Hi Diogenese ,Hi Kachoo,
Unfortunately you did misread. The context of the paragraph is about outgoings.
"Incur" means to take on the burden of something.
We spent $0.77M on third party licences and hardware developing the next generation SNN.
No techie at all, but don't we have ARM in our chips?Hi Diogenese ,
Concur re “ incur “ outlook , hehe
But I’m having trouble over “ third party licences “ ?
Do you have any thoughts on what this may mean ?
I’m Just spitballing,
Could BRN have purchased licensing, to assist in its next AKIDA development , is it poss LSTM related ??
Is it along the lines of a JAST licence purchase ??
I have no accurate idea as to the direction of these words ?
Can you help enlighten me
BTW , always appreciate and love your highly valued input

Yep, all good with that aspect SG.Hi K
As far as I’m aware Brainchip brilliantly bought the sole license to JAST a few years back.
Good times!
Cheers for the reply Diogenese ,Hi Kozikan,
Well we already have a licence from ARM because Akida includes a Cortex processor. However, when we licence the Akida IP, the licencee is free to choose any suitable processor they wish. Selection of the processor is not difficult because Akida is processor agnostic.
As to your question, I have no more idea than you as to what we are licensing in. It relates to future developments which are under wraps.
We also paid for third party hardware for the future developments, so maybe the licence is related to software for the new hardware?
That is an interesting comment from you Tech?An announcement dropped with 2 hours left in the trading day would pump us north of $1.50 in a heartbeat.
It would send shorters into an unescapable vortex of panic !!
BUT...we all know our company will always honour the NDA's in place and totally respect ALL our current clients/partners and future ones.
So if nothing is of material substance at present, we'll have to wait, and avoid getting a speeding test from the ASX just for being
excellent corporate citizens...does a 20% gain or more trigger the ASX's florist to get those large secateurs out and cut down those extra
long poppies ?...or is that just an Australian thing ?
Maybe they are afraid that someone will grab this one! -Why are they trying to hold down 1.205

Are you hinting at something? Lets face it we've been waiting a long time now for any significant ASX announcement. Other than obviously the 4Cs
HahahahahMaybye they are afraid that someone will grab this one! -

No @MDhere - these promises must be delivered in person! It's the personal fun and joy of the transaction that counts so you canot use the tip function.
Ok I’m$7.96 nice
Coming from an Aussie website, it would have been nice if they mentioned that Brainchip was founded in Australia rather than based in Cali."The Vision EQXX’s electronic brain uses something called neuromorphic computing, a form of information processing whose hardware runs so-called ‘spiking neural networks’ that mimic natural ones, firing only when certain thresholds are reached.
Developed in conjunction with California-based artificial intelligence (AI) specialist BrainChip, the system is said to significantly reduce energy consumption. For example, Mercedes claims the “Hey Mercedes” voice control system in the Vision EQXX is five to ten times more efficient than the setup in current production cars.
All this hardware and software makes the Vision EQXX ridiculously easy to drive while achieving extraordinary levels of energy efficiency"

Tech I'm waiting for 2.00pm now....lol
So about 2pm you say @TECH ??Don't mean to offend anyone, but the Tall Poppy Syndrome is and has been alive and well in Australia ever since I arrived
on these great shores 37 years ago...a company pumps 20% or more and certain companies seem to draw unwanted
attention, lets put the brakes on this mob, as in, get the secateurs out...I don't believe any announcement is coming out
today for the reasons I've mentioned, but live in hope, BUT respect that the company will deliver when the time is right.
"Just One Big Name" that's my favourite thought for the next 6 months, we will renew our undisturbed track northwards, quicker
than many could envisage...we all have opinions, and those are mine, right or wrong, I own them.
Tech x
