In a press release made public today, the president of the Congolese Association for Access to Justice ACAJ in the acronym Georges Kapiamba, warns about the convening this Monday, December 5, 2022 of a meeting of all directors at the Ministry of the Portfolio on the file of AGEMI and IMD companies demanding from the SCTP undue payments already denounced by the General Inspectorate of Finance
This NGO, which defends human rights, deplores this attitude, which does not care much about the financial and operational difficulties of society.
"ACAJ is all the more concerned about the attitude of the board of directors, which does not care about the company's financial and operational difficulties. Instead, he continues to put pressure on the SCTP Branch to obtain the urgent payment of +/- USD 43 million to AGEMI and +/- USD 7 million to IMD," denounces the NGO ACAJ led by Georges Kapiamba
And to add:
"This carelessness risks irretrievably mortgage the recovery of the SCTP faced in particular with the challenges, not only of payroll, but also the settlement of attendance tokens following the frequent and unjustified convening of board meetings, sometimes 4 in a month," he concluded
The ACAAJ continues by stressing that, in a quasi-bankruptcy company, it is incomprehensible that each administrator touches the USD presence token title. 8,200 per meeting; and that each meeting results in disbursements of +/- USD 120,000.
In addition, the ACAAJ calls on the Congolese State, the Single Shareholder of the SCTP, to put an end to this financial bleeding whose foundations are in disharmoniousness, on the one hand with the policy of the "People of First" and, on the other hand, hinder the recovery efforts of this society whose impact on the social and economic development of the DRC
