I’ve just watched the documentary in full. I must say I am extremely impressed with everyone on the ground.
Led to me thinking though, that it is very possible that recent drilling and construction around the camp was done to help produce this documentary. Many of us questioned why bother paying for round the clock drilling and expansion of the camp when we were still at an impasse with the government.
Now we clearly have this documentary, where people were actively working around the site (and consistently saying 12 months of delays). Highlighting all AVZ has done for the community, the high wages in comparison to the Chinese, our local support at every level and many locals employed on site. The documentary likely just won the information war. How could Zijin possibly top this?
Well done team. My full support is back behind the project, and I trust in the Board to get this over the line.
