I'm an idiot - deleted. Thought Republic of Congo was Democratic Republic. (Usually when I see it referred to it's just 'Congo')
Not sure if you're aware, Republic of the Congo and Democratic Republic of the Congo are different.

Ah yes, little more than the usual Chinese window dressing and virtue-signalling by a subsidiary of Zijin Mining whose environmental track record is a pattern of neglect and indifference. When Zijin talks about sustainability in its reports, it actually means sustainability of profits regardless of the damage caused by its operations.
Building a couple of schools does not absolve that odious company of its environmental and social obligations.
