Can someone engaged on Twitter pose this simple question to the principals of MoP, CAMI, Comminere, Dathomir et al, on behalf of the Congolese people:

"What do you understand by the time-honored and laudable French expression - 'noblesse oblige'?"

Thanks in advance.

Note - noblesse oblige is the idea that someone with power and influence should use their social position to help other people. Duty, obligation and responsibility.

Sadly, in light of the DRC's history of corruption, it appears this wonderful, civilising concept never got off the plane in Kinshasa.

Why don’t the collective with 5% discuss grievances / expectations with the Board directly as a group, rather than on this very public site during this critical time in obtaining the ML - imo we’re in the process of the #Final Assault happening now.

Not against the idea completely, just not now.

Simply because some like to beat their chest without thinking about the consequences

"Please refer to the initial reason for the voluntary suspension…….that is what needs to be clarified to enable the resumption of trading.
The Dathomir action does not impact the award of ML (albeit the award is completely beyond the control of AVZ) nor our ability to progress funding and development of the project."

And there you have it. That’s why every snippet of information about timeframes needs to be taken with a sackful of Himalayan rock salt. AVZ should stop talking or even hinting about dates and talk only of the activities underway to progress matters (unless prejudicial to reveal). It happens when it happens - in the meantime we’ll continue to hang on to our ankles…
