AVZ Discussion 2022

Surely Nigel would have been obliged to inform share holders of the situation and passed the tin around if AVZ was short ? Looks to me like more stall and delay tactics . What I want to know is can we still put the case before ICSID even if the DRC are a no show . If we can then that's a huge win for AVZ . What is the point of f--king ICSID if the guilty party can just walk away and not be punished . It makes no sense . What we need now is the Locke funds to show these c--ts we can drag their arses to the ICSID . I suspect @geo_au's promised jump for joy announcement is in regard to funding .
If the DRC no-show then the case goes on... as long as it is funded for the tribunal to make a judgement based on the merits of the case. If the respondent doesn't pay their fees then it's up to AVZ keep the arbitration lights on (they won't automatically rule in favour of AVZ if the DRC don't pay though).
The non-funding and other antics would of course all be taken into consideration in the final rulings.

This is way outside the 📦, beyond lateral thinking i feel, so forgive me if you think I'm stupid (which I probably am having got caught in this shit show come f'g disaster) but IF a deal has been done to our benefit 🤔 already, i guess we/they don't need to be paying icsid....in any case

He had "more freedom to speak" BEFORE he was our supposed "advocate" so those words are bullshit.

All talk and no substance. I'm growing very tired of all those saying they've got "something to say" and fail to follow through.

Yes, I'm talking to you too @geo_au - you owe the forum an update. Even if you create a private conversation with those you know are safe - that's a start.. Well overdue for your "end game news".

It is a better place for an AGM. Easy parking and nice rooms.

Who is making the trek to Perth for the AGM? Is it worth going? Will we be able to ask questions and get answers or same as last year?
I don't really feel like spending more time & $$$ for little information and just the 2 resolutions of electing Directors.

Voted no to both - haven't done anything and won't be doing anything in the foreseeable future... Why pay for the milk & cookies....

In respect to filing fees at ICSID they are not as significant other posters have suggested

It's a staged approach, we have already made a significant investment in fees overall it might add up to $3m (both parties) but we are past half way mark for AVZ share
