He's not Chinese. I don't know onthefm well, met at Melb RS. I think he's v pissed off that his big LT investment in AVZ is such a shit-show.
I've fought most of my life to be positive, glass half full. Most of my wife's & my savings are tied in AVZ. But I will stay positive until vindicated with ML, or until Nige & FT fail me, e.g. no ML by May-23 (6-7 months < election). Regardless, its only $$. I still have my wife & kids. GLTAH.
P.S. Moneybags, hoping you come back, again & again (Lazarus). I highly value your work, wisdom & sharing. I've been busy but will try to research more & add to TSE knowledge more in Feb.

I hope you're right. I'll give you 10 out of 10 for your plan. I do think we are worth 10 after the payback period is complete if we get that far. But we're not going to get anywhere near 10 at the moment imo

Last council of ministers of the Sama I government, here are the two missions of Sama II
Returning to the country since Thursday January 26 after more than a week spent in Europe, United Arab Emirates and Africa, Felix Tshisekedi chaired the very last Council of Ministers of the Sama I government, from his office in the Cité de l'Union Africaine. by videoconference, this Friday, January 27, 2023.
Sources inform that the President of the Republic returned to, among other things, complete, this week, the file of the reshuffle of the government which he himself had announced at the beginning of January.
According to indiscretions, the Prime Minister presented him with a report, more than a week ago, on reducing the size of the government.
The team goes from 53 to 40 members, according to the will of Félix Tshisekedi, manifested moreover in his own cabinet, the size of which he has significantly reduced.
Some departments will be coupled, while others will disappear.
Question of reducing the standard of living of the institutions.
Everything is therefore ready for the redesign.
The new government team, which will still be led by Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde, will be published before the end of the week, unless unforeseen.
Other sources say it will be before Friday next week.
The General Inspectorate of Finance would have been called upon to present its reports relating to control in the cabinets of members of the government.
Hijacking ministers are automatically disqualified from the Sama II team.
This will have two clear missions.
The first is to work on actions with visible impacts one year before the presidential election.
The second, work to give an overwhelming majority to Felix Tshisekedi and have him re-elected for a second term.
