Hi - i just want to mention- 1) Brainchipinc.com- Monthly Newsletter due for publication- last one was -7th June 22- out any day now.

and 2) - the hours away soon to be released Podcast - VPWS - Rob Telson with CMO Jerome Nadel to -
"discuss the opportunities for BrainChip’s neuromorphic technology to become the de facto standard in AI at the Edge."

We have all heard those words before- so no bones about it - and the only Commercial Available Neuromorphic SoC.
Should be interesting- both the Monthly News Letter and the Podcast.

Seems Shikino High Tech who has recently acquired a stake in Magik-eye has alot to do with Renesas :)

Renesas and Shikino appear to be tied at the hip with Intelligent cameras. Camera Shikino High-Tech Object detection, facial recognition etc etc

I will be looking foward to seeing what comes out of this. They appear to have a tie with Daitron Japan as well but haven't been able to find too much on that connection yet.

Dear place

June 7, 2022, Shikino High Tech Co., Ltd. MagikEye Inc.

Notice of capital business alliance with MagikEye Inc, which has advanced technology for 3D sensing

Accelerating camera module development targeting the growing 3D sensing market

Shikino High Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shikino High Tech) has advanced technologies for 3D sensing. (Headquartered in Connecticut, U.S., hereinafter, Magic Eye) has acquired some shares and signed a MOU on the joint development of camera modules utilising this technology. This partnership is the first step towards the future collaboration between the two companies developing products and technologies regarding the commercialisation of cameras for 3D sensing cameras, which have been particularly growing in demand in recent years. We plan to conclude a joint development agreement for commercialisation after consultation between the two companies in the future.

MagikEye Inc. CEO, Mr. Touji Miyazawa, said: “We have developed our own three-dimensional measurement algorithm: ILT (Invertible Light Technology). By simply adding an ultra-small laser projector designed with this technology to your existing camera module, you can achieve high speeds of up to 600 fps and a low latency response of up to 2 ms. You don't need to make major changes or resources to your CPU or SoC. By collaborating with Shikino High-Tech, who has high technology and proven track record in camera module manufacturing, we are confident that we can market in the 3D sensor products required by various businesses at the fastest possible."

Shikino High-Tech provides 3D camera modules as a camera module vendor for the business promoted by Magic Eye, aiming to commercialise advanced and high-performance 3D cameras with Magic Eye technology. We will continue to collaboratively develop cameras that are suitable for "3D facial authentication to prevent spoofing" as tech's proprietary product.

yep moreover they have a long standing relationship with Renesas and camera used with Renesas RZ/A1H: and RZ/ARM Coretex-A9 AND RZ/A1LU and they are boasting on their website low power consumption. So maybe just maybe we can have Shikino under the waterline fo the iceberg :)

And in keeping them with Shikino today on list is Shikino High-Tech and Socionext are together with the Prototype Communication Module P-TMFSU-041, this module incorporates Socionexts SC1320A.

Now who doesn't like a bit of family connections. And my list of connections gets bigger and bigger and bigger with Shikino. If only i could read japanese I would get a whole lot more from their website and their utube channel.

I missed this but I have a feeling that BrainChip is somehow involved. Need to check if indeed the report below is true.

Oticon Medical’s ears must be burning after parent company Demant struck a deal to divest the implant business in a sale to fellow hearing technology developer Cochlear.

Copenhagen-based Demant will sell off Oticon to the Australian buyer for 850 million Danish kroner, or about $120 million. Cochlear will shell out 700 million Danish kroner in upfront cash once the deal is finalized, then the remaining 150 million kroner within 18 months of its closing.

As part of the deal, Cochlear has promised to continue supporting the more than 75,000 people who have already received Oticon’s hearing implants. Moving forward, it will also take the newly acquired products into consideration for compatibility purposes as it develops future technologies.

I believe so.

1. “We cannot comment”
Acknowledges the existence of the document and what is contained therein and does not deny the likelihood that it is correct.

2. “Ignoring the document”
Does not admit of its existence in anyway. It meets an obligation not to say anything about the NASA engagement as referenced by Rob Telson and suggests that the public accessibility of this document was not a planned event.

I personally see a significant problem with this document. It contains a reference to letters making financial offers and it might be that if Brainchip were to acknowledge the document the ASX might then feel empowered to demand details of these funding offers.

This could create for Brainchip a rock and hard place with the ASX the rock and NASA and US National Security the hard place.

Particularly as the Director of NASA has politicised the Moon today by claiming that China is attempting to claim full territorial rights over it for military strategic purposes.

It is clear there is a real live Moon race in play between the super powers that might be won autonomously at 20 kph.

So my opinion only and speculation and DYOR

And it also seems they are associated with Socionexts SC1320A o and wait for it... PANASONIC :)

As members of the HD-PLC Alliance, Socionext and Shikino High-Tech will continue to work closely together and propose a variety of applications that utilize HD-PLC, in addition to delivering stand- alone ICs and communication modules, thereby contributing to the spread of this technology and the expansion of the market.

Shikino High-Tech communication module P-TMFSU-041 information:

https://www.shikino.co.jp/eng/products/P-TMFSU-041_specifications_E.pdf

Socionext HD-PLC IC SC1320A information:

https://www.socionext.com/en/products/assp/HD-PLC/

About HD-PLC IP core (Panasonic Corporation):

https://www.panasonic.com/global/business/hd-plc/en.html

Seems like Shikino is singing -

A little bit of Socionext here i am, A little bit of Panasonic by my side, a little bit of Magic-eye is what i see and A little bit of AKIDA is what i need. You and me a gonna touch the sky.

Ok my singing voice is not the best but it seems all in tune above.
ok I may have repeated myself earlier, i already told you the above lol I think i am now slightly obsessed with Shikino, so Arpan Pal gets a break from me today lol

That why I think our best clue will be the C4's as Sean has stated to show us the direction of growth.

I wonder if we would have received any funds q2 but it would not be big.

The most exciting thing with all this is more solid validation .

Wow the performance improvement of the rover (autonomous vehicle) of 139 times is mind boggling if due to Akida Technology on the edge (and seems so)and has significant implications - interesting is the letters of commitment for deployment on 2 space missions NOT necessarily NASA and we know who else is in this game

No wonder BRN is in full Schultz mode of I know nothing.
