Just having a squiz at the Northrop Grumman web site and did an Akida search on the off chance of a hit, and this article pops up.
It doesn't mention Akida but is an article on neuromorphic camera technology, uncanny.

One thing I've never really understood about NM cameras is what happens with slight movement of the camera or the subject?
Like I get the advantages of only transmitting "changed" pixel data like photon intensity, but if that camera was to vibrate or move slightly wouldn't the entire image be shifted by at least 1 pixel? Couldn't that cause a complete data dump of the pixel grid? Maybe I'm overthinking it.

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
Can't wait for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. In this article which was only just published online 5 hours ago says Sony Honda Mobility promises that it will announce something big in Las Vegas on January 4!

I also noticed that it states "Sony Honda Mobility has promised that Level 3 autonomous driving will be possible". All I could think about after reading this was Christophe Perillat's (CEO Valeo) previously statement which seems to indicate that Level 3 can only be achieved with " an extraordinary sensor, a lidar that only Valeo manufactures in the world".

I'm pretty sure that Honda already has level 3 available on the Honda Legend vehicle.
Perhaps it is now going to be released on all models or maybe they are going to level 4?
Whatever, it will be exciting.

Edit.
Apologies @Bravo it appears that Sony Honda Mobility is a completely seperate Co to Honda.

Oops, looks like Sony Honda Mobility is a completely new Co established in Sep 2022.

This bit is interesting too.
I wonder how quickly they can detect and intercept one?
Maybe even active shields for soldiers?

"This paves the way for a huge range of different applications — from active combat systems detecting and defeating a bullet, to self-driving cars interpreting dangerous situations almost instantly."

Two more potential Akida displays?
I normally feel a bit “meh” when it comes to seminars but the 2023 CES has me feeling giddy. It’s shaping as if Valeo and mercedes are ready to showcase what they have ready and will be manufacturing thru 2023 ready for 2024 release. I feel they might blow the shackles off the secrecy around the specs and there is no more assuming akida is used it will be hard facts.

Good Morning Chippers ,

I tend to keep notes on numbers as memory lapses occasionally.

Below are notes on Brainchips share price for this time last year.

With the plethora of new engagements it is amazing to see us back here.

CRAZEY CHEAP.

Hold onto your hats Chippers .

Regards,
Esq.
Such an elegant human being with that hand writing honestly such a pleasure to see this

Spot on.

This is something I've posted about before in relation to using DVS in cars. My guess is that they set the threshold to compensate for the camera movement, but it seems to me to be pretty complex.

Here is a patent application which addresses the problem:

WO2022117535A1 DEVICE FOR COMPENSATING FOR MOVEMENT OF AN EVENT SENSOR, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Applicants COMMISSARIAT ENERGIE ATOMIQUE [FR]

The invention relates to a device (16) for compensating for movement of an event sensor (12) in an event stream generated by the event sensor (12) during observation of an environment in a time interval, the compensating device (16) comprising: - a compensating unit (34), the compensating unit (34) being able to receive data relating to the movement of the event sensor (12) during the time interval and to apply a compensating technique to the event stream generated by the event sensor (12) depending on the received data so as to obtain, in the time interval, a compensated event stream; and - a control unit (40) for controlling the compensating unit (34), the control unit (40) being able to control the compensating unit (34) via transmission of data relating to the movement of the event sensor (12).

Love your work here Esq. Great to reflect on how things panned out with Brainchip back in January.

Sorry, can't help noticing you stated 'Speeding Ticket (TICK)'. Did you happen to write speeding ticket down before it was given out, and as soon as it was so wonderfully received you gave it a big tick, haha.

Wonder if it's going to be another very interesting January coming up. Maybe time to go stack up on the popcorn!

Morning SharesForBrekky,

Cannot recall to be honest.

Have to agree, extremely exciting times are upon us.

@zeeb0t or others. Is there anywhere I can check on this site of when I paid my membership?

I have a funny feeling I'm due or nearly for my 12 month sub?

With Rob's recent podcast mention of transformers, I did a bit of research and this video gives a good explanation for a simpleton like me.

Where your ears ringing? I was also seeking to improve my understanding of this topic and have been looking around myself. Thank you for this post.
Yours, dippY

Thought the shorters would of been closing out their positions by now....

Bit like wandering into Death Valley with a empty water bottle ......

I'm still thinking/hoping that we are working with Droneshield. They had a great announcement today that a Government agency placed an $11 million order.

Might also be worth some 1000 eye digging on Epirus, also mentioned in the announcement.
