Main take away is, AVZ should not have to arbitrate with Cominiere. This is total bullshit.
How can the MoM talk about “harmony” when the IGF is shouting from the rooftops the defrauding of the State.

Someone made MoM write that, surely.

All this points to how weak the Tshisekedi coalition is. And the Chinese are exploiting it! they are owning the ministers THEY are attempting a coup on a so called sovereign state!

Irony is Yibin wanted AVZ to take control of Dathcom, and this is one of the causes of friction— why isn’t Yibin looking after the brown paper bags???

Chinese have been corroding AVZ’s management all along in my view. Even the hydroxide pivot away from EU to in-country (a country not ready) are all attempts to interfere and undermine confidence in AVZ when all AVZ has to do was start a 2mtpa SC6 facility and slowly but carefully ramp it up. Nigel got that idea right. “Walk before run”

So postponing on Zijjn matter at ICC is very suspicious.

If AVZ got a win against Zijin at ICC that just defuses the whole Congolese drive so the cynical question is, from what other avenue will Zijin et al try to undermine from next.
This is why fighting the Congolese when bombs should dropped on the Chinese embassy is what should really be happening.

So what likely conclusion do you see regards to this long drawn out impasse between AVZ / DRC / CHINA regards to Manono ?

a) Will FT finally bow to the IGF report and the power of the common folk who want to see AVZ construct / produce at RD not ZIJIN...........with a election coming in the next 7 months , intervene and award AVZ the ML and its 100% rights to CDL ?

b) Or, will compromises have to be made from all parties ?

c) Is there a possibility of a TO and with whom ?

d) Or will the long game persist and AVZ gets stripped from Dathcom , told to fuck off , with DRC remaining a slave to China, becoming a pariah state with no international coy wanting to be part of the precedence ?

This topic is the hot potato that everyone has been discussing on this forum in your absence, not AVZ lack of disclosure, which most folk here would admit is suss as all hell and which i am certain will be dealt with if ( D ) comes to fruition....

Thing is @Der Geist brings receipts unlike 99% of people in this shit show. Personally I give zero fucks about his intentions if he can back up what he is saying. My only complaint is I'd rather him stick to one account than this weird Mick Foleyesque multiple angle crap we're getting. Maybe that's a condition of him being back here. It's not a coincidence that multiple posts were moderated concerning him recently and yesterday we all got a reminder of the rules imo

What he has said today only backs up management's decisions about disclosure. Overall he has shown a willingness to change opinions based on new information and I respect that. Especially as someone that crapped on about lions all summer. Although the main reason I did that was to try and take heat off the board that people like him were applying. But it's not like he ever promised us champagne at Christmas 2021 like they did.

It’s rational to think that the US protects AVZ, the risk is the US wants Manono and doesn’t respect it’s faithful ally

The strange thing is Kinshasa knocked back Fortescue Futures Twiggy in 2020 whatever minister door he knocked on whilst just ignoring AVZ altogether seeking the mining license for himself ‘AVZ can’t get this happening’. Apparently, as I recall, the view was as allegedly relayed to AVZ was that, AVZ has done everything right or not done anything wrong. This is why AVZ was so confident that things are in its favour besides the agitations from Cong and Cominiere. It’s likely why ASIC and ASX didn’t act sooner as well. The spooks were watching.

However, might I suggest we wait until the next company announcement is out before scaling up and continuing blanket rhetoric on the usual suspects on Twitter?

Love your work, however with another announcement due very soon, just maybe the focus will change to one or two persons that we can all go hard on big time. If Kibeye has acted alone, I suggest there is a reasonable chance he will be hung out to dry, if not strung up, which would be good for us.

Maybe, and I say, just maybe the MoP and others use him as the reason for all the problems and blame their actions on his supply of information and said testimony etc.

Yes small chance I agree, but for the sake of two or a few days and if the political elite use Kibeye as a scape goat then they can exit stage left with less scrutiny and AVZ should be restored in full.

Granted this might be a bit of a pipe dream, but just in case I'm right, I think it is worth going hard on Kibeye now and hope he is flushed down the toilet by all and blamed by others to deflect their corrupt actions which would I think leave AVZ in a very good position.

Agree, all of Kibeya’s noise on twitter is unnecessary - it suggests he is having an anxiety attack.
