I have one that I'm currently using, I got my magnifying glass out to see if what I thought I was looking at, was in fact what is in my laptop currently, and it is.

Great bottle opener as well.

Thanks, Tony, for last year's Christmas present, this year I hope to receive an AKD 2000 reference chip, thanks Santa!!!🙃;):ROFLMAO:
I want one too

Nothing is new here for the 1000 eyes but IMO are worth keeping together, chippers rushing to catch up on posts may have missed them :)

Once again we engage our common sense, logic and reasoned analysis in relation to what is unfolding before us.

Is AKIDA the AI SONY is using in their NEW camera and other items offered in this new demo

first offered in this thread by @Baisyet

Below is an article depicting our partner Edge impulse offering support and processes for companies like Sony to get AKIDA in their products

We cant forget the last podcast in which the CEO of Prophesee raved about Akida and the opportunity the Prophesee and BRN partnership offers.
Here is what Prophesee CEO Luca Verre had to say

IMO these links cannot be made any more clear.

No announcement from SONY, BRN or their partners.
Just Brainchip execs aiming for 100 staff by EOY offering support to global companies to apply the AKIDA IP in their products because it is going to be the global standard for AI.

Brainchip is on the right track to commercialisation on a scale we will not be able to fathom for years to come.

NDAs and EAPs are causing a viod in information to excite the market but they are hiding the work being actioned behind the scenes.

Mercedes is one example as FF just discovered using his logic.
View attachment 21131

How many of these examples are current waiting for the right time to reveal themselves in full.

Just as Edge Impulse did today as outlined by BaconLover and FF in earlier posts

"some months ago a poster asked Edge Impulse whether they were using AKIDA in FOMO and it was denied."

Today we have this being openly advertised
View attachment 21132

These NDAs are a pain in the arse for a company’s share price but for customer relations they are invaluable.

Right now I’m happy to accept the silence to allow the likes of SONY to mass produce products with our IP.

Once in the market, having first to market advantage and a product that is far superior to any other available the royalties for BRN will be exponential.

The CEO hasn’t lied yet, so I will sit back and allow these comments directly from him to be executed.

https://www.commsec.com.au/market-news/executive-series/2022/brainchip-holding-brn.html

  • We will be in the black by EOD 2022.
  • We are building a large sustainable company
  • Akida will become the global standard for AI and
  • By the 2023 AGM I will be standing before you discussing results not activities.

I will remain patient.

Brilliant post Falling Knife!

I also think it is pretty clear that Sony, if not using Akida IP already at least be abundantly aware of the capabilities of Akida. I also like that Brainchip has their booth in the background of this video. And I like that edge impulse have chosen to do demos with Brainchip and be present at the brainchip booth despite a Company like Sony is doing demos with them as well.

I think you links a pretty strong and the picture is getting clearer and clearer every day.

I cannot wait for the day we can finally start seeing the fruit of their labour and everyone doubting Brainchip, selling early and trash talking will be left with their beard stuck in their mailbox. Excuse the Norwegian expression, I just find it hilarious translated into English 😂

Wouldn’t mind if anyone could work out approx what percentage of shares in retailers hands,if on the day after the 4c‘s fall, let’s say the shorters got 20million back, then the days after say 5-6million,knowing that 90% of trades are fake or manipulated, like today I counter 24 trades in a row fake under 100 trades to low 20 trades. Over today and yesterday trading/manipulation got back to normal 6-8million.
Shorters needed the last 4c to push the price down from mid $0.80 to todays range, until the 4c came out they were struggling big time to get sellers, Now the sellers have dried up again, knowing how many I hold and my mates hold in there super accounts and won’t sell, makes me wonder where the loose shares will now come from for the shorters to close out there positions,I suppose they have up to $1.30 to close as that’s where the largest amounts were shorted from.. point being if you haven’t sold yet, odds are you never will,so where are the shares coming from For them to close.

I just saw a report on the TV about Sony's PTZ dome camera, I found it very interesting and of course I googled it right away

Sony introduces full-frame PTZ camera
The FR7 is a pan-tilt-zoom camera. Such recording devices are primarily used for surveillance - but: the new one from Sony can also produce feature films. A product notification.

In nuce: Sony has announced its FR7. Sony's FR7 is a motorized, remote-controlled, pan, tilt and zoom camera equipped with a full-frame CMOS sensor and Sony E-mount. According to the manufacturer, the FR7 is the world's first full-frame PTZ camera with interchangeable lenses. PTZ stands for Pan-Tilt-Zoom - so it is possible to pan and tilt such a camera via remote control. PTZ cameras are usually used as security or surveillance cameras. Sony's FR7 should be available for purchase from November this year.

Some of the technical specifications of Sony's FR7

-10.3 MP BSI sensor: dynamic range of more than 15 f-stops or ISO values of up to 409,600
-4K video: up to 120 frames per second or 1080p up to 240 frames per second
-Various image presets - including: S-Cinetone and Cine El with S-Log 3 Gamma, Wide S-Gamut3 and S-Gamut3 color spaces
-Pan and tilt: With a speed of 0.02 degrees per second - for extremely slow movements
-Preset camera positions: Users can save up to 100 such positions
-Timecode synchronization between multiple devices: supported
-Real-time Eye AF and real-time subject tracking for autofocus
-ND filter: this is already installed and electronically controllable. The manufacturer advertises that thanks to the built-in ND filter, there is no need to change objects manually
-Two slots each for two different formats: as with the FX3 and A7S III from Sony, users can either use two UHS-II SD cards or two -Type A CFexpress cards. In other words: the FR7 allows you to record, accept a maximum of two cards of one type. In other words: two of a type or one each of a type

Just highlighting this video again that @Rskiff originally provided. At the 7.43 ish mark, Tony talks about the key technologies converging to disrupt every sector of the economy, AI/ Machine Learning is top of the list of 12. He also talks about the time taken for previous adoption of previous disruptors, the car, the smartphone, uber...in some cases these disruptors taking almost a decade. Then, at the 11 Min mark he talks of how the Technology adoption S curves are accelerating taking only years and maybe only months. Worth a watch, sorry daughter calling out for cuddles.

Rob Telson intimated that there would be a role for Akida with Prophesee in mobile phone cameras.

Prophesee had to make compromises which impacted performance when using their EVS with conventional cameras.

But, with Akida, they can "... push performance to levels that are unprecedented in the industry."

... but if it was any good, Nvidia would have already bought the company.

Learning
Well, at [0049] they claim to have on-chip learning for their SNN, but I doubt that Ella would be happy with the extent of the disclosure.

[0035] An example of the first machine learning model 210 is an unsupervised spiking neural network (SNN). The unsupervised SNN can be adapted to input data based on plasticity rules similar to those in the human brain, such as spike-timing-dependent plasticity. The unsupervised SNN will be discussed in detail below. It would be appreciated that it is feasible to apply other machine learning models having a capability of self-ordering to adapt to the input data in an unsupervised learning manner.

[0048] With the self-ordering characteristics of the unsupervised SNN, after the new input data is processed, if the new input data has new features, the neurons in the first machine learning model 210 based on the unsupervised SNN will respond to the new features, thereby changing the weights of the mutual connections, e.g., updating the parameter set values.

[0049] In some embodiments, the first machine learning model 210 based on the unsupervised SNN may be designed as a lightweight model. In some embodiments, the first machine learning model 210 based on the unsupervised SNN may be run on a neuromorphic chip in order to further improve the processing efficiency
.

[0040] The second machine learning model 220 may be configured as any machine learning model capable of performing a classification task. Examples of the second machine learning model 220 include, but are not limited to, a Reinforcement Learning (RL) model, a CNN, an RNN, a support vector machine (SVM), a probability model, a linear classification model, and the like. The classification task to be performed by the second machine learning model 220 is not limited and may, for example, be any of a binary classification task, a multi-classification task, anomaly detection task, and the like.

Now isn't that odd that, in [0040], they don't list a SNN among the machine learning models capable of performing a classification!?

Hi @Sirod69 ,

Sorry. That looks like a curt answer, but on TSEx when you start a post and then get distracted and then come back and start another post, you can't see the first partial post until you post the reply.

Quadric are/were using MACs and "includes processing circuitry (e.g., microprocessor or the like) that function to create instructions that include scheduled computations or executions ". Akida does not implement programme instructions.

US10474398B2 Machine perception and dense algorithm integrated circuit is 4.5years old, so it is possible that Quadric have filed patents in the last 18 months which are not yet published.

you know @Diogenese, sometimes it's not quite that simple. Edge Impulse just posted it back to LinkedIn, then back to Twitter, etc.
If I read something about a company here, I try to look for connections on LinkedIn, who is with whom, etc... then I network with employees of this company who already have contacts in common with me and well, then everything opens up German, English, French etc.
I found it great, that Steve Roddy has 10 contacts together with me;)

There have been a number of these reports out lately.
The rankings posted in these reports probably don't do us justice.
I have feigned interest in buying some of these reports and have been sent larger samples to peruse.
It has become clear that they have the same problems formulating a cohesive picture of the merits of Brainchip as we do.
The information to study is just not available. We of the 1000 eyes do a better job at extrapolating answers from our dot joining.
This was confirmed this week by a family member who works for those little elves that carry their gold around in sacks, whilst in head office in NY, he asked around for an opinion on Brainchip. No opinion due to lack of info.

Shorn Hair has been too busy putting together the final touches of imminent licensing agreements and helping Markus Schäfer write his blog post on Neuromorphic computing 😛.

Ps: Duy-Loan Le what an inspiring lady, an excellent career, reaching engineering pinnacles within Texas Instruments (they make more than graphics calculators) and her philanthropic endeavours.
There must being something in our IP?

There are bright bankers, but there´s also far in between. I think 1000 eyes is the right way to go and I wish I could create a forum like it for more general stock talk. I tried some times and failed, not in gathering people, but gathering people who contribute. In general smart people are busy, but Brainchip attracted some pretty smart people.

Mercedes Midsize Electric Sedan Coming In 2024

Autocar reports that Mercedes is planning a counterpart to its C Class sedan as the first electric model in the ‘Entry Luxury’ segment. In terms of technology, however, the new car will differ from the companies current electric sedans, the EQS and EQE. The electric counterpart to the C Class will be launched in 2024 as a CLA-size 4-door sedan with technologies from the Vision EQXX concept car and will be complemented by an AMG offshoot a year later.

Electrive says the electric C Class may be slightly shorter than its combustion engine counterpart. The current C Class is between 4.75 and 4.79 meters long, depending on the variant. The current CLA comes in at 4.69 meters. The new model, potentially called the EQC Sedan, could be a few centimeters shorter than the current C Class vehicles.

The new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) will serve as the basis for the midsize electric sedan. That means it could offer more interior space than the C Class despite having slightly smaller exterior dimensions. Since there are currently no models based on the MMA, no technical data is available yet. Electrive expects it will be at or slightly above the level of competing models such as the Polestar 2, BMW i4, or Tesla Model 3.

Robert Lesnik, head of exterior design at Mercedes, tells Autocar the AMG version of the new sedan will feature active aerodynamics based on the EQXX, such as a movable diffuser and an active spoiler. The EQXX is only 1.35 meters high, which compromises rear seat passenger comfort. Presumably the new sedan will depart from the EQXX concept enough to address that shortcoming.

So what are the chances that Merc aren't using AKIDA in this mid-sized sedan? With such stringent NDA's in place I'd like to think that Merc are protecting this particular competitive advantage. This car is aimed at the younger demographic by the look which has been suggested before as the perfect test bed for new tech. I think the cone of silence will exist until the 2024 release. I suspect most of our customers are in a similar developmental timeframe so perhaps we can't expect any major announcements for a couple of years. The SP will suffer until that golden 4C is presented in which revenue outpaces expenses - perhaps the next one 🤔
