Considering Grok's accuracy with the above question, I think we can trust Grok with its US$9billion estimate. Now show me the money

So, Elon owns X.
X owns Grok.

That must mean that Elon is offering US$9 Billlion?

Sorry, probably clutching at straws there.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot the winky faces ;);)😜

Here is the thread to discuss anything AVZ related…

Just to kick on a discussion. Any bets on when the mining license will be granted or a TO price announcement.

🔥 May 4th maybe

When I first saw the news re Kobold I'd just logged on to share some speculation on when the US might take action positive for AVZ.
My reasoning was that Trump needs a geopolitical win to wave around. Tariffs, Palestine, Ukraine... all not playing out how he would like. So he wants a win to wave around, and doubly-so if it's something that reinforces the idea of his 'minerals-for-security' policy. And by helping the Aussies Trump gets to show he's not de-facto against ALL former allies - as long as there's something in it for the US. So USA wanting to take action sooner rather than later.

Add on top of that the impending deadline for tribunal hearings (oh and the militia rampaging across their country) and DRC wants action sooner rather than later.

And Kobold knows the further we get through arbitration and securing our own claim, the deeper entrenched we become with CATH, so they want sooner rather than later.

Kobold have done their homework. Some on here have already speculated they made a lowball offer last year that was (rightly) flat-out rejected. Someone has leaked the news about the offer which puts pressure on accelerating action.
Wild speculation here but working backwards from ICSID:
- If AVZ is giving up it's rights and position in arbitration this all needs to be settled well in advance, say 4 weeks
- Another month of actually getting shit sorted out (do we need a special AGM?) 4 weeks
- Leaves us with 2 weeks for them to decide on where between $15B and $30B they want to offer.

I'll go from date the announcement leaked and say 4th April for an offer.

@Winenut (s) I joined twitter to post information that could reach a wider audience and now I’m reading Jens post scenarios saying we don’t have the ML and there’s in country risk

I already posted a comment on the ML and as far as the in country risk KoBold would supposedly face….

According to the reports, part of any agreement between the DRC and the US includes US military support and permission for the US to have military bases in the DRC which significantly reduces in country risk. Add to that Trump has signed an Executive Order to use US Defence funds for accessing critical minerals. Doesn’t sound like KoBold is taking on too much risk to me

Jack Ma (KoBold) worth US$28 billion
Bill Gates (KoBold) worth US$107 billion
Jeff Bezos (KoBold) worth US$211 billion
Elon Musk (Tesla) worth US$327 billion

Add to the above that KoBold has a joint venture partnership with BHP to look for battery minerals

BHP worth $200 billion

If I was MD, I would say to the DRC, US and KoBold…. @Winenut (s) wants $12 and so do we, otherwise you can let Zijin and Vominiere deal with the M23 militia and the US and KoBold can look for low grade lithium somewhere else because the ICC and ICSID (World Bank) support our right to ownership

In the end I’m sure Nigel will get what he feels is the best deal for shareholders, especially when he knows it’s shareholders money he’s sitting at the table with

The truth is I’m spending too much time on the forums again thinking about AVZ, it’s now 2:46am here in Newy and I should be asleep
How do you have any time at all to think about AVZ when you spend half your day posting vengeful shit on the Brainchip threads. Lol.

It’s an easy get! Bezos and the crew buy it at discount $3.50 Trump ensures DRC are compliant using military force. America dominates lithium trade. Albanese sits around with his thumb in his ass apologising to the ABC and the LGBTIQZUIPTRY community for not preventing all hate crimes in the Middle East.

The truth is in the posts for everyone to see mate. AVZ shareholder’s could go and see what goes on in the BRN threads. Here’s a perfect example, three pages of vengeful comments and abuse from BRN holders 👇

You're looking from this side of the fence. What actually happened is someone came here and made a comment that Dave didn't like, so he created a thread on BRN and purposely posted multiple times a day about the financial performance of Brainchip to piss people off. He still has missed the key point being Brainchip is a technology innovator commercializing it's technology. Can't judge the company on its financials yet but Dave has attempted to just to downramp and piss people off. Very small, petty man.

I've reported the three non-AVZ posts plus this one above.
" NOT AVZ
Off topic "

Could you please take your issue to the correct thread.

Billionaires in the race for AVZ Africa jewel

A cutting-edge mining company that counts the ultra-rich Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos as investors could reportedly throw Australian-based AVZ Minerals a lifeline for part control over one of the world’s largest hard-rock lithium deposits.

The US-based KoBold Metals recently wrote a letter to the Democratic Republic of Congo’s rulers, Bloomberg has reported, amid early-stage conversations between the US and the DRC to form a critical minerals and security partnership.

KoBold, which is known for using artificial intelligence to explore for commodities such as lithium and copper, has proposed taking over part of the Manono mining licence.

KoBold’s proposal also reportedly aims to resolve a long-drawn dispute involving AVZ Minerals, China’s Zijin Mining Group and the DRC government, according to a letter seen by Bloomberg.

The deposit “has the potential to become a large-scale, long-lived lithium mine”, KoBold chief legal officer Sandy Alexander wrote in a letter to Congo President Felix Tshisekedi’s chief-of-staff on January 21.

The company “would welcome the opportunity to develop the asset,” Mr Alexander said.

KoBold has more than 70 exploration projects around the world and is developing a copper mine in neighbouring Zambia.

The KoBold offer reportedly came days before Mr Tshisekedi proposed a minerals-for-security deal with US President Donald Trump’s administration.

DRC’s Government is battling a Rwanda-backed rebellion in its mineral-rich eastern provinces.

AVZ was developing the Manono mining project in the DRC — touted as “the biggest lithium discovery on the planet”. But in 2023 the DRC’s Government controversially split the licence and gave Zijin the northern portion.

The value of AVZ, which was listed on the ASX, was savaged by the licence split and its shares are currently delisted.

It is fighting a bitter legal battle in hopes of winning back the whole deposit.

KoBold’s plan is contingent on AVZ receiving “appropriate compensation” and agreeing to transfer all its interests in the DRC.
