The issue with ML is that it bounds CATH to AVZ does it not? Unless we can stump up 20m as a break fee. So its a bit of a chicken and egg.

Entirely hypothetically of course, say we sell for 8 billion - 20 million is 0.25% of that value.

I think it’s important to highlight that even if we don't emerge from this minerals deal with a direct offer from a US based company, there are broader factors at play that significantly strengthen our position.

What AVZ and any serious US investor or stakeholder will need is 100% assurance that the DRC is not only adhering to its own Mining Code but also respecting international legal frameworks, particularly the rulings and protections provided under the ICC and ICSID. These legal assurances are critical for moving forward for the US to have interest in any deal, regardless of who ultimately partners with AVZ.

So, while a short-term exit or takeover might not be immediately on the table, I believe this situation is nonetheless paves the way for a mining license to finally be granted so the DRC demonstrates they are following these frameworks. Once that happens, we’ll have far more freedom to advance with mining, attract investment or selling on our own terms.

In short, this isn’t just about a quick deal necessarily, it’s about the US requiring proof of established legal and operational certainty, the benefit for us might just be a side effect.

Having said all that, I do think if something moves ahead, the US will want Manono under their umbrella of influence.

Would Felix try to f--k over the US Government ? Would be fun to watch . Be nice to see CKK get vaporized while he's taking a sh1t .

Another bad actor tried to sell a 15% interest in Dathcom for a pittance and a bunch of tasty snacks

AVZ shareholders were outraged.....

there were scenes and confrontations at the AGM in 2022

AVZ shareholders wanted answers......but they didn't really get much

a man called Felix promised to help the DRC and Manono

people thought the good guys had arrived

Many thought the mining licence was "imminent"

people waited... and waited....and waited...for the mining licence to arrive

many became even more frustrated and angry

to add to the situation lies and disinformation were published by a cretinous, smug, distasteful and dodgy journalist

the scale and extent of the stories and lies printed in the national publication were unbelievable

layer upon layer of mistruths were woven together to create confusion and hide the truth

ultimately the clown prince of "journalism" confirmed he was a complete and utter arsehole and an arrogant twat

and basically.........an absolute...............dick

meanwhile social media was being flooded and overrun with trolls and arsewipes....

some trolls attempted to hijack the TSE thread and create their own 2023 version which went really well.....

the new thread was a great success

more bad actors/trolls online were identified on the TSE site by a simple social media scheme of entrapment

and the catch of the day was

these bottom dwelling bad actors and trolls were summarily dispatched in a signature move from MoneyBags

the general strain however was starting to take it's toll and shareholders were beginning to self medicate

and some almost lost all hope

this new unholy triumvirate looked to create deep division and confusion amongst shareholders

then.....almost miraculously....AVZ management finally released a decent announcement!!

long suffering shareholders continued to hope for an outcome

Employing everything at their disposal to finally get the long awaited positive result

Meanwhile, back in country, clearly helpful elves grouped at the Mpiana Mwanga hydro facility....

Almost incredibly they kindly began rehabilitation work on the dam on behalf of AVZ and the good people of the DRC!

the progress of the works is currently unknown however at least 4 claimants are taking the elves to court on the basis it’s not Christmas and therefore clearly...... not their job


which came as some surprise to the elves.....

So now another year has passed my friends......and the 2023 AGM is looming large
