Many DRC citizens engaging and viewing this post, don't be a lazybones!

Agree but for fuck sake give him a minute to absorb his selection and at least have a seat. Bloody Jens is spamming him within 5 minutes of his announcement.

There is such a thing as tact and decorum you know.

His last post was in 2020. It's more about awareness for the DRC citizens that will see the post to keep the pressure on their officials.

I am sure he is more than aware of the Manono situation already.

Is it shitting anyone else that this whole uproar over the congolese missing out on the $70 Million which was misapropriated, is from a sale of rights that was STOLEN from us! Dathcom mining and AVZ.

DRC dont seem to give a shit about the theft, but they want a cut from the proceeds of the sale of stolen goods.

Of course the uproar is helping us by shining a light on the foul stench of Cominiere and Zijin, but still... farrrrrrrrrrk!

Yes evidently they couldn't give a fuck as long as they get their share of snacks. It's been a running theme for those in the DRC. Corrupted from the ground up and vice versa. Their whole society is corruption based from the lowliest officials up and it's an aspiration for the common man.
This is why ICSID seems like the only solution imo.

If Felix gave a sh1t about ICSID we wouldn't be in this mess . It's not the Ministers that need to be changed . It's the President ,and he calls all the shots for the next 5 years .Sorry I meant to say China and Felix call all the shots for next 5 years .In that order.
Imo it's likely that none of them give a fuck because they won't be the ones paying for it. They all get to embezzle whatever they like while they are in power and it'll simply be a cost that the country endures which doesn't effect the stolen wealth of those in power.

Sorry Wombat,

No deal if its going to cost me - I am happy to see it to the end if necessary.

But would prefer it to be sorted sooner than later.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but I just noticed that 4029 & 4030 are now both marked as "To be forfeited due to non payment" on the CAMI website.

I'm only surprised that it didn't happen sooner. The shitshow continues.

Vice MoM has not changed, ex MoM is now an inspector of Mines
And our 'friend' Guy Loando has still a senior position.
So very curious if anything will change, or are the old hands going to enjoy their ill obtained rewards.

$AVZ Good appointment here in @ConstantMutamba (who is very active on Twitter at this time) as Minister of Justice. See Wembi's good write up below. To be clear, ideologically, Mutamba is a Pan-Africanist- so putting Africans first in all things and solidarity with other Africans is how he views the world and, therefore, the aim of public policy. That said, we followed him during his quixotic campaign for the Presidency last fall and he's fully committed to the rule of law- which should make every investor in Congo happy. He's also technically in the opposition- so his time as Minister may (emp on "may") see more independence from the Presidency and Congo's corrupt politics and a long overdue reform of its judiciary. With this appointment, it cements his growing status as potential top official in DRC's politics. Investors would be wise to offer him a well-deserved congratulations and to begin building a relationship, along with Madame @SuminwaJudith - who built what appears to be a very technocratic government. #DRC #RDC #Africa
