The actual answer is Punch and Waah Taah 😂
But I'll except water and milk.
I'll sort the subscription out a bit later on today.
Most generous of you Rise. I didn't expect to "win". However, having won the subscription I intend to keep it going. Nice boot up the arse and an appropriate way to show appreciation of this forum and its estimable founder.

Dio, This guy, Stock Swami, is well intentioned. Defamation is what it is but I feel for him. He's been attempting to blow the whistle on unscrupulous players for a long time. Many years ago I held shares in a company Chameleon Mining (CHM) and Stock Swami absolutely wrote this company off as a bad investment. Unfortunately I bought the shares prior to reading his opinions and research. Chameleon mining delisted and of course investors lost their dough. Led to a court case with one of the directors, Gregory Barnes facing charges. Unfortunately our markets are infiltrated with fraud and ASIC are the biggest underperformers, so pathetic, especially when it comes to looking after the interests of mum and dad investor's. Sorry for being off topic.
Yes. I did not post it to support the "victim", just to show that we need to exercise caution when discussing their nefarious goings-on.

You've discovered my dastardly plan🤣 that was and is my plan, to get non subscribers to keep up with the subscription once the 1 month subscription is over.
Glad to hear you'll keep it going.

Unrealistic expectations of CES by some people on this forum is for Akida to be mentioned in keynote presentations by any and all companies speaking.

Mercedes let the cat out of the bag mentioning Brainchip a good while ago, also released a poll that the topic of neuromorphic won and STILL haven’t released a discussion about the topic…the silence says it all. They are keeping the secret sauce, secret, until they are ready in their marketing campaign.

If you are expecting feedback from Brainchip and/or it’s partners to disclose what potential customers displayed interest in our tech, you are just leaving yourself open to disappointment. Look how long it has taken for Socionext to begin a relationship with Brainchip and the time it took their product to come to market that has our tech in it. No slight on them at all, but that’s the product life cycle of something so complex with an early customer (imagine all the kinks that need ironing out, learning how to approach problems and optimise processes with one of your very first customers).

We are still in the midst of commercialisation - our tech has already been validated by so many major players (We’ve just joined Intel Foundry Services if you missed that), strong partnerships forming (NVISIO, Edge Impulse) who ooze enthusiasm about Akida, and neuromorphic technology starting to gain mainstream appeal. Given the limited time in a work day, what more do you expect from our company in such an important growth stage, in these economic circumstances and with a war raging?
It would make sense if Bosch were licencing Brainchip IP for their sensors in MERC vehicles moving forwards ... and not wanting to take away from their branding.... just speculation.

Here’s some more, I asked the same question but slightly different….

Brainchip partners include a variety of businesses, organizations, and universities that use Brainchip technology to enhance their own AI capabilities:

1. Microsoft
2. Schneider Electric
3. NVIDIA
4. SuperMicro
5. Lenovo
6. SoftBank Robotics America
7. AMD
8. Baidu
9. Cisco
10. Dell
11. Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
12. United Nations Global Pulse
13. Foxconn
14. University of Oxford
15. Kinetica
16. Advanced Micro Devices
17. Huawei
18. Edge Impulse
19. Sierra Wireless
20. Realtime Technologies

Crazy 😝 😂
Yet none of the ones officially announced 🤔 oh excluding edge impulse

Just figured out that you can Search for a Keyword in the Youtube Transcript.

Then you can click on it and to move to that spot in the video.

It makes it so much easier finding something you heard somewhere during a 2-hour video. Quick find, rather than listening again and waiting. You can also Toggle on or off the time stamps in the transcript, which makes it more readable and cut-n-paste paragraphs without time stamps and tabs.

Hope that helps others.

Thanks for all of your contributions @stuart888 and especially this tip for searching youtube clips I had no idea you could do that!

Brainchip’s partner Renesas is more than automotive:

Renesas commits to Matter support on all its wireless chips

Business news | January 6, 2023
By Nick Flaherty
SOFTWARE & EMBEDDED TOOLSWIRELESS COMMUNICATIONSIOT

Renesas Electronics has launched its first development kit that includes support for the new Matter protocol at CES 2023.

The company will also support Matter on all future WiFi, Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) and IEEE 802.15.4 (Thread) products, including products from recently acquired Dialog Semiconductor and Celeno Communications.
Matter is an application layer protocol that abstracts the underlying connectivity technologies such as WiFi, Thread and Bluetooth LE. It aims to provide interoperability for smart home devices with secure connections regardless of the manufacturer.
Using a common software stack allows device manufacturers to support various smart home ecosystems and voice services. Smart home users will be able to buy any Matter-certified device regardless of their platform of choice.

The first Renesas product supporting the Matter protocol is the DA16200 Ultra-Low Power WiFi Modules Development Kit which provides year-plus battery life for always-connected WiFi IoT devices.
The DA16200 also supports Renesas Quick Connect IoT through the Ultra Low Power WiFi Pmod Board. It is fully integrated into Renesas’ e2 studio for easy system development.
The move is significant as Renesas has more than a decade of experience in Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi and has shipped over 600m devices.

Connectivity Standards Alliance

“We’re delighted to see an IoT leader such as Renesas commit to supporting the Matter standard. It’s another indication of the positive momentum the standard is generating across both device and equipment makers,” said Chris LaPre, Head of Technology at the Connectivity Standards Alliance, which formalised the Matter 1.0 specification in December.
“As the embedded processing leader, connectivity is a critical part of our IoT solutions,” said Sean McGrath, Vice President of the Connectivity and Audio Business Division in Renesas’ IoT, Industrial and Infrastructure Business Unit. “With our broad range of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi solutions, and Thread products in development, we’re well positioned to take advantage of the Matter standard in a variety of applications working with customers worldwide.”
Renesas is sampling the DA16200 Development Kit with Matter support to lead customers now and expects to release it broadly by the end of this quarter.

This is possibly and interesting article from this grab that I have been able to capture and the author has written about Brainchip and AKIDA previously so does know something of its existence and place in the eco system:

"Seven semiconductor trends for 2023

Feature articles | January 2, 2023
By Nick Flaherty
MPUS/MCUS MATERIALS & PROCESSES OPTOELECTRONICS QUANTUM

7 Neuromorphic AI

Neuromorphic, or spiking AI, is set to become mainstream with specialist accelerators alongside microcontrollers, and, just as importantly, the tools to use them "

Immediately under this grab which will not open for me is another of his articles which also will not open now but covers Renesas taping out AKIDA MCU's.

I suppose it had to happen that AKIDA would become mainstream and no longer be Science Fiction but until then Science Fiction, Science Fiction, Science Fiction, Science Fiction, Science Fiction, Science Fiction........... to infinity plus one. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓👩‍🎓👨‍🎓👩‍🎓👨‍🎓👩‍🎓

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
Howdy Brain Fam,

I've been keeping a bit of a low profile today because I discovered a phantasmagorical Mohito recipe last night and have been suffering the consequences of my reckless abandon and exuberant over-indulgence today.

So with that said, I'll try to make this as coherent as possible. Remember back in November 2022, Nils Shanz, was appointed Chief Product Officer at Cerence. Well, it just so happens that before that, Nils was responsible for user interaction and voice control at Mercedes and he worked on the Vision EQXX voice control system (which, needless to say is five to ten times MORE EFFICIENT than conventional voice control systems thanks to BrainChip's AKIDA).

Well, Nils Shanz is cited in the first recent Cerence announcement linked below. And the second recent announcement refers to Native Voice. bAck in December 2022, Chris Smith liked a post that John Goscha (Founder of Native Voice) made about Native Voice being chosen by iHeart Media to build the voice Assistant for iHeartRadio Audio Content.

What all of this means is anyone's guess but between you, me and the lamp post, I would't be at all surprised if we're involved in some of this action whether directly or indirectly IMO.

I was going to underline some of the interesting bits but my eyesight is still a bit bung, so please accept my sincere apologies and don't forget to drink responsibly unlike yours truly.

CES 2023: New Voice Assistant And Auto Integrations Unveiled For iHeartRadio.

  • Jan 4, 2023 Updated Jan 4, 2023

iHeart RADIO 2019

iHeartMedia announces a new series of voice assistant and automotive integrations for its iHeartRadio streaming service. The news was released ahead of CES 2023 in Las Vegas, which runs Thursday, Jan. 5 through Sunday, Jan. 8.
The integrations include Cerence, Fisker Auto, Native Voice, TomTom, and VinFast.

  • Cerence, an industry leader in mobility AI, will deliver new paths to access iHeartRadio’s portfolio of audio content to automakers and their drivers. When combined with its voice recognition and natural language understanding, Cerence unlocks a seamless iHeartRadio infotainment experience that automakers and mobility OEMs can leverage for drivers across the country, iHeart says.
  • Fisker will include the iHeartRadio streaming app in the entertainment system of the Fisker Ocean all-electric SUV, the centerpiece of which is a 17.1-inch touchscreen. The integration will provide customers with access to iHeartRadio’s extensive lineup of radio stations.
  • Native Voice, an on-demand voice assistant library that enables users to communicate directly by voice with their favorite brands, will offer direct access to iHeart’s library of live and on-demand music, radio, and podcast content via voice. Early this year, anyone with a Skull-IQ enabled Skullcandy device (Grind, Grind Fuel, Push Active) can say “Hey iHeart” for hands-free access to iHeartRadio content without having to download the iHeartRadio app.
  • A new TomTom Digital Cockpit integration will allow car manufacturers to offer iHeartRadio seamlessly on the vehicle dashboard display. Through one single interface, iHeart says drivers can access personal playlists, podcasts, and live radio stations, ensuring a frictionless listening experience in the car without having to connect their smartphones since the feature comes natively integrated into the in-dash infotainment system.
  • VinFast and iHeartMedia have joined forces to bring all the features of the iHeartRadio app into the infotainment system of every VinFast electric vehicle sold in the U.S., scheduled to begin hitting U.S. roadways in early 2023.
“At iHeart we are committed to providing companionship to our listeners through our massive roster of on-air radio personalities, unmatched lineup of podcast talent and the reach of our local broadcast station brands,” John Vermeer, Executive VP, Digital Distribution and Platform Partnerships for iHeartMedia said in a release. “Our partnerships with some of the most innovative companies in voice and automotive technology help us continue this mission by ensuring our content is available to consumers where they expect it today and where they will expect it to be in the future.”

So, the 4C should be in, in a fortnight, and it's hard to expect any significant business development before then, as only renesas and megachips have licensed our ip.

I don't think we are doing enough to force Renesas' hand to use our IP. It would be hard to see renesas not producing a publicly available chip with akida ip if they have a client asking for one. They have only ever doubled down on their own DRP AI solution, and have even bought out whole software companies to get it to work (reality.ip).

I don't see that we have an infinite amount of time to land a deal. What we need is very very simple. A three way deal with a sensor maker, and megachips and us to produce a product that can be purchased. In the mean time Renesas are screwing us just as Edison stuffed Tesla and it's high time we sent them their invoice, collected the money and phoned megachips. If renesas can not show BRN a timeline for sale of chips with akida it's time to take them on.
