoundries' 22nm Node, Proving Its Portability

Now proven on a new node, BrainChip's Akida platform is likely to become a tempting target for those adding AI smarts to new chip designs.

BrainChip, a specialist in artificial intelligence at the edge, has announced that its AKD1500 Akida chip has been successfully taped out on GlobalFoundries' 22nm fully-depleted silicon-on-insulator (FD SOI) process node — proving that the core technology is portable between fabricators.

"This is an important validation milestone in the continuing innovation of our event-based, neuromorphic Akida IP, even if it is fully digital and portable across foundries," explains Anil Mankar, co-founder and chief development officer at BrainChip. "The AKD1500 reference chip using GlobalFoundries' very low-leakage FD SOI platform, showcases the possibilities for intelligent sensors in edge AI."

Inspired by the operation of the human brain, the Akida AKD1500 processor operates on spiking neural networks — solving problems expressible as such in a fraction of the power draw than rival machine learning hardware. The company launched its first commercially-available chips in January last year, after releasing a limited number of development kits based on the Raspberry Pi or an Intel-based miniature PC the year before.

The news comes hot on the heels of the addition of support for Akida devices to the Edge Impulse platform, which company co-founder and chief executive officer Zach Shelby claimed at the time "will provide users with a powerful and easy-to-use solution for building and deploying machine learning models on the edge."

Proving that its design is portable will be key to wider adoption of BrainChip's Akida technology, allowing users to license the IP for inclusion in their own chip designs — as RISC-V pioneer SiFive announced in April last year — and allowing future generations of the chip to benefit from easy portability to more efficient process nodes as they become available.

More information on the Akida processor is available on the BrainChip website.

Yes but they are taking huge risk to make $$$. At least when they buy and sell we lose anywhere from 10-80% losses. If something goes bang, some of the shorts will need to get out quick or 100-1000% losses are possible. It's a dangerous game they play, but sometimes they will do well, especially when a stock is held by so many retail investors. They prey on the weak, just like a fake tradie ripping off grandmothers for fixing their roof leaks or fixing their gas/hotwater tanks. Moral compass certainly point straight south.

Outstanding email from Tony Dawe and hopefully will get be taken on board by over zealous share holders.
Imo brainchip are making all the right moves and there is a lot of hard work happening behind the scenes.
All we have to do is exercise a little patience a day I truly believe that we will be rewarded in due course.
Thank you for sharing @TasTroy77

Like to think someone who sees additional value growth in the SP and essentially will get paid more than the $65k

It's happened again! Bought more!

Pay day and BRN are low 60's still!!!

These shorters are going to accidentally make me rich, by my so many small purchases when I can afford to. They are adding up. I'll have to shout them a beer if they keep this up lol.

I have also seen another poster eating 2 minute noodles while buying shares. I believe I will have a buffet of 2 minute noodles AND my tin spaghetti this fortnight.

Cheers everyone. And yes, even though most of us don't complain, we would all like to see the price sky rocket. Hang in there.

Would I be right to assume, that the 100 million odd outstanding shorts reported, would most probably be lent out from a proportion of the top 20 or so shareholder assembly?
May even be some naked shorts in the mix?o_O

Interesting to note the spike in LinkedIn followers in January

I have monitored since March 2022 and January 2023 is the highest total of new followers since May 2022 - likely a result of the mid December Intel Foundry Services announcement

I think LinkedIn is a decent gauge of BrainChip brand proliferation amongst industry professionals
