BRN Discussion Ongoing

So glad to hear it all went well @Rise from the ashes
Thankyou Maxi, still dealing with blood- curdling screams when he attempts to number 2. ☹️
Looks like I got a bit to catch-up on today's chat. Only had glimpses of chat but am I correct in thinking that their is a good chance Mercedes will be chatting about us at CES?

Groundbreaking AI

We are proud to announce that we just surpassed shipping more than 2 billion AI-capable products to date. Making us one of the biggest AI companies in the world and the AI Inferencing leaders at the edge

Our fastest and most advanced Qualcomm AI Engine has at its heart, the powerful Hexagon processor.

Brand New Architecture

The Qualcomm Hexagon processor is the most essential element of the Qualcomm AI engine. This year we added new architectural features to the heart of our AI Engine. Let’s dive into them.

Dedicated Power Delivery System

With a dedicate power delivery system we can freely provide power to Hexagon adaptive to its workload, activate the performance all the way up for heavy workloads or down to extreme power savings

More Hardware Acceleration

We also added a special hardware to improve group convolution, activation function acceleration and doubled the performance of the Tensor accelerator

Micro Tile Inferencing

Our unique approach to accelerating complex AI models is by breaking down neural networks into micro tiles to speed up the inferencing process. This allows, the scalar, vector and tensor accelerators to work at the same time without having to engage the memory each time, saving power and time

Hexagon Direct Link

We are now enabling seamless multi-IP communication effectively with Hexagon using a physical bridge. This link drives high bandwidth and low latency driven use cases like the Cognitive-ISP or upscaling of low resolution in gaming scenarios

Enabling INT4 for the Qualcomm AI Engine

We successfully enabled transformation of several DL models from FP32 to INT16 to INT8 while not compromising on accuracy and getting the added advantage of higher performance at lower memory consumption. Now we are pushing the boundaries with INT4 for even higher power savings without compromising accuracy or performance.

Qualcomm Sensing Hub

The latest generation of Sensing hub has more horsepower with an additional dedicated AI processor to support audio, sensing and camera-based experiences, becoming the most powerful ultra-low-power AI architecture in the industry.

Unified AI Software Portfolio

Qualcomm® AI Stack is a comprehensive AI solution for OEMs and developers, supporting a wide range of intelligent devices with broader AI software access and compatibility. For the first time, a single AI software portfolio works on every Qualcomm Technologies platform spanning the wide range of Connected Intelligent Edge products

Oh my goodness gravy!!!!! Check out this awesome 6 minute video called "THE EDGE OF POSSIBLE". Qualcomm has teamed up with Michelle Yeoh of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon fame, to explain the benfits of AI and how it will change our lives. OMG, there are sections in the video which discuss driver recognition, drowsy driver detection, etc. It's a real doozy!!!!!!

Great video. Exciting times ahead.

Chippers,

Thought the shorters would of been closing out their positions by now....

Bit like wandering into Death Valley with a empty water bottle ......

Esq.
One would think that the short sellers would start closing but
Sydney botanical Gardens palm section had an on going problem with Flying foxes as they came to roost in the canopy of the palms causing damage. The short sellers are like those Flying Foxes and have came to roost in BRN and it doesn't look like they are going away anytime soon.
Eventually the flying foxes left as the garden used annoying sounds and they found a new home.
Hopefully BRN's annoying sounds big announcement will be enough to convince the short sellers to find a new home.

CES will be trend-setting in various respects (?)
„A spat on the Mercedes board?
Development boss Schäfer is said to be the subject of internal criticism“

The Manager Magazin writes: "Quarrels in the realm of the stars. It claims to have learned of internal squabbles in the executive suite of Mercedes-Benz, makes them the top topic and titles the exclusive research as follows: "Why Mercedes development boss Markus Schäfer is coming under fire" (Paywall) According to this report, the house is in a very bad way in the executive suite of the Mercedes-Benz Group, which is always outwardly so unanimously turned towards the electric future and luxury orientation.
Markus Schäfer has a lot on his shoulders: He is supposed to get the electric-only strategy rolling in the form of cars that people want. He's supposed to fix it. He's supposed to develop it. He's supposed to do it. He's the man. This position gives him a lot of influence in the Group. In return, he enjoys the full confidence of CEO Källenius - at least until recently.
As Manager Magazin has learned from insiders, the relationship between the two high-ranking Mercedes managers is apparently beginning to deteriorate. According to the article in Manager Magazin, which is usually well informed, Schäfer is having an increasingly difficult time internally.

Internal criticism of Mercedes development board member: "Blunders on central projects.
Where things should be moving in the direction of the future in the Schaefer division, there are obviously sometimes major snags. For example, in the new production facility "Factory 56", which has been showered with much praise, the premium upper class models EQS and S-Class have been assembled here for 18 months - but Factory 56 is far from excellent premium manufacturing quality. "Already, readjustments and repairs have to be made; there have been recalls. In any case, the next plant will not be built according to the Hall 56 concept," whispers one person involved to Manager Magazin. Oha, of all things Factory 56 is weakening - it was supposed to be the blueprint for the digital car factory of the future. So now its concept for Mercedes-Benz production facilities to be built in the future is being discarded again?
The sales figures for the high-priced e-cars from Mercedes-Benz are not really taking off either. The sales figures for the electric flagship Mercedes EQS, for example, are lagging well behind the original plans. Only 8,400 orders for the EQS were placed by customers around the world in the first half of 2022. The sales plans were much more ambitious. The Mercedes-Benz Group wanted to sell 50,000 units of the EQS worldwide in 2022. The star can probably collect this target for this year, especially since the sales figures for the premium E-models with the star in China, by far the most important Mercedes market, are so disastrously low that Mercedes-Benz has already had to react with considerable price reductions. Ouch! Is the EQS possibly underdeveloped for the market? Mercedes boss Källenius is unlikely to spare his development board this question.

Esq.111

Fascinatingly Intuitive.
Afternoon TasTroy77,

Ease off the fruit bats, shorters are a completely diffrent genus.

Yes , I cannot fathom the current short position, albeit from three to four day old reported data....... if thay can be bothered reporting their true position ...to the alleged authority.

Very rough guestimate, must be well over $100,000,000.00 AU liability. Foooooooooook.

Only thing I can think of is if thay ( know doubt Instos. & Hedge funds) have .... some how the capacity to offmarket transfer said shares to one another through diffrent avenues/ global durastictions etc.

And yes I appreciate the above $ is a mere bagatelle in the scope of global hedge funds ,etc, less than a morning's trading purely for shits and giggles.

Regards,
Esq.

I read somewhere that bats don't have an arsehole and defecate out of their mouth whilst hanging upside down.
I guess they are similar to the shorters and downrampers over at HC and MF. They are literally talking shit😁😁

Blind Freddie claims that Brainchip is going to TRANSFORMER his life.

The more one reads about using Transformers and the advantages they bring to NLP (natural language processing) and vision processing the power that AKIDA can deliver at 300 gigahertz comparable with a GPU running at 900 gigahertz gives AKIDA a huge advantage over every other current technology as they all come with huge power budgets when running transformers.

Blind Freddie apparently thinks this is one of the reasons why Peter van der Made is so confident that the release of this next generation IP with transformers and LSTM will take the technology lead out to at least five years.

Blind Freddie says his only regret about being unable to see is that he will never get to glimpse the Brainchip North Star burning brightly over in Perth at Christmas.

Thats interesting. Natural Language processing, followed by Neuro Linguistic Programming which can assist with things such as education and people with disadvantages.

Neuro-linguistic programming is a way of changing someone's thoughts and behaviors to help achieve desired outcomes for them. The popularity of neuro-linguistic programming or NLP has become widespread since it started in the 1970s
